Today was a much better experience than the last time I was at Lowe's. I was able to find most things I needed, and when I couldn't there were staff that could direct me. I met an absolutely wonderful worker named Nancy in the indoor flower area. They had just gotten in a shipment of orchids, and she helped me find very healthy specimens. She was very instrumental in me buying way too many! Nancy is a true asset, and I will be looking for her and her help the next time I am in the store. Since the Lowe's opened at Fenton Gravois Bluff I have spent many thousands of dollars there. They will never get another dollar from me. There are other lawn, garden and hardware options. My wife and I purchased a washer and dryer Thursday. They said it would be delivered Saturday with us getting a call before they would arrive. At 8:04 am Saturday, no call, they were banging and ringing the door bell. If they had called, I would have been dress and have my wife's car out of the garage so they could access the laundry room just inside the entrance to the house. So they had to wait while did all of that. It went down hill from there. The next problem was they were not going to take the old washer and dryer with them. Once I said I would get the receipt showing I had paid for removal, all of a sudden, he saw the removal order. Then, they were just going to leave the new washer and dryer, boxed up in the garage. I said no, it is supposed be inside installed. I said I was 68 with arthritis and four days out from surgery and had no way to bring in myself. At least they brought in, denting the door with both old and new. But he would not install. He explained that since I had not bought the accessories, they would not install. No one explained that to me when I purchased. Our dryer vent and premium, metal, washer hoses were just fine. He also keep saying he did not work for Lowe's and was a third party. I explained to him he did work for Lowe's regardless if it was directly or third party. I called Lowe's customer service and got the same nonsense about the accessories. She would just record the complaint. No resolution. She was worthless. So now, my wife, who is a little older than me has to move both the washer and drying so I can get them set up. F Lowe's. Not another dime from me and I will tell my friends and family no more Lowe's gift cards for birthdays and Christmas. Hopefully, Ace, Home Depot and Walmart will not screw me as bad. read more

The salesman at the Fenton Lowe's was going to charge $643. for a Larson storm door that was on sale for $450. He said they could delivery it but didn't tell me it was $79. for delivery. And finally I used my Lowes card and should have received 5% off but instead he would gave me 12 months to pay which I have no use for. I told him' no, I want the 5%" but instead I got stuck with the 12 months. Lowes sure has gone down hill. Stay away from the window and door dept. Buyer beware!!! Terrible- absolutely the worst- purchased a fridge - paid for delivery and install- purchased everything I was told I needed to for the install. Delivery guys that came can't really do the install if it's anything other than what they are expecting, install guy ruined the waterline connection when removing from old fridge- messed up waterline connection and cut a piece off the old fridge so it wouldn't work correctly- left the water line rubber banded and leaking on the floor when they left- customer service was no help- absolutely terrible experience/ sitting here with old fridge that they made not work and leaking water line with the only way to stop it is to turn off water to whole house! read more

They have a decent selection of most things. I do always look online 1st and if I can I'll do in store pick up for the same day just to make sure I'll get it. Service can be hit and miss. Most days are good though. The price is comparable to other places around. read more

We ordered a dishwasher on Jan. 4th. The earliest installation available was Jan. 17th. Fine. On Jan.17th we sat around all day, finally getting a call from the installer at 3 pm saying he's on his way. He never shows up. We called customer service, they don't know what happened, but the earliest they can reschedule the installation is on Jan. 30th. Fine. On January 30th, after waiting around all morning/afternoon, we get a call from the installer asking US where the dishwasher is!!! I go down to the store they have no idea where it is or what happened. Customer service/installation on the phone has no idea where it is and then state the only way we can get the dishwasher is to come down and RE-ORDER the dishwasher and reschedule for a THIRD time our installation. People, , , don't try to buy an appliance from Lowe's in Fenton. We're going down to get now to get our refund. read more

