    how long you been here?

It's big, it's old-timey, it's full of all the stuff a hardware store should have and none of what it shouldn't. I am pretty sure Little has everything you need to start or finish any project at your home or business. yea turnbuckles! Was down town with a little time on my hands so I came in here for a little look-see. Wandered around for a bit headed back to plumbing and electrical, must have looked like I knew where I was going since nobody asked if I needed any assistance ;-) Got back up front and was looking around gas cans, mailboxes, leaf blowers, janitorial supplies, hand tools and during my voyages got asked if I needed help finding anything a couple of times, thanked them for the interest but I was looking 'at' stuff, not 'for' stuff. It's a good store especially for in town where space is at a premium. Tools and materials are laid out very well and thoughtfully organized but I've got about a hundred options between here and the house so unless I'm near here for something else I'll probably stick closer to home

Being in the Construction Industry I am always in & out of hardware stores. What I love about Little is, it's right next to uptown if I forget something I can just run right over. The store is also fairly large considering it is not a chain hard ware store. Steven helped me with some drywall anchors today. He is awesome! They worked well! There is also a food stand out front that sells hotdogs, and sausages (chips and soda add ons), and there is always a short line of 2-5 people!!! And his food grade is an A! Very convenient for the average construction worker!

NOT a Big Box store. Thank God!

Worst customer service I've seen in a while. Disappointing that I won't be recommending this place to my coworkers.

They even cut glass if you need a window pain . It's an older version of my childhood kinda folks. I love it they even wrapped the glass in brown paper bag material sold me everything I needed to put my window in myself and explained to me how to do it the older lady did I was very surprised by her and we talked minutes . They made me so comfortable the feeling was like family.. Oh and yes it's a family owned business. I'm looking forward to returning .. I learned how to save money and did the repair job on my window thanks to the knowledgeable lady the women that works there are phenomenal

The same fella greeted me and called me "boss man" about 30 times as we talked about various ant and beetle killers. Their selection is limited, but seemed to focus more on plumbing and gardening supplies than traditional hardware. Maybe that is the niche they have carved out to survive in. Now, Luke did leave something out. I suspect that he wanted to avoid being indelicate, but I think it bears mentioning. This friendly, helpful clerk patrolling the floors and calling everyone "boss man" looks indigent. He is scrawny, dirty, and missing all of his front teeth. Friendly as hell, but quite a sight. I'm only saying it so you aren't alarmed when he approaches you.

I started having a problem with the throttle control on the lawn vacuum engine. After a few phone calls to Home Depot and Agri-Fab I was referred to Faulk Brothers on Orr Rd, an AUTHORIZED Briggs and Stratton repair shop. A gentleman by the name of GERALD answered the phone. I explained to him that I recently purchased the machine and Agri-Fab referred me to Faulk Brothers for the repair. Before I could even get the words out of my mouth he said they ONLY REPAIR COMMERCIAL EQUIPMENT and referred me to another company, Lay of The Land. I called them. They wanted me to bring it in. I'm a partially disabled veteran and the machine weighs over 350 lbs. I called Home Depot back and explained my problem. I WAS NOT A HAPPY CAMPER! I told them I'd find a way to bring it back. Long story short, I wasn't A BIG LANDSCAPE COMPANY SO GERALD DIDN'T WANT TO BRING HIS LAZY BUTT OUT TO LOOK AT IT. I will say the next day he called AFTER Agri-Fab called him. He said he'd send someone out. I told him he must have lied to me the day before because I'm not a COMMERCIAL customer! Told him I'd figure something out and not to worry about it. Beware when you deal with Faulk Brothers. Especially, if you're THE LITTLE GUY!
