Paid for a washer/dryer on 5/31. "We can deliver it tomorrow" said the salesman. We did not move in yet so requested 6/22. On 6/20, won't be in stock until 8/21 then 8/27 then 8/31. Called and cancelled. An unprofessional manager explained that it's first come first serve on delivery not payment. They sold my machines. Felt that my frustration was coming thru so I explained to this "manager" that I'm frustrated and not blaming her. I strive to be respectful to everyone. The customer asked when we could get a key made. The employee said "how would I know, I don't know everyone's schedule". Then two days ago they told me they would deliver my gas stove and microwave and have it installed. They charged me for it. When I did not hear from the installation contractor I called them and they said they can't come out until February 17. Lowe's lied to me. Then they said they can't refund my money. Bought a washer and dryer with expected 2 day delivery that turned into 3 weeks and tons of aggravation. Lowes outsources the delivery to a company called XDT. The are horrific to deal with - long waits on phone, with "not my job" call transfers, careless (damaged the washer on installation), improper stacking installation, bad attitude delivery guys (they had to come 4 times), etc. Lowes: wake up and get a new delivery company!! This store is a case study in how not to manage inventory. Nearly every time I go there, they are out of something I came to buy. Today I went to get a key made, buy replacements blinds for a window, and get a pane of glass. They were out of stock on the key blanks for my key, out of stock on the blinds I needed, and out of stock with the size glass I needed. This is typical of my experience at this store. Lowes is headquartered here in the Charlotte area, so I try to support the local economy as much as possible. I was dealing with Jessica (heavy set, and short hair) she was incredibly rude. I just needed some plumbers putty and a new disposal, but she was the only customer associate I could find in the area. She asked me more than once if I knew what I was doing or if I had someone else helping me. I didn't think that Lowe's home improvement would have someone especially female with that much internalized misogyny, and would make me, as a young woman, feel less than capable of taking care of my own house. I have a bad experience every time I come here, but tonight was the worst by far. I went to buy a freezer that I knew was in stock. There was only one employee working in the appliances department, and he was busy with customers. I waited around for around 25 minutes, and he never so much as acknowledged my existence. When the other customers left, he finally greeted me rudely. When I told him what I wanted to buy and gave him the item number, he kept grumbling about how it would be easier for me to go to another store. After going in the back for a 'few' minutes, he came back 15 minutes later with a box that was battered and ripped open and completely brushed off my request for a discount for the damaged product. At that point, I decided to take my business elsewhere. This location is the closest for me, but the convenience is not worth the cost of terrible customer service each visit. We are in the process of remodeling our house. We ordered custom Diamond cabinets from Lowes. We ordered them Jan 27th, 2022. We knew there would be a delay and finally got the delivery in May. Since then, we have been waiting on replacement cabinets that were damaged in shipping. It is now August 2022. We are not getting anywhere and at this point we wish we had never ordered cabinets from lowes. The store has no answers for our contractor and we are now receiving a phone call every two days from corporate and they still have not done anything. I would NEVER recommend ordering kitchen cabinets from Lowes. This is holding up our entire project and we may have to seek a lawyer. Hello friends, I go to this location because it's about 3 driving minutes away. I can't say there is anything that stands out from any other location. It's always clean,i guess that's something. Customer service can be hit or miss, but that's no different from any other business. My sister bought a new Range that was delivered....only to find out they delivered the wrong one. We drove back, spoke to the salesman that helped us out to begin with. After punching on the cpu for a while he said it was his mistake. (Kudos to him for owning up to it & not trying to be dismissive or blame someone else). Hey, people make mistakes, no problem. It's how you deal with it once it's brought to their attention.
