Spoke with both Rebecca and Holden by phone for scheduling and worked with the tech Trevor, for repair work. Trevor made several trips, and for (I think around $300.00) the washer was back up and running. Took less than a week for a new computer board but everything was explained to me well. Am relieved to have it back up and running since it's only a few years old (new from box store). Will definitely be using them in the future for any appliance repairs. Thanks for help :)

New, never used open box and scratch & dent on the main showroom floor.

Wow! This is a huge store. Much bigger inside than it looks, it's extremely neat, clean and very…read morebrightly lit. Not a place to shop with a migraine or hangover (neither of which I had). I walked in and was greeted in within seconds by a nice-appearing and very knowledgeable man, Tan, who proceeded to show me the dishwashers and range hoods I was looking for. Without even looking at the tags, he knew almost every model's decibel rating, features and color availability. That was very impressive, considering they had over 20 dishwashers on display. They carry low-end Amana, more well-known, better-rated brands such as Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, and Kitchenaid and higher-end Bosch. I had narrowed it down to one in particular, and Tan printed out my two favorites and attached his business card as I requested. I noticed that he's the assistant sales manager. That could explain (but not necessarily) why he was so familiar with all the different brands, different features and colors. Did I mention I was impressed? The only thing he had to look up on the computer was a particular model and color's delivery date. Next, I looked at range hoods, located in the very back (left) corner if the store. They have only about 8 choices. I easily narrowed it down to two, my favorite being an Italian brand, XO, followed very closely by USA-manufactured Broan. Both were close in price. Broan had halogen lights, which will get hot. XO had LED lights, and had a more sleek and slim design...but just a bit. The other Italian-made brand was also great, but expensive, and my contractor would have to remove some cabinets, so, not an option. They easily had over 30 refrigerators displayed, and at least as many stoves. They also sell wine refrigerators, garbage disposals, microwaves, and window air conditioners. To the left, just inside the door, there are some scratch and dent air conditioners and microwaves, all clearly marked. I asked Tan if there were any rebates on the two particular dishwashers I was interested in. He said unless I was a Fairport resident, no. I'm glad he was up on everything...no playing a frustrating game of "20 questions". I have no doubt he can go far in management. And I hope he does.

The convoluted paperwork for the rebates is time consuming and idiotic. Then you find out they are not rebates but vouchers that must be used in their store. Unfortunately, the amount is so small all you can buy is nickel and dime products like cleaning products. Of course they don't have the products in stock. So they have to order them. After waiting over two months they call and say they're here and "we need you to pick them up asap" because they need the space. So lo and behold when I get there they don't have everything. But, will contact me when the rest of the stuff shows up. It has now been 6-months and they haven't contacted me. I sent two emails to Jason and he responded with "I'll check." Needless to say he didn't.

This store had the worse customer service I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. We went to purchase a John Deere lawn mower. We purchased it and left to get a trailer. I asked the woman to please take it outside so we could just load it up when we returned the store. Nope, they couldn't even do that. I had to hunt down a person who could push it outside for me. We finally get it home and it won't start, the battery is dead. I called the store to talk to a manager and 4 times I called and asked to speak to one, I got hung up on. I understand that Covid19 has made some businesses have some issues, but Lowes has been in full swing the whole time the rest of the world has been in lock down. You would think they would have it down pat and be able to give top notch customer service. They don't. They seem to walk around the store in a haze, not know what the other one is doing. I am just disgusted with Lowes. read more

Lowes Brockport: August 15th we purchased a high-end dryer and NEW electrical cord (required for installation). We were told that it wouldn't be delivered until the 31st On the evening of the 30th., I realized that Lowes of Brockport hadn't contacted us to let us know about a delivery time. I seem to recall that when it was set up, the they told us early morning. By lunch time, and no call or no show, I called the store and was told that it would take place between 2-6. Great. So we've been waiting all day and now all afternoon. Poor communication. Poor service. I dread the install. If it's problematic, Brockport Lowes better be prepared to deal with it before the end of the day. read more

I had an entire kitchen quoted and ended up only pulling the trigger on just an oven. I'm now very glad I didn't buy the rest from them. First, we discussed in the showroom about the struggle of delivery we had in the past, so I know for a fact we discussed delivery terms with the sales women. Fast forward to today our oven gets delivered at 7am (were told between 8 and 10) and the guy says he doesn't go inside houses. How exactly are you supposed to offer delivery and not go in the house? He ends up dropping it at our back step outside and its supposed to rain today. So now we both have to take time off work and struggle moving this oven by ourselves before it downpours. We called and got forwarded to about 5 different people, only to be told there's nothing they could do. I brought up the fact that this is definitely something we discussed at our appointment to which I was dismissed and told "that's just their policy". I find that asinine, god for bid they had an elderly customer... How does a company selling appliances have that type of policy? With an upcoming remodel, they lost out on a good opportunity. I will never buy from them again, and I would NOT recommend them to anyone.
