Visited this Lowes during my visit to Elverson, and this one is huge and got it all. I visited the garden section and well stocked with plants, I was looking for grapes, and they didn't carry it. The staff is friendly and will visit this place again. They do have a lot of items on clearance and sale. read more

Everything that I expected any store to be is what I found. It was clean.shelves were stocked and items were clearly marked. What is obvious is lack of management in the store I am handicapped and needed a microwave so I went to lowes and was really disappointed in the lack of management in the store. First off trying to get a employee who was clearly having a personal conversation with someone to just point me in the direction of where they were proved to be a problem. Once I picked it out there was NO ONE AROUND to help me load it on a cart..BTW I am disabled and had a service animal with me. Once I struggled with it I went to look for a toaster oven and the same girl having the conversation with a friend was clearly pissed that I dare to ask a question . So I went to check out and to my surprise there was one girl at returns who was busy and ZERO CASHIERS. it was all self check out. I was getting ready to leave the cart and a woman who was sitting down watching the self check out offered to help. If I'm going to pay full price why would I want to check myself out.......I asked to speak to a manager and was told that they both went to lunch together as they do EVERYDAY. like I said lack of management. Before I retired I was area director for 14 locations of a company and today's example that I experienced would result in both managers getting fired immediately. When no one is in charge of a store that big and the employees know it the results are what I experienced. In the future Home Depot will be the go to store. It is the same distance from me, they have the same items for the same prices and someone to cash me out and if there is any problem a manager is on duty any time the doors are open. read more

I've always had helpful associates and stuff in stock when I visit. The one older gentleman in the plumbing department really helped me out figuring what I needed to fix my problem, he saved me hundreds on a plumber. Also, they had multiple volunteers from their store help our community cleanup after a recent tornado. read more

Not too good. Missing many standard items. For example they don't sell hydrated lime anymore. The electrical section the worst. If you're a contractor go somewhere else. If you want a Christmas tree or overpriced lumber this is the place to go. Employee are inexperienced. read more

Went here to look to purchase a lawn mower. Decided on a particular mower with the help of David W. David mentioned about a Lowe's card to receive offers about future discounts similar to my Military discount. The worst experience ever! We ordered carpet for 4 bedrooms and 2 stairways. When it finally came in and was installed, the carpet installers took all of our left over carpet and we had a small hole in the carpet. We called Lowe's and went to the Lowe's numerous times to get it all fixed. We were told that I signed a paper saying that I didn't want the left over carpet. When I was shown the paper, my name was not spelled correctly, first or last and it wasn't the correct date! It was definitely forged! After 1 year we did get the hole fixed, but instead of replacing the entire section they only replaced a piece so now I have a seam at the top of my stairs. You can see all the seams! It looks awful! The carpet installers didn't clean up and didn't tell me they were leaving. They left my front door wide open and everything a mess! I reached out to the store manager but I have not received a response, of course. This was a very expensive project that looks horrible. I wish honestly that I could return the carpet and go elsewhere. Do not purchase carpet from this store. read more

I will drive 20 minutes away to Home Depot in Exeter before I ever step foot inside a Lowes again, especially the Morgantown PA Lowes. I was there looking for a heater, found one that I liked but I knew that another store had it cheaper. I asked not one, but two associates to see if it would be possible to get the lower price, and they both said "we'll go look it up on the computer, and then we'll talk to the manager." 10 minutes later I went looking for them, and were they looking it up? Nope. Were they talking to a manager for me? Nope. They were stocking shelves. You know what, Lowes, if you don't want my money, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SAY SO. read more

This Lowes is ridiculous. Nothing ever in stock, went for snowblower when it said 10 in stock. None were assembled mid September. Could not purchase. $1000.00 sale lost!! Instead employees were decorating for Halloween. Cannot continue to run a business like this. Also no heaters in stock in December. Go to Tractor Supply. Our family priced several contractors to renovate our kitchen. Lowe's of Morgantown was our first choice for the price point and quality. The kitchen turned out fabulous and the general contractors hired by Lowe's did a great job. The reason for the one star....poor customer service, poor communication and management. The wrong size sink cabinet was ordered and delivered. Upon their inspection when the cabinets were delivered to our house it was realized but Lowe's said nothing. It was a measuring/ordering mistake on their part which they admitted to. A temporary sink was necessary because the counter top would be a few more weeks until completed. So the wrong sized cabinet was temporarily installed so we could have a working sink until the project could be finished. At the time of removing the sink cabinet, the contractors told us it would be trashed. We asked them if we could repurpose it in our garage and they said that we could have it. We installed it in our garage for storage. Upon the final walk through, the project manager was shown the cabinet in the garage and said nothing. Until a few weeks later we got an email from her asking for money for the cabinet or to return the now damaged cabinet. In the end, we paid extra money for the repurposed cabinet that was going to be trashed anyway. We love our new kitchen but have a very bad taste in our mouths by how this very minor mistake was handled by the Lowe's project manager and management. read more

We bought a french door fridge from this Lowes and tried to have them deliver it. On the first delivery attempt, the fridge was scratched on both of the doors. We called and they said they would completely replace it. They said they would come between 1:30PM and 3:30 PM on Sunday. We were out of the house at 11AM on Sunday, when the delivery guy called and said he would be there in 2 minutes, so we talked to someone from lowes and told them that was not our delivery time and that we would still be expecting them to come at scheduled time. When we got home, we noticed a note in the door saying sorry we missed you, please call to reschedule(It wasn't even 1PM yet). So we called and they said they would be back between 4-6PM. Around 4:30PM, we got a call saying we didn't "confirm" that we would be there so they turned around...we already said we would be there and we never had to confirm like this in the previous attempts. So we called again and rescheduled for Tuesday afternoon(no specific time, I told them I would wait all afternoon). No one came...they said the fridge was put on the wrong truck for a Monday delivery(it was suppose to be Tuesday) and no one called to reschedule. They finally came back another day with a scratched fridge. The delivery guy continuously tried to get me to take it anyway saying, "It is a small scratch, call the manager and get 10% off, it is an hour to get to your home so I don't want to bring another one." Then he said, "I cannot delivery this fridge without a scratch, that is how it is manufactured." I just asked for my money back and we got it, but if they knew they didn't have the skills to deliver an unscratched fridge, why did they keep trying!? I got the same fridge from a Lowes in Lancaster, which they delivered without a scratch in my scheduled delivery time. I also thought it was rude that the delivery guys spoke Spanish to each other and only English when speaking to me. I took Spanish for 4 years, but I feel that when you are around customers, you need to speak their language so we know what is going on.
