My husband and I visit this Lowes location often and we've had several great experiences. It's clean, conveniently located, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. The ONLY REASON I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that th self check outs do not accept digital gift cards. The only registers open are on the far right side by lumber and customer service so we usually have to walk across the store to check out and then outside we have to walk across the parking lot to get back to our car. Rating from F to A +++ the store and employees get an A+++ and the ease of checking out gets a C.

    Sloppy, sloppy caulking.

My daughter recently purchased a home with massive problems, and as a result, I have spent tens of thousands on repairs, including a considerable sum to Lowes in Apopka, FL. From flooring to doors to baseboards to appliances and blinds and thousands in plumbing fixtures and lighting, I used Lowes as my one-stop-shop. Let me start with the flooring debacle. The vinyl planking itself is lovely. The new baseboards (throughout the entire house) should not have been that complicated. My complaint is two-fold. First with the salesperson Jimmy, who redid the contract 3 times and continued to charge us more money after the contract was signed. I paid twice but refused the third time. He seemed confused about the math and ordered the incorrect quantity. My second flooring problem was with the installers, Keller Interiors. The job was left in various stages, requiring scores of phone calls and personal visits to the store. Trash was left. We had to call. Some of the baseboards were not replaced. The caulking was atrocious. The transitions were not completed. It was a disaster from start to finish. I stopped calling because I had simply had enough. The baseboard caulking remains sloppy. We purchased several appliances. The washer was not connected correctly, requiring more calls and another repair person. The dishwasher was broken and it took a couple weeks to get another. We finally had an appointment but the installer cancelled at the last minute. The repairman who came did end up being quite competent. The blinds were done correctly but the installers tried to come before the store got the blinds in. More calls. The guy who installed them was the best of all the installation people we had in the home. Plus, he was extremely considerate. And there then was an exterior door that took well over 2 months. The contract was redone (I never found out why) and the permit wasn't applied for and it went on and on. I called. I visited. I asked for Rudy the manager but was not allowed to speak to him (he never reached out to me after being told he would call). The door was unceremoniously dropped in the middle of the garage over a month before the permit was secured. I had to call to have the store remove the door until it could be installed. Why was a permit even required when the regulating authority doesn't even come out to check the work? The permit was over $300! Or was it $400? Did I mention that I purchased a couple thousand dollars worth of plumbing and lighting fixtures? Thankfully we hired our own excellent plumber and handyman. The house still needs new windows. Guess where I will NOT be buying them from? Lowes has decent products but the installers are, well . . .

Came here to pick up a refrigerator for my dad - it was the only location that had it in stock. Very quick and easy process to order and set up the delivery. Refrigerator was delivered as promised and earlier than the time it was promised. Helps also that the refrigerator was also $150 cheaper than the other big box hardware store.

Lowe's has got to be my favorite store for all my home project needs. I hardly ever go to Home Depot because Lowe's has everything. I know where everything is by heart and the staff are friendly and helpful. You can't beat Lowe's for prices, 'how to' project books, in-store classes and supplies. Being a home owner, this is the place for me.

Completely disgusted with my experience with Lee's Tree…read more We went there to purchase two Foxtail Palm trees and agreed to pay nearly $900 for delivery and installation through the owner, Brent, who was very pleasant during the sales process. While ordering, we specifically explained that we were replacing two dead palm trees that had died during the freeze. At no point were we told there would be additional tree removal fees. It's not even listed on the order statement. The day of delivery and installation, we were suddenly informed about these extra charges. When I questioned it, I was met by a very condescending employee, which completely changed the experience. Because of the unprofessional way the situation was handled, they ended up losing a nearly $900 sale over what could have easily been communicated upfront. What makes this even more frustrating is that we originally purchased the same palm trees from them years ago. At that time, they delivered, installed, and even removed two oak trees without charging any separate "tree removal fee." Good customer service starts with transparency and professionalism, and unfortunately this experience had neither. Amazing way to lose a $900 sale over a petty, undisclosed tree removal fee.

There is a plethora of beautiful options to procure from this nursery. Whether you have an idea in mind or need a little inspiration, Lee's will have everything you need. Give this place a try, I am sure you won't be disappointed. The quality of their plants and the customer service has made us life long customers. Just a quick tip though, the parking area is pretty tight in the front. It is along a very busy road. Make sure you don't accidentally jump the curb:) I almost did:) We ended up getting some foxtail ferns and some soil. Very happy with our purchase and will definitely be back for more. Thank you Lee's for great experience!

If you're thinking about going, they are celebrating their 7th anniversary with all kinds of deals through MAY 25! The first standout is the customer service. I received help from Blaine (sp?) today. He is knowledgeable, honest, and easy to talk to. I needed help repotting an orchid. First, I couldn't believe how affordable it was - only $8. Blaine handled my plant with care and explained every step he took, going into detail of why he trimmed certain things, explaining the moss that it needs, and gave me instructions for a watering schedule. He clearly knows his stuff so I also got his advice for my plant purchases as well! I bought 2 cute plants with pots for my patio. Blaine even potted those too. Beyond the service, there was an array of plants and pots in a variety of price points. What also drew me is that there is a diverse collection of popular plants but also rare ones too and they all are grown locally at the BWH Greenhouse in Apopka, FL. The shopping experience is also delightful as there are 2 comfy leather couches to sit - it made the space feel so inviting. I saw several people stop to chat with coffees while I was there. The corner shop seems to have made the most of every square foot. Besides the plant-lined space, and in addition to the cozy couches, there was also a work station for the repotting, and an event room with a large table. Jungle Room by BWH Plant is not only a plant shop, but has community-building experiences too. They offer a variety of reoccurring events and workshops like BINGO, paint your pet, making terrariums... I can't wait to start attending! Location is excellent in The Drive, the main street for shopping and dining in College Park. There is plenty of free street parking in the area around Jungle Room. Note that they are closed on Mondays. Open 12pm-7pm Tues-Weds, 10am-8pm Thurs-Sat, and 10am-5pm Sun.

The Jungle Room is such a cute little find! I loved that…read morethey have a whole workshop area where they offer pottery classes for all ages. I haven't taken a class yet, but seeing the setup definitely made me want to schedule one and give it a try. It looks like such a fun activity for all ages. The place itself is super cute and cozy, and they have so many different plants that you can buy for your home or really any setting. There's also an entire wall that is perfect for taking cute pictures, which I obviously had to check out. I'll definitely be coming back, especially to try one of their pottery classes. If you're in the area, they're located in College Park along the Drive, right next to the record store. Definitely check them out.