Took a long time to find anyone to help search for an item. Asked for help from several associates. They could not find it, asked other workers to help and one guy was incredibly rude and put out by having to help a customer. After far too much time, the item was never found. Manager was incredibly dismissive. Staff was rude.Does Lowe's purposely hire people based on how much more complicated they can make a shopping trip? I hate to admit it, but I really do enjoy visiting Lowe's! It seems like every weekend there is something that we need for our house and Lowe's is where we can go to find just about anything we are looking for. I have purchased gardening items here and got really lucky with the plants I purchased back in May. The plants and shrubs looked good all summer long. I even purchased some mulch, lots of mulch from Lowe's and the guys in the garden center helped me to load my car. I was able to get about 8 bags of mulch in my car-who knew? Most recently, we were in need of new blinds for a few windows in our home. Lowe's sent out an "expert" in measuring windows so that we could have the exact measurements. A day later, we got a phone call from Art and I made my way to the window center in the store to talk with Art and begin selecting blinds. Who knew this would be such an intense process? There are so many types and styles of blinds. How does one know what to choose?!?! I was at a loss, but Art helped me and we made some decisions. I was probably asking too many questions, but he did a good job at pointing me in the right direction. He showed me a book for a brand of blinds and recommended that I go online to their website to order a few free swatches before committing to anything. While I was looking at styles and getting some ideas, Art did a few quotes for me so that I can have an idea of how much money I'd be spending. Once I was done taking notes and figuring out which swatches I would like to order, Art game me his cell number in case I need him and told me that once I was ready to oder he would be there to help me. What great guy! Thanks Art. Overall, Lowe's is my go to store for home improvement and I really do appreciate the customer service I have received from Art and from the many others who have helped me each time I have visited. I'm looking forward to ordering blinds soon. *If anyone has any tips of advice when selecting blinds; feel free to share. I am still at a complete loss. read more

I tried to purchase 2 appliances from Lowes. My service guy was very nice, however the process of ordering the appliances was brutal. The computer system did not work properly. I came back 3 times. I did have a contractor come out and measure. He recommended an appliance Lowes does not carry even though we had 3 picked out for the space. Once I finally did place my order and pay in full I waited for a call from installation. My appliances were in. No call. So. I call again to find out the installation put my install on HOLD because they did not order the appliance he wanted. Lowes emailed him 5 days ago -no answer. They called him - no answer and his machine was full of messages, so they could not leave a message. I tried calling the manager at Lowes no answer. It's impossible to do business with these people. I ended up getting a refund. Went to Lemcke's Appliances. Did the entire order in 5 minutes and got a much cheaper price for the same exact appliances! read more

