I don't expect to be knocked off my socks when visiting home improvement stores, but I must say that this is one of the nicer Lowes that I have visited. This store is kept clean and organized, and I seem to be able to find things more quickly here. If I needed assistance, store attendants were easy to find and readily available to help with a friendly attitude. Another thing I noticed was how well stocked this Lowes seemed to be as well. A huge plus is that this store allows well-mannered and leashed dogs to shop in store with you. They even have a dog welcome table as you walk in with complimentary dog treats in a jar and a complied lot of suggested dog toys to purchase. I really enjoyed and appreciated the helpful and friendly service and the love they had towards our pup when we visited. Thank you! read more

Went to my neighborhood Lowes with my brother and was shocked at their active military/veteran discount policy. Turns out you have to register online, upload IDs, and create an account, which I'm sure you pay for when they send you 5 daily ads to your inbox. Then when you go to the store, they ask for phone number and IDs. He was told he can go to customer service for the discount but when we got there she didn't hesitate to immediately say "go online and create an account". Nothing else. Seemed very blunt and rude. If you want your discount go to Home Depot. Never a hassle and they're always super respectful to our veterans. read more

i purchase a garbage disposal. paid $130.00 to install. one installed can by and did not have the tools to install. i received a schedual appontment to install they never showed. i reschedualed and the never arrived. now they won't take the product back. store is filthy personel are rude and have no idea what they are doing. i shall not return read more

I ordered a refrigerator back in October which was supposed to come from warehouse. First delivery got canceled due to truck trouble. The second time they gave me a delivery time of 12-4, which I sat there in a house with no tv and no delivery and no call. I called and spoke to supervisor and she set up another delivery with a promise it would happen. Well, time was between 1:30-5; you guessed it, no delivery and no call. I canceled with my credit card. They have no respect for the customer; I would not order anything from them that comes from the warehouse! read more

The wife and I went to our local Lowe's a few weeks ago to shop for a new dryer. We go here a lot but this was the first time we came to shop for an appliance. We went during the week so it wasn't as busy and when we walked back there Mr. John Lord greeted us with a warm smile and allowed us to look. When we found ourselves stumped we asked him and he gave us the knowledge he had acquired throughout his 50 plus years. We made our decision and left extremely happy. Like the other guy reviewing this store, I prefer Lowes over other home improvement warehouses. They carry Dewalt, Irwin , and Kobalt tools which are about as good as Craftsman if you ask me. I always get great service when I come here and it easy to find someone willing to help you and they are usually knowledgeable. read more

They brag that they honor veterans and offer a 10 percent discount. But unlike Home Depot, you must first register, which allows them to blow up your inbox with unwanted emails. Then, every time you shop there, you must show them your ID card, then give them your phone number and finally show them your drivers license because you may be impersonating someone to get their made in China products. At Home Depot, you show them your ID card and then you're out the door. No nonsense, no 'it's for your protection' silliness. Lowe's has only one thing they are protecting and it's their profit margin. I've put up with their understaffed, uncaring sales peoole long enough. I will no longer give them any business. They do not deserve the support of veterans like myself. read more

I purchased online and picked up my items. They were incorrect when I got home. The next day I brought them back. The clerk told me I couldn't return because my credit card hadn't been debited and that I would have to come back. My wife brought the items back. They wouldn't give her anything but a gift card. So today I come on with the gift card they gave her for my purchase. The Assistant Store Manager happened to be the clerk. She wouldn't allow me to make a purchase with the card because it had been attached to her drivers license. I said call her and get her DL #. They don't do that. She said a complaint would do no good because she was the assistant store manager. Two months ago, I tried to buy a refrigerator, washer and dryer. They wouldn't deliver the refrigerator, so I spent $4,500 on the three appliances at Home Depot. Guess who gets my business going forward? Policies and service are horrendous! read more

We went to Lowes to purchase blinds and have them installed. We found the ones we wanted and sat at the desk near the carpet and pushed the button for help. Some lady in shorts with rolled up hem and tshirt walked past us and talked to another customer and said I don't know anything about this. She had no name tag or vest and acted like we should know she worked there. Later she told me that she had been there since Feb and was training in all depts & she wasn't going to where a vest until she knew all the storeShe said the lady in window treatments was covering paint dept and would be over and she left. We were there for 45 minutes with no assistance. We went to Home Depot & had everything taken care of in about 20 minutes. My family will not be shopping at Lowe's in the future. I am highly disappointed and aggravated with Lowes today. I came in at approximately 4:15 on April 22nd. I went to get a storm door with a retractable screen. After paging someone to milloworks and a TWENTY minute wait Chris from flooring comes over (and tries to be helpful as possible). He tries to retrieve a door with the ladder, realizes he cant then goes to get a machine, comes back and said machine battery is dead. Goes to find another machine but can't find the door that I'm looking for. We go to the computer which says the door is out of stock. He writes down the item number and sends me to customer service to order it. I reach customer service at 5:10. After Trish (also polite) could not find the door or price she has to call Chris from flooring 3 different times. I'm then told that if I have the door sent to my house there will be a $56 charge. So after all that I'm having it delivered to the stupid store and have to come back in 2 weeks to pick it up. The manager said that the color door I wanted wasn't on sale but since I've waited so long that he will just let me have the sale price..... I'm finally getting in my car st 5:40.
