I was at Lowe's today and almost walked out of the store without making a purchase because there were store associates that were rude to me, my partner and my mom. We walked up to the front to complain, we ended up talking to several nice people. I would like to pay compliments to Jennifer, Sabrina and Xavier for being very nice and for helpful with our transaction, but the superstar of Lowe's is definitely Mason. He took time and stayed after his off time to make sure that we were taken care of. The time that he spent with us made us feel appreciated and valued as customers. If it were not for Mason, we would not have made the purchase today. If I could rate him over five stars, I would. Thank you, Mason for everything that you did today. read more

Ann provided excellent customer service!! She answered all of my questions thoroughly and made the process of setting up my kitchen faucet installation easy. The installation at Lowe's was $100 less than prices I got from plumbing companies!!! She was very polite, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire experience. read more

We're remodeling and ordered 2 commodes. They were delivered to our driveway instead of front door and left there in the rain. One of them had to be returned for a different unit. Upon that delivery, the return was picked up and taken back to the store. After waiting a week, the refund was not yet processed. On Saturday, I spent 25 minutes on hold while someone said she would find out status. Gave up. I called today and received an extremely rude call back informing me that it had been received and refund issued today. Never again. Lost a good customer forever. read more

Went a couple weeks back to buy some wood, needed it cut and there machine was broke. before driving back to the store, I called to confirm their saw was working and they said it was. I drove there walked in and told the first associate I need could he get someone at the saw so I can have something cut. They said OK waited 30 minutes. Nothing went to the front pro counter told him I needed someone to come cut wood waited another 45 minutes and no one ever came. Went back to the front and said I've been waiting for more than an hour and no one has came back to the saw. They replied to say oh sorry they're at lunch. Left the store. Do not recommend any type of services of theirs. read more

I bought two vanities for delivery. They confirmed time and everything and then my order is mysteriously canceled. I tried to reorder and the vanity was $300 MORE? Each! What?!? It's always some crazy hassle like this with Lowe's and nobody is interested in making it right. I guess I just kept giving them chance after chance and hoping this turned around as far as customer service but they are horrible. The worst..up there with At&T and Carnival Cruise lines during the pandemic. I used to buy all my paint from them in my renovation business because of the Valspar value but I just switched everything to another vendor this week after this. Unless you like being continuously frustrated, steer clear of Lowe's. It's no wonder their stock is down over 10% this year! Horrible company! read more

Lowes sucks on deliveries. I ordered 2 dishwashers and they have reset me 4 times now. Each time I have to pay the plumbers to reschedule snd they font care. I have 12 rentals so order things a lot. Home Depot always delivers on time and correct day. I keep forgetting you cant order anything from Lowes and receive. Their 3 rd party delivery services are horrible. Will never step in that store again. Lowes Sucks!! read more

paint department is trash and so is all the employee. they don't help and usually pass you to someone else or say they'll page someone. My review is based on my experience walking into store on June 15 around 7:30 ish. I reminder to all that Home Depot is just a few light down at 21530 TX-249, Houston, TX 77070. After I left Lowe's I called to complain to manager. Guess the lady on the counter left me on hold. No good work ethic here. #TheHomeDepot #TeamHomeDepot Couldn't even Purchase paint or that cool scrub daddy, what a shame that the lack of effort from the employees cost the company money and future customers. I hope yall lose more customers from this review. I won't stop here, I will post names later read more

Go to Home Depot!! I have spent over $50k at this store and today they denied my return of 4 backer boards because I did not have my receipt. That is the last time Lowe's will ever receive one penny from me. They lost thousands over a $100 return. Blacklisted!! read more

Lowe's is my home improvement store for at least the past five years. I have hired Lowe's project management team to replace windows, install gutters and deliver flooring, drywall and paint. I've bought several refrigerators with added warranties and I have received rebates on the water filters. Last year Lowe's installed my washer and dryer at my house. I recently ordered some lawn seed to repair my front lawn and decided to try their online order and pick up at the store. I placed the order Saturday morning and i was emailed couple of hours later it was ready for pick up. I stopped by the next day, parked in the designated spot and called customer service. The employee delivered the grass seed to my car trunk after reviewing my identification and getting me to sign a pick up receipt. I would use their pick up system again. I really appreciate this low contact option. read more