In these times of not being able to find qualified people to do work in our home, we hired Lowes thinking a big company would be able to get it done. WRONG! After waiting the required months for 2 door installations, one came in the wrong size and now Lowes is telling us they cannot expedite another, but will take until September to get another one and who knows how much longer to get installed! And that's IF this one comes in right! ALSO they didn't have a proper threshold for the one & rigged something that doesn't look right AND after they left, the door wouldn't even lock!! We had the Fenton Lowe's give us a bid for facia, soffit and gutters, We had two other companies also give bid the job out and decided to go with Lowe's even though they weren't the cheapest but because we figured a corporate-based company would stand behind their work more so than a smaller company. We waited several months before they could start the work because 1. they didn't have some of the key pieces in stock and 2. They funneled all roof siding gutter facia soffit work through one small company that by the way has changed its business name from its original company name and does not have a working business number (unbeknownst to us at the time we chose Lowes) The day finally came for them to do the work and the company that Lowes had chosen to do the work claimed that the sales rep underbid the work by over $5000!!! Well who's problem is that! it shouldn't be ours!! The mistake should've been caught several months back and before the work was started!! The entire crew other than an occasional English speaking workmen did not speak one lick of English making it near impossible to communicate with them. The long and the short of it is they started the job but refused to finish the work unless we paid the additional 5000+ which we absolutely refused!! Employees either avoid eye-contact, or act as if you have the plague. It's bizarre. I had ordered a bathroom vanity, which the contractor picked up for me, and once the box was opened, we realized the surface had multiple scratches. The contractor ended up installing it so I could have a sink until i could see if Lowes would/could replace the top. I made multiple calls to Lowes, also went by there to see if I could get some resolution. Never once did I get a call back or get to speak to the manager. I have had a terrible experience with the Lowes in Fenton, and have had no support from the management team at Lowes. I ordered a custom exterior door from the Fenton Lowes store with Art, and the ETA for the door when I ordered in July was 30 days. Then each month the ETA for the door gets pushed back, and after multiple calls and no return calls, I finally got a confirmation that the door would be in on Nov. 3rd 2021. Art from Lowes even called me and personally let me know the door would be delivered to Lowes on Nov. 3rd. And I even talked to multiple managers and they assured me that the door would be delivered to Lowes in Fenton on Nov. 3rd, and continued to tell me to cancel my order if I did not like the ETA for the door. I even spoke to Tim on Nov. 3rd and he said, yes the door will be in today. Then at the end of the day on the 3rd Tim calls me and said the door in now delayed until Nov. 24th which is Thanksgiving, and he said he would have a manager call me concerning some sort of compensation for the $5000 customer door I ordered back in July. I have also spoke to several managers including the store manager John, and he told me I should just cancel the order and really did not seem concerned about my delay, and just said everything is delayed and it is not Lowes problem. I am beyond upset and frustrated with the way this situation has been handled and the lack of communication and continued misinformation. I have had no support from Lowes in Fenton, and I have had to make a ton of calls to get any sort of an update and no one ever calls me back. Not even managers when I am promised a call to discuss my delay. I am hoping someone from upper management over John at the Fenton location calls me to discuss this terrible customer service from Lowes in Fenton, since John does not seem to care about Lowes lying to me on multiple occasions about when this door will be completed. And I still do not have an ETA on my door and I cannot get Lowes to call me with an ETA or any sort of an update! My door finally came into Lowe's after 135 days of ordering, and had the install scheduled yesterday. Then the installer called and said the door was not built to install a storm door, which I also ordered from Lowes at the same time, and the door frame was only primed and not painted! My family and I frequent dislocation probably twice a week if not more. We recently purchased a home so we're always here getting things that we need. However, it seems as though Lowes is only hiring cranky old women for their checkout stands. Every single time we come here we get the nastiest attitudes from these old women. Went to buy a dishwasher on a Saturday evening when our very old one finally gave up. We wandered around the appliance aisle for a few minutes before anyone spoke to us, and the girl was polite and not pushy. When we thought we had it narrowed down, I asked her if there were any special offers or if she could do better on the price. She said that this was the first week in a while that they weren't on sale, but that they'd price match. My husband and I kept looking and started searching home depot's site for model numbers. A few more minutes went by as we walked back and forth between 3 or 4 different models, then the girl came back over and offered to price match for us on her computer. She wrote down the model numbers of the ones we were looking at and searched them on Home Depot, HHGregg, and Best Buy's sites. No luck - all were either the same price or more. We continued to debate which one to get while the girl helped another customer and returned to her computer. A few more minutes went by when she came over and told us she'd found one of the models we were looking for on Menard's site for $44 less and could honor that price. SWEET! This was really above and beyond in our book and we were thrilled to save so much. Combined with their free delivery and haul away, this was by far one of our best Lowe's experiences. read more

