I spec'd out datacenter grade CAT6A and associated components. Brian's work is very high quality and he was very flexible and always listened to exactly what I wanted. And trust me, I was VERY specific, as I'm an IT Pro/Blogger. I'm VERY hard to please, and I was very happy with the work. I wanted my wiring closet to look like a work of art, and it does! While I connected and labeled the patch cables myself, his home run keystone runs were exceptionally tidy. I would hire him in a second for any future drops.

We have a decent sized house, and the Internet wasn't working consistently to all areas for a few years. The first tech who came out, was here for at least 6 hours and could not figure out what the problem was. The second company I hired, charged me a fee to come out and take a look. He was here for about 15-20 minutes and told me I needed to upgraded my equipment and charged me $200. He said there was something unplugged, which there wasn't. After he left the Internet was still not working properly. I found Simply Wired on Yelp, and boy am I happy camper. He came out for a free consultation, sent me a quote within a few days and a list of equipment I needed to purchase (my old equipment was a few years old and I just wanted to start new anyways). After receiving all the items, Brian came out and set it all up. My 'wire closet' or whatever it's called was so messy and full of old wiring and equipment that we couldn't even close the door. Not only can we close it now, but it looks amazing. He also used some of my old equipment to help boost the signal in certain areas. After the install, I had a couple of questions, texted him and he immediately responded. Brian is professional, reasonably priced, has great communication and smart! Don't hesitate to hire him. I only wish I found him sooner!

The previous owner said to just call Chad and he would get me fixed up with the Crestron App and all the needed codes and passwords. I reached out to Chad since I wanted 3 TVs installed and controlled by the Crestron system and I wanted a new Crestron remote for the family room. He was so busy it took a long time for him to respond. From start to finish, the service was abysmal. I had to wait days, sometimes even a week, just to get a simple reply. This kind of delay is unacceptable, especially in a business that relies on timely communication. It felt like he couldn't care less about my business, resolving my issues or answering my questions. The owner, Chad, comes off as arrogant and dismissive, which only adds to the frustration. Instead of addressing my concerns, he brushed them off and made me feel like my business was not valued. I absolutely do not recommend using Audiothority. Save yourself the headache and find a company that actually values its customers and provides the service they promise. You don't want to install a system in your house and then wait weeks if service is needed (and service is ALWAYS needed after the installation).

I do not recommend…read more We used this service for the 3 year contract we signed up with. I was a bit hesitant at first as the owner was a bit opinionated. Service seemed like it was OK, but seemed very glitchy. Used low grade equipment, like Ecolink wireless contacts which are not reliable. They go directly to malfunction when they have a low battery rather than show the low battery among other issues. Honeywell Vista panel, kind of junk and not every good. The main panel is fine and smoke/motion seem ok. But for over $800+ in equipment and install. I think we got ripped. App they use sucks! Glitchy! Fast forward 3 years. New house, decided to have Dana move the Equipment. He stated we could not move the equipment to the new home. I said to myself, that's a bunch of BS. I paid for it, it is coming. He said no, gave me some BS and I decided not to fight it. So he made us buy new equipment. This is not proprietary equipment. We did not rent the equipment, we bought it. Only the Cell device in it we leased and I think now that is where he took us! Clever scam. But too late for me. So Dana installed in our new location. Be aware he talks a lot during install and takes longer than needed. All seemed to be working fine. This was March 2025. 1 year later I have not bothered Dana for anything. Nothing. We noticed several times the alarm was set off and we did not get any calls, or if we did it was 1-3hrs later to check. For us this was not right. My wife was not keen on keeping the service with this guy, she just did not like the service or dealing with Dana. So we texted him and emailed him politely to cancel the service. At this time we cancelled we also installed new windows as well. Some of the sensors were not working. I called Dana for some help while we still have our service active why the sensors do not work. I fixed all the sensors and everything was OK. So, I told Dana he did not need to come out and fix it and charge us $125 service fee. All is fine and at that moment, I said to him we will maintain the service as long as we can test the service to see if the monitoring service he uses will call us. I tested twice with no calls, one for over a 1 minute of the alarm going off before resetting it. Dana claims there is a buffer. He said he will remove it. I said, why is there a buffer, 30 sec sure, but I can assure you and I told him I told him about this problem before where the alarm was triggered for way over 1 min and no one calls. He did nothing about it then and we still have the problem. Anyway, Dana stated he will remove the buffer. I said fine but let's test the response time and if OK we can maintain the service. I was about the hang up and Dana thought he hung up but he did not. He stated to the person that was next to him, that "Jesus Christ this guy is a pain in the ass". I said, "Dana, you did not hang up. So I am a pain in the ass huh?" Then Dana goes on whole insane Ad Hominem Rant. How I am above everyone else and that he is sure no one has ever told me that I think I am above everyone. Etc.... Lots and lots of insults for no reason whatsoever other than he got caught talking bad about a customer. Anyway, I laughed at the end of his speech and said, "whatever Dana". That was my response, nothing more. Then he promptly sent a text and email cancelling our Service April 30th. "that is final". I was nothing but nice to this clown and he did the whole flip out and flip the blame to tactic. Ran out with his tail tucked. Good for us, now we will have a service that is done well, monitored well and has higher end equipment and thank the stars I never ever have to deal with Dana again in my house, on the phone or for any other reason! I highly suggest looking elsewhere, he is cheap, cheap for a reason!!!

