Went here with my boyfriend as a beginner couple looking to spice up our time in the bedroom. The selection was definitely spurious but the staff was a different story. The girl working there had black and red hair, didn't catch her name though. She only checked in once which was ok. But her energy and the way she was asking us if we needed help just felt like it was forced and if we had said "yes we need help" she seemed like she would be very annoyed. We ended up purchasing a couple things but I wanted to come back for one more thing and so I came in alone and when I went to the counter she asked If i had cleaner for my items and when I was going to ask her if a certain type of soap would be ok she cut me off not even 3 words in and said "your body your choice you can use whatever you want". Incredibly rude service. If you're gonna work at a sex shop you should be able to have genuine and kind conversations with people ESPECIALLY first timers. My husband and I walked in and were immediately greeted and assisted, and were told about some of the good deals that they had for the day. They helped us out with making our selection by visually showing us some of the items they had on display. And when looking at something they didn't, remained clean by taking out of the package with gloves. You can tell cleanliness is a top priority for them and it's shown throughout the store as well. They have a very limited selection of bondage gear however - masks, whips, canes, collars - but you can normally get those online as well. Prices are competitive and comparable (surprisingly) to what I can find online. The staff at this location were very welcoming and helpful. I asked for assistance twice on where to locate certain products and rather than point me towards the direction, they walked me to the general vicinity. I had a Yelp coupon (YAY Yelp) and the clerk was happy to apply that to my purchase. First off, the location is a bit easy to miss - especially if Beach Blvd is crowded and you can't drive slow. It's between Slater and Talbert, on the RIGHT HAND side of the road - next to the Power Nutrition shop. It's okay if you miss the ConRev driveway, since the rear of all the shops on the right hand side are actually kinda connected to each other, so you can get to CR through the back alley - or just turn right on Ronald Drive and LEFT onto the alley. There are tons of parking spaces in the rear vs. the two up front. Honestly, if I had more time, I could see myself spending a bit more checking the rest of what this little shop has to offer, but I wanted to get my stuff and get out before the evening crowd arrived. If you join their Preferred Customer program, you can get 10% off your purchase (I think, ask for details since I could only use either the Yelp special or join their program for 10% off - Yelp special was larger discount).