My husband got a Lowe's gift card for Christmas which is very nice but we currently are not in the middle of doing anything house related....NOTHING!..well these things just burn a hole in my pocket so I figured hey I will see what I can find. A friend of mine, which happened to be my boss, recommended I go to Lowes for my home improvement project..Up until now I've used RSI and DALCO. RSI came in way too high..Thank God I went to Lowes using the Fenton store. I spoke with Todd Feely... He was able to assist me with all my project needs. I knew I had made the right decision when he handed me a binder of my entire project everything in order; everything I wanted; names and phone numbers of everybody who would be working on it also. I am so pleased that I used Lowe's !!!!! Todd's attention to detail is what all of us need. These days we are all trying to save money in some way. I took my elderly dad to buy a DW on Monday...found one...confirmed it was in stock...bought it with the install package. was told installer would call within 24 hours to schedule...no call. i called on Wednesday and was told they have 24-48 hours to call but paperwork didn't go out until Tuesday so Tuesday doesn't count. it's now the end of Thursday and there's been no call. i'm on the phone with Lowe's now...they don't even know if the DW is in stock or not. I was scheduled to get my new washer and dryer delivered on Saturday. One person out of the crew they sent came in looked at the old washer and dryer and seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. They claimed I needed someone else to come unhook it and do the job. Thus my delivery was canceled and rescheduled for today. This morning got a call another sort of problem and said they would call and update. No call back today. When I called they were giving me a run around with different reasons why they didn't know it didn't come. They also are giving me three other delivery days and I didn't pick the other two. They need to work better on communication with their customers and getting the delivery out the next day at a time that works well with the customers if a problem came up the day of and including another day. They claim it's because of a third party company helping. They need to get rid of that company helping and do things that was working in the past or find a different company to help. I'm a frequent DIY-er so I have always went to Lowe's or Home Depot (as of now). I have had 2 very terrible experiences here one weekend after another. The first time I needed carpet padding cut and NOBODY would help but everyone sure would say "I'll go find someone for you"...that never came. So of course, I went to Home Depot and was helped quickly. The second trip was basically the same over in Hardware. Zero help but there are plenty of people working and "stocking" the same things for over 20 minutes. Bottom line here is that if you are a man then of course you'll get helped quickly but women are too much trouble to help because we don't know anything about a store like that I guess. read more

I purchased a storm door and installation from Fenton Lowe's. Worst experience I have ever had. They have been out 6 times and the door still does not latch and is crooked. Scheduling the 7th visit but I have no confidence in them getting it right. Neighbor had an issue with his door install also. I have spent countless hours on the phone trying to get this resolved. They do not call back when they say they will, ridiculous. Save your time and go with anyone else or do it yourself. read more

We took my son to a "build your own monster truck" event this store was advertising. We arrived only for them to tell us, we had to register online a week before. In fairness, the fine print of the poster did ask you to register, but it was difficult to see. There were several other families who arrived for the event and were also turned away. There were a few very disappointed kids. I hope they'll make the registration policy easier to see in the future. read more

There are a lot of things I've enjoyed about this store. However, the Timberline Potting Soil that I purchased earlier this week is of very poor quality. There is a lot of wood in it and when it dries in the pot, it creates a crust. A crust that needs to be broken up is not what you want for potting soil. They really need to double-check the quality on this product. read more

I ordered a freezer to be delivered. I was told on two separate phone calls that I would be contacted at 8:00 am to be given a 3 hour delivery window. At 10:00 am I called Lowes and I was informed that I would be called 1 hour before the truck will arrive. I explained to the girl that I was to be called and given a 3 hour window. She said she doesn't know how this works but that's what they tell her to tell the customers. I asked for a manager. The manager has no idea of delivery so I was transferred again. I spoke with the delivery manager Gregg who said. I think (I guess he can't be sure) that I am on the afternoon truck that might leave around 1:00pm. So unless you have a full day to sit and wait for Lowes, pick it up yourself. read more

Terrible customer service. We were remodeling a home that we recently purchased and were interested in putting in a hardwood laminate. We brought in both Home Depot and Lowes to provide a bid for the flooring. Each charged the same measuring charge $35. When out to measure both companies stated that due to issues with the subfloor we could not do a hardwood laminate but could do a 3/4in. nail down hardwood. Even though Lowes charged me the $35 to do the measurement and provide a bid for services they never followed through to give us an estimate. After multiple calls to the store and no resolution I eventually get a phone call from someone in their projects dept trying to sell me their services for other things as it was a renovation. I contacted Lowes corporate office and received a generic i'm sorry email from Joseph Bryce but no estimate or refund for that matter as we have since purchased the flooring from Home Depot. read more
