Some of the cameras are at 12 FPS, and I cannot adjust to a faster speed. Suggestion: Go to Best Buy and tell them what you are looking for. Another option is to go online. This is three years in the making. I tried. This business is the bottom of the barrel. I would rather give a 0 rating. The owner, Ronny, knew I was not satisfied, but he did nothing unless I forked over another $89. Whatever he says in response to this review, I'm not buying. I'm a senior. This guy duped me. Chad and Pete ran wiring for me for 12 security cameras and they did an excellent job. They ran…read moreextra cable for future use where I wanted it, helped me tidy up a lot of messy wiring that was around, and did a nice job using existing can lights so the only holes that had to be cut were in the garage. They were the third low voltage/security camera company I called in Las Vegas, which I found by looking at Yelp reviews. The first company said that they don't really recommend IP cameras, which is insane. The second company said that they only do jobs where they provide the cameras, they don't work with customer provided cameras. Smart Tech was the third I called, and they came out and did a long walkthrough/discussion of the job and provided a free estimate. I think the biggest reason to recommend them is because of all the finishing details they did on all the different aspects of the project. They cut a hole in the garage for access, but they let me give them dimensions for an access panel that I would order and cover the hole with, so I didn't just have a random sized hole to deal with. They terminated all the ends of some extra ethernet cable that wasn't going to be immediately used, they ran extra cable, and a bunch of other miscellaneous extras that really improved the end result over what I would have gotten from another installer.

These guys are grifters through and through. Their M.O. is to up charge just because the don't like dealing with a specific customer, and they aren't even coy about it. Here's how that went down. I called and asked for an estimate to get a single cable of CAT5 pulled through EXISTING conduit from my office to a data room a few units over. 250ft in cat 5 is needed, as shown in their own original estimate. The conduit ALREADY HAD FISH TAPE IN IT, but I wasn't there to do it my self as I am out of state, so I decided to give them a go. The estimate comes back for $700.00. mind you, nothing is itemized, explained, and there is a vague "ADMIN FEE" listed but doesn't specify how much of the $700 invoice this makes up. Being that I work for a business, there's a lot of red tape to get projects and expenses like this approved, so I ask on the phone about what the admin fee is and the charged amount for this fee. I get sternly told that its for paperwork and doing a "site walk" and that it was $160. Seems steep but ok. I get this charge approved as I really just need the work done, but by now its been over 5 days and the original estimate has expired. Then I get a text message from them at 7pm on a Tuesday (first day back after a 3-day holiday weekend) stating that quote has expired and I told them I could pay immediately and that it just got approved, to which the response is "we will call for payment details". As you can guess, nobody ever called, in fact, all I got was an email with a newer, more expensive and even more vague total of $750.00. now i need to look unprofessional in front of MY superiors and try to explain why the mysterious charge went up $50 more, when I couldn't even explain the initial charge to begin with. I get told by K and B that this is "an updated admin fee". When I ask why? nothing.. I'm sorry, you're telling me that you increased the charge by 30% to $210 total for paperwork and site walk when literally nothing has changed regarding the scope of work, no other site walk was done, and no paperwork has been filed yet? That's a hard no from me. If anyone needs any other assurance that these guys are scammers and crooks, see the photos I've attached that detail everything I've typed here in proof. Please save your money, time and headache and go somewhere else, these people have clearly been inconvenienced by not receiving immediate payment and needing to send one more email, and tried to upcharge an already ridiculous "admin fee" of $160 to $210 with no rationale. I've seen "Nigerian princes" in my email inbox try harder to get money off of people for nothing in return. K and B is shameful and I hope this review keeps anyone else from going through what Vincent and I went through. Take your money elsewhere, these guys are crooks and don't even try to hide it.

I am writing to express my outrage regarding the service provided by AceComm. My internet service…read morewas working perfectly fine before your team came out to upgrade a line. Instead of improving my setup, they cut my working line and clogged the existing conduit so badly that a completely new line now has to be trenched in. As a result, I was left without internet service, which is absolutely unacceptable, especially since I run my business from home, and reliable internet is vital to my operations. Not only did AceComm cause this issue, but your team walked away without providing any solutions, leaving me to deal with the fallout. I have to coordinate with my HOA, Landscaping and permits from the city to trench the new line. I have since been informed that resolving this issue could take up to 30 days through Cox, 30 days without internet access caused by AceComm's negligence. To make matters worse, AceComm has offered zero assistance in fixing the problem they created. This level of incompetence and disregard for customers is absolutely unprofessional. I am in real estate and keep a vendor list so I will let all my colleges know the complete mess I've been left with due to AceComm!

Nick said he will have the programmer take a look and then he would get back to us in about a week and a half. It is now August 30th, and despite many reminders and follow ups, we still do not have a quote. In one of my last emails to Nick I said "So we don't know if this will take days, weeks or months?" and Nick's response was "Unfortunately, I don't know for sure". Is this on Nick? Probably not as he said he was following up with his programmer. So, who is responsible for providing customers with good customer service? And why couldn't we get an estimated time frame? If you don't even know if it will take days, weeks or months then there is a problem with company processes.