I am a supervisor for the biggest restoration company internationally (Belfor) , we have spent millions with lowes since I've been here. today when me and my crew had gone to this location for supplies a Hispanic female worker confronted my workers that don't speak English well. I had told the women that they don't speak English. Too which she said that he's white and that he does. Shen then took our cart and made a scene that we were stealing. She then followed us through the store and when we were checking out she was very rude about how I was paying..... she didn't like that I had a company card. read more

Really not sure why people give this place a low rating. Every single time I come here I see people on every aisle ready to help. I had three people help me find a special fitting I need it today for a project. Marco is just amazing, so is Jan, and Atlantis was just as nice and helpful. When I go to Home Depot there's never helped to be found. Not sure if it's a staffing issue or what but I can never find someone to help me so I will no longer be going to Home Depot. Every single time I come to Lowe's everyone is more than helpful, they always go above and beyond, and I always leave with what I need. So really not sure why people have rated the store so low, because every time I go in I am always helped, I have always been taken care of and I have never once had one issue at this location. read more

Just had another shockingly bad experience at Lowe's. Asked for advice on wood (lumber) purchase - man showed me the options, noted my requirement, and I was told to select and pay for lumber, then have it cut to size - paid, then proceeded to cutting station - waited several minutes - employee came but refused to cut the lumber - he also said he could only make 3 cuts and I wanted 4 (2 on each piece of wood) so said I would have to buy one piece one day, and the second piece the next...but in any case, the "3 cut rule" was moot because he refused to cut it at all, or offer any alternative solution. Pretty unpleasant about it, to boot. Total lack of customer service mentality or empathy. Not the first time I have been disgusted by treatment in this store - but thankfully there are other stores! read more

Honestly it's 1 star cause that's what i have to put. If i could put 0 stars it would be that! Apart from hearing horrible reviews from this establishment i decided to give it the benefit of the doubt & i was disappointed. This lowe's is very unorganized and dirty. Management it incompetent to do their job and simply seems like they're uninterested to do their job in general. Highly disappointed and wont come here again. Better off going to a different location or a different place like home depot or something. read more

1 star is generous. They have no idea what's going on and when you call to sort things out they don't answer. I'm convinced the phone is in an abandoned office somewhere with the door shut. Our washer and dryer was supposed to be sent today, they show up with hook ups for the washer and drying and said they would be back to deliver the refrigerator later (they delivered it the week prior) but no w/d an hour later someone brought a dryer but no washer. I've been on an endlessly ringing phone line without answer for over an hour to figure out where the washer is. I'd recommend literally anyone else, hand washing and line drying clothing might be better than this. read more

I bought a key from here to copy ( a uncut key) and I didn't have my other key at the time that I was going to copy , so they told me I could come back and they will cut my key for me. I come back to get my key cut and this girl named Joyce had the worst customer service anything. She was rude from the get go and when I asked for my key to be cut she said that I had to buy my key right then and there , and that my uncut key can't be used. Great place, awesome people. Everyone is so helpful and the place is so clean. Lowes is my favorite home improvement store.

Was supposed to have a stove delivered and installed today. Was scheduled for anywhere between 2 and 6PM. They called at 515PM and claimed they would be arriving at 6, 45 minutes later. They eventually showed up around 7. When my why questioned as to why they were an hour late she received attitude about how they stated, "They'd be there when they got there." The gentleman who was supposed to be installing and hauling off the gas stove proceeds to make an excuse about not being about to swap out our stove. Apparently tells my wife to hire a contractor to come change our entire gas line out. Left the new stove just sitting in the middle of our kitchen and then just left. Even though installation and haul away were paid for. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing service. Late, inconsiderate and unprofessional. We just had the floors replaced and have no dolly. So now we are stuck with a stove sitting in the middle of the kitchen until I can get some answers tomorrow. If I could give less than one star I would. read more

They usually have what I need and Heather (lighting) is such a peach - the epitome of someone with customer service skills! Terrible access to their driveway, however that might not be their fault. The workers are not friendly, nor are they helpful in any kind of way! Asked for help looking for an item, and the guy gave us a general idea of where it could be. Turns out he was completely wrong. Witness another customer asking for his assistance, and he stated, "Anything that is grass related should be in this aisle". So nice to see top notch service in a lazy form. read more

I went to Lowe's today not knowing ANYTHING about how to take care of a yard with a weed problem (1st time homeowner) and left with knowledge of not only how to handle weeds, but how to get on a fertilization schedule, edge my gardens and what soil to get to grow certain flowers/herbs. Tim was so friendly and knowledgeable, he helped me not ruin my lawn even further. Thank you Tim! Excellent customer service. read more

