Unique plants difficult to find elsewhere

At this location, great restaurant attached to a store that sells wonderful plants, china, glassware, and related items. Upscale items that make your table settings and garden look over the top!

Note that this review is for the store only. The review for the cafe part of the business is separate. I love the vibe of this place. Kinda rustic, kinda vintage, kinda fresh, kinda hip. I love nature, so the displays gave me ALL the feels. Everything from plants to gardening supplies to home decor to hats to candles to salves and lotions. It's errrrrything to me. Do you think they'll notice if I just live here after hours when the store is closed? I promise to be very quiet.

Loved the nursery and store for a wide selection of unusual gifts and plants. Head over to the clearance section first then figure out your budget for the expensive but gorgeous home goods. The stars dropped off after the meal in the cafe. I chose the $18 crab quiche with "simply dressed greens." The quiche was the size of my palm. Make no mistake. You will not get a salad. You will get 8 leaves arranged around that adorable dainty portion. So don't arrive with a hearty appetite!

It's a very cute restaurant/ store / garden store, very aesthetically pleasing. We went for 2pm brunch (party of 4) on a chilly October Saturday. We sat outside and it eventually began to rain, we opened their umbrellas at first but they were able to accommodate us inside. Definitely need to make a reservation, they had mentioned sometimes they don't even take walk ins because it is so busy. It is a little pricey. Typical for $16-20 a dish. $4 and $5 drinks. We got a cheeseboard that was delicious and the server will explain each cheese. House made pickles were great. Everything there is farm to table, very veg forward. I got the heirloom shrimp and grits which was beautiful, but left me still hungry. Shockingly there were more shrimp than grits. Another member of my party got the harvest bowl and it was just a little dry for their liking even with a poached egg. I got their tea of the day which was hibiscus and awesome . Staff were all super friendly, helpful, and attentive. Awesome bread made in a terracotta pot, with house made rosemary butter

Lovely and huge garden nursery! They offer all kinds of plants and flowers. Variety of pots, cooking books. Staff are very helpful. Got almost 60% discount for my iris because the season is already done.

This is what I imagine Joanna Gaines makes Magnolia Farms look like. Everything here is pretty and IG worthy. In each direction you look there are plants, candles, home decor, and interesting items to look at. This is a good place to find a unique or beautifully packaged gift for someone. Yes, some items may be more expensive than what you can find online or at a local store, yet you're paying for the experience of shopping in a place that provides curated items for you to purchase. If seeing a package have words such as, "Crafted, Reserve, or Artisanal" bring you joy then this is the place for you. And if you don't want to spend money then that's ok too! People can still enjoy a nice stroll through the shop and garden to enjoy the asthetic.

Absolutely lovely. Great atmosphere. Beautiful and green with string lights. Lovely place to take pictures and their food is so fresh. Their bread in a pot is my favorite bread EVER. Their tea is served in a little tea pot (: Their food itself is great too One star less because their food is a little overpriced. Same with their plants which is always a little disappointing.

Always my go to for a plant I am looking for, whether in the garden or indoor plants they have everything. Their staff is always friendly and helpful so this is by far my favorite nursery. I have only been to eat there for brunch and it was equally great. Great service, great food, great place.

Just a forewarning that this review is going to be very long and detailed, so if you're only going to read one thing from my review, read this: THERE WAS A LIVE, SQUIRMY, MOVING WORM IN OUR FOOD, with NO REPLACEMENT OF FOOD, AND ONLY CREDITED $2 OFF OUR ~$150 BILL. YES, TWO WHOLE DOLLARS. Now, rewind. When I first walked into this place, I was hit with a wonderful aroma of pine trees mixed with lattes; this place looked, felt, and smelled wonderful. We were seated in a green-house like setting, with an urban yet natural decor. We were greeted with an attentive server for our brunch, and I'm thinking that this will be a 5 star place...then the food came out, and it went all downhill from there. Food was not on par with the venue - our omelettes and breakfast sandwiches were just above any ol' breakfast food. Still, because of the setting, I was still loving the place. BUT THEN! Out of my friend's $25 breakfast steak, she picked up one of her mushrooms/salad, and on it was LIVE WORM, SQUIRMING AWAY FOR FEAR OF BEING EATEN. We immediately called the server over, and kindly notified the him that there "was a little friend" in our food. His only response? "Oh, I wonder how that survived the oven." He took the mushroom and friend away - and said and did nothing else. SO, I guess the expectation is just to proceed to eat the contaminated plate of food?! Well, lucky for Terrain, my friend didn't seem to mind as much that there was just a LIVE WORM in her plate, and she continued to just eat around the salad/mushrooms where it was found. When the check came, we noticed they did not credit us anything at all for the fact that there was a LIVE worm. We called the server back over, and he brought over someone else, who I would assume was the manager. ALL she stated was, "I don't know how the worm survived the oven in 400 degree temperature." OKAY, is that all you guys care about?! It doesn't matter HOW the worm got there (for all we know you guys could've put the worm in there yourselves), but the point is there WAS A LIVE WORM IN THERE. Maybe they would've actually cared a bit if the worm actually died in the oven? She then let us know she would be giving our coffee and truffle oil ($7 total) for free. Gee, thanks for the generosity when you ruined a $25 plate. But after we paid the bill, we realized we were tricked and she actually had only taken off the $2 truffle oil! TWO DOLLARS OFF FOR A LIVE WORM, EVERYONE. And still, because we had a party of 6, our server, who handed us a live worm and no apology, still walked away with 20% tip. Thanks for being generous with yourselves while literally feeding your customers dirt.

The antique greenhouse is the way to go at Terrain. The greenhouse is beautifully decorated with pieces plucked from nature and random pieces of art . The organic menu changes with the cycle of the seasons using local produce, dairy and meats from trusted sources Seating is a bit tight here and you may have to endure the waitresses backside touching your table as she serves other customers as I did yesterday. Or you may experience a bit of traffic as waitstaff cuts through the space between tables to the main walkways. That is the only negative thing I can say and they may want to consider having them serve and walk only in aisles as this has been my experience every time I've dined here the last 4 years. Here, water is served without having to ask Nice. Meals at Terrain start with the bread in a flower pot and butter. Yesterday mine tasted as if it was infused with a cinnamon sugar. Yummy noises! Next up : Tomato soup which was thick and flavorful and adorned with fresh basil. I enjoyed it. Iced Tea was perfectly brewed and chilled. My entree was a huge burger encased in delectable cheese on a soft roll that included the sweetest, ripest tomato, romaine slice and an onion sauce. Divine! Handmade shoestring fries were the perfect side item. Come here and enjoy dining in a horticultural paradise
