Very piss poor customer service it seems no wants to help you find an item or items when you ask them for assistance. I was in line to check out when it was my turn to check out I was immediately met with "I'm closed can't you see my light is off" is this how customer service is these days?!?! VERY poor customer service. We came in two hours before closing, we started to check out 10 minutes before closing with a big purchase. There were two employees doing something at the cash register, we asked if they could open the big sliding door so we could start loading the trucks, the women with brown hair and glasses (think she could be a manager, not sure) told us she would so we waited and asked again thinking maybe she didn't know what we were talking about and she said yes I will open it but I need to finish this first. So I started to walk over to open it myself and she just widened her eyes and jerked her head back with nasty attitude. Then it took us a while to load some stuff as they brought everything over in carts instead of pallets so we had to get it back on the pallets and wrapped. The older bald man( also think it was a manager) then told us we couldn't use a pallets because it was $14 and he was just super disrespectful. Don't bother calling them they are useless. First you can't get a real person in the department you want to talk to. If you get a person they just transfer you and then no one picks up. Talked to the same guy who transferred me 3 times but I couldn't even get my question out of my mouth before he would transfer me again. Wish I could give zero stars. read more

2020, Lowes use to take payments to account within 24-48 hours maximum online, before their company went to hell in 2019. Now they wont take payment for over a darn week!!! Company now plays games with accepting online payments which causes havoc with your checking account balances. Constantly playing games week to week with crap company on just getting them to take a payment is horrendous! Then they are SO malicious they reject a payment because they failed to accept it, and send nasty notices to Experian credit agency. Very vindictive company. Horrible company to do business with!!! 2020, I always pay off the promotional balances (you pay no interest, just principle, but the interest does accumulates separately and if the principle is not paid off before their 6/12/18/24 month terms, Lowe's rolls all this together and you then have to pay the interest too) so I never get hit with all that huge interest. 03/2020 I pre-paid off several promotional balances, prior to getting hit with all that accrued interest over $3000, per Lowe's Terms. 5 Days later Lowe's cancelled my 15 year old credit account that was in great standing, because I am not the 'right' type of card holder they want. They want these promotional balances to accumulate interest and fully come due at the end, so you get hit with all that interest. If you pay them off early and do not get hit with all that interest that Lowe's was gambling on getting, you become a under-valued credit card holder, and they WILL cancel your account! 2019 saw them fire nearly everyone from management on down! Utterly cleaned house including District and Regional Managers! They shut down the help areas, by the Nut and bolt areas, tell you to use a kiosk for keys now. Customer service has really gone out the door! All new people trying to learn their new jobs, and utterly no one there with the knowledge to teach, as they fired anyone whom knew the positions in the first place. They now even have contractor parking at/in-front of the doors entrance. Which now you have every jackass in town parking and blocking the entrances to the stores---Which is a local and state code violation. Hence, the people calling the shots, now that they fired everyone, are legally utterly clueless (upper management down to the store level). Lowe's has been getting sued repeated for decades (search online if you want to see this!) They have gotten themselves in such hot water with basic laws and legal requirements its astounding they are still around. The firings this past year were likely a cost cutting measure to pay lawsuits. But now that they have hired a tremendously unskilled workforce, this can only seem to get worse??? 2020, Those very few that have been there for years, seem to know their stuff very well. Great experience with experienced seasoned staffers. Not so much with the new help. read more

Went to return a cash purchased item today. I had one this previously in the beginning of February, and have probably spent $3K at this store. Today I was told I cannot return an item without the receipt, not even receive store credit. When I spoke to the manager, Mary, this was her brilliant response. "well it has always been a policy but we never enforced it" I replied if it has never been enforced then it was never a policy and you should've posted it or made customers aware during purchase.So it has never been a policy. Mary again replied "yeah we just never enforced it but ti has always been policy" THEN IT NEVER WAS A POLICY. I will take my business to Home Depot read more

Employees are not willing to assist customers. They stand around chatting and totally ignore you. I always have to load my own lumber. I learned to keep gloves in the truck, after getting splinters numerous times. They'll even see you loading, and walk away as fast as they can. I just won't shop here anymore. read more
