I was also told months ago I would receive a call from their office with a quote for a custom door, but I never received the call. I don't know what has changed since my last experience, but something clearly has.The lack of responsiveness and follow-through has been incredibly frustrating. We had 5 rooms, a hallway and some stairs to carpet. Pandolfi Dante was a fairly long drive for us - about 40 minutes, but we found the staff very helpful and attentive. They listened to what they wanted and showed us the products that matched our needs. We priced out several products at their site and they had a salesperson come and measure. He was very pleasant and professional (unlike some of their competitors). To gauge price, we went to a local provider, Bob Wagner Flooring, in Downingtown, PA. We asked them for the exact same product as that which we had selected at Pandolfi with the exact measurements that we had received from Pandolfi. Bob Wagner quoted us almost double the price we got from Pandolfi and tried to upsell us on padding. Bob Wagner's included padding is 2lb - Pandolfi's is 6lb, so in order to get a true comparison we'd have had to upgrade the padding for additional cost over the already-high Bob Wagner price. Further, when the Bob Wagner salesperson saw our reaction to the price and the padding upsell, she told us that if we came in that weekend when they were having a sale, we might be able to get a better price and she could talk it over with her manager. Wow, I thought I was buying carpet, not a used car. Needless to say, we were turned off by Bob Wagner. Because we were having some additional work done by a paint contractor at the same time, we had some special scheduling needs and Pandolfi was flexible with us. Their installers on the 1st day left a bit to be desired but we asked them to change some things and they accommodated us. They also forgot their vacuum on the first day, and asked to use ours, clogging it. This chafed me but the salesperson was very apologetic when I called to complain and on the 2nd visit they had their own vacuum. All in all, I think they took a very "do the right thing" attitude and I'm willing to give them a pass on the vacuum for the $2500 I saved. I'd definitely use them again and have been recommending them to friends and family.

Keep an eye out for one of the guys that works there named Joe. He really knows his stuff. (I bet everyone who works there knows their stuff) The crazy thing is that I went in with a color in mind and he actually seem to of read my mind and showed me that color before I asked for it. Out of all of the colors in the world! I didn't feel pressured one way or the other but I felt secure. When I mentioned a friends dining room that was painted a shiny lacquer remembered the actual color. The people who are painting my cabinets will come in to the shop and work with him to get the right Sheen and equipment. I feel very confident working with Benjamin Moore paint. In Wayne. I know that the parking is not as ideal as some of the other paint stores in the area but it's worth it. Give Benjamin Moore a shot you will be happy. It's also worth noting that they carry very fancy British paint that would need an expert to administer. Someday I will have the best looking glossy front doors. For now I will stick to my cabinets.

When she brought it home, I saw the receipt and immediately noticed that it was sold at a price the was extraordinarily high. Like, REALLY high - even for Ben Moore. I went to verify my concern about what price point my mom was sold and a comparable item at HoPo was 1/4 the price. The price was especially high because she explained its use; to stain the wood legs on a new foot stool. Hardly a project that required a high end custom stain. When I went to the store the salesman was there and was open to discussing what happened for my mom that lead my mom to believe this high price was what was truly needed for her tiny project. The manager was present during the entire conversation with the employee and at one point jumped in and was immediately extremely assertive; exactly the opposite of the sales person. The manager was consistently denying any responsibility...even after his employee acknowledge he understood how it may have been confusing to my mom and apologized to me. All in front of the manager. Not the manager; he behaved in extreme opposition to the established sales philosophy of 'The customer is always right.' I am sure the store will object to my review for many reasons that are likely inaccurate...but if they do you will be best served to analyze if they are worthy of your business by looking at whatever retort they made but in the context of whether their rebuttal is still valid if the original sale was made as it should have been and supported by the employee as improper. There is no valid objection that could warrant this manager's behavior once the original error is consider as the cause...and all the negative treatment by the manager solely the effect which warrants this type of review. There are other options that are of equal quality and I would suggest looking into those options; I strongly advise to not shop at this particular Ben Moore if that is still your manufacturing preference. Other Ben Moore stores are also available for consideration. I hope this is useful to other shoppers.