Buyers beware, we purchased our washer and paid extra for delivery and installation. Our first load all the water drained out onto our wood floors. The drain hose had not been connected to the machine at the bottom. We filed a claim with Lowe's who said they would take care of it. They hire a third company to deliver and install appliances, that company's insurance denied our claim because the person installing our washer was working outside the scope of what he is covered to do. Lowes said we had to deal with that insurance company. The damage is $21,000.00. read more

My wife bought a pair of Allen + Roth outdoor metal chairs through this store in mid-August. No one bothered to tell her that the item was no longer in production. When I got around to trying to assemble the chairs in early October, I found that the instruction manual was not only written incorrectly, but that the parts sent with the chairs matched the wrong instructions, meaning there were insufficient parts to complete assembly of the second chair. I figured "just go to a hardware store to buy four 1/4 x 20 coarse thread 2/1/4" stainless steel hex bolts and complete the assembly." Well, that part just isn't made, apparently. I can find it in a 2" or a 2 1/2" (you can't cut stainless steel bolts to fit into a threaded hole). Next step is to call Allen + Roth: No luck, as the item can't be found because it has been discontinued, and no one at the company even knows what it is, nor can they find it. (Remember, we just bought this about 45 days earlier.) Next step is to call Lowe's. After trying to deal with entry-level people who can't find it (because it's been discontinued), I ask for a supervisor. Some jerk named Eric, who refuses to give me any further identification (last name, employee i.d.#, or whatever), says he'll check into it and "get back to me 'shortly' ". Four days later I've heard nothing, so I try to call him back, and no one knows who he is. (Surprise, surprise...) I then call another office at Lowe's, speak to a Martin, who won't give me a last name (company policy), but gives me an i.d.#, says he's taking copious notes, and will have a supervisor at the Tomball store call me by noon today with a status report on my four specialty bolts. Guess what? No call by noon, so I try to call Martin at 3:00 PM today, and no one knows who he is. Current status is that the Market Director of the Houston Area will call me by 5:00 PM tomorrow with a solution to my problem. If he doesn't, Lowe's will hear from my attorney. I'm fed up with each person putting the problem off to the next. This is the last time I'll ever deal with Lowe's on anything, as their customer service is IMHO non-existent. The same applies to Allen + Roth. read more

The staff may as well be ghosts. They see us looking around, helpless, and they run the other way. No one ever, ever asks if we need help. They seem to be busy doing something else but they never ever look involved in what they are doing. Sometimes I am lucky to tackle an employee who points in the right direction. Rarely. I had a laundry list of items, probably had over $300 to spend but guess what! No one was around (window blinds, range hood, lighting) so I went home, went online and ordered ALL of it from various other stores. Home Depot being one of them. The man at the kitchen desk - he saw us, at least peripherally, looking up at the aisle numbers, slowly walking, as we were desperately trying to make eye contact with him, and he picked up the phone as if to make a call, but I never heard him say a word into the phone. Would he pause? No. Could he pause? Yes. He obviously couldn't have cared less about customers right on front of him that just needed ONE question answered. I think it's gotta be in the Lowe's employee handbook to not acknowledge customers, wear a sullen look, and treat your customers in a manner that makes one wish they never stepped foot in this store. I had painters in my house all week and he said the contractors are treated very, very well by Lowe's, he says, because contractors spend lots of money in there. Well, I will not be shopping the 249/Cypresswood store again. I have had the WORST experience with everyone trying to get my blinds. I paid for vertical blinds almost 2 weeks ago and it's been a nightmare. Went to pick up a week ago and they weren't ready. Then told that they were short a box and that they couldn't cut the 8' blinds, the installer has to. He doesnt have hlthe equipment! Quantez and i got into a,shouting match.basically not his job. He had to do things for "his" customers although none where in store. Promised to call, never has. Now no one answers the phone. Said missing box would be in Fri late. Its Tue night and nothing. Can't even find my order online! These blinds were an "in stock" order. The store manager had an i dont care attitude last week. He's over customer service, which also is unhelpful. SHOP ELSEWHERE!! Finally, the new emoloyee answered the phone after 4 tries and 30 rings, i recognized her voice from last week. Said shed call back but I'm doubtful!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, EVER.