I thought the work they did was amazing and when we needed repair for another door issue + new installation on a security door, it was a no brainer to call DSR. I was very very VERY wrong. I called DSR on March 22, 2018. They came out the very next day to come and inspect 1. the new installation work to be done for 2 of our company locations & 2. the repair on the front door of our company. Ultimately we were unable to get work done for the 2 security doors (they let us know on the 28th when I called to ask). I was under the impression that they came out and fixed the issue on the 22nd that we were having with our front door. Closing manager on March 31, 2018 told me otherwise. I called immediately this morning asking about when the quote was going to be coming. Very nice office lady Michelle told me that she would have to gather more information on what is going on. She calls me later in the afternoon to let me know that she will put us on the list for urgent repair and would hopefully like to have a tech come out tomorrow. I let her know that even Wednesday would be fine. Michelle calls me back 30 something minutes later to let me know the following: 1. DSR is scheduled out 2 weeks 2. We should get someone else to repair the door 3. They are not currently taking new customers because of the heavy workload. But they came out to see us because we are a current customer. 4. Some parts for the repair was not on hand (completely new information that I have never even heard of at this point) I let Michelle know that I would like to talk to her supervisor in regards to this situation and it has nothing to do with her customer service but this current situation that we were in. She said that the supervisor's name is Micheal and she will leave him a message to call me back. Mike calls back 10 something minutes later. I explain to him the situation and what happened a that we should still be prioritized to get scheduled or squeezed in. After kindly listening to everything that I had to say, here is his response in a nut shell: "Well there is one information that you have right there. Which was that we failed to send you an update about the technician's visit. Aside from that, we came out the following day and we fulfilled what we were supposed to do. You could have called us about the repair from the 22nd after on, but you chose to wait till now to call us. Communication goes both ways. I admitted my wrong but you should have called to get an update. Why is it that you thought that the door was repaired?" and he went on about how the tech would have left a piece of paper. The tech simply told our manager that he will contact Mimi. I am Mimi. I did not get any contact. I asked to speak to a supervisor so that we can work this out together. But I guess the solution is to speak condescendingly to customers and make they take the blame since the only thing they did wrong was not contacting us. I asked him what was wrong with the door and got a description and nonetheless I thanked him for calling me back and hung up. I am and will be shook indefinitely. Overall this was not the call that I thought I was going to have with the supervisor... but oh well...Well this was fun to read wasn't it?
