Great experience at Bra Garden. I've been twice now and both time the staff is friendly and helpful. The first time I went they did a free fitting to find me the perfect size, and they kept the bras that I purchased on file so when I returned I was able to have them lookup up what I previously purchased. I love having quality bras and after getting the correct size I feel so much more comfortable after a long day having had the right support. Brought my MIL for a fitting;she is about 11 months post mastectomy. Although the hours open are limited, it was worth making an appointment for a fitting. The previous fitting through the hospital was fine. I wasn't in attendance, however, she did purchase an appropriate bra. After having lived with & used that bra & insert, we felt a proper fitting was needed. The owner was VERY helpful. Stated having surgical staff experience. With the concerns of breast cancer behind her, she was able to discuss what type of bra she previously used (racer back w/ front closure). The hospital issued bra was...ugly. Seemed old fashioned(?). With the lady's assistance, her issue of tight non-adjustable straps, foam unweighted prosthesis "floating" were all addressed. She explained why all this was happening. Plus, the bra fitting post surgery is just too "new". Only recovering from surgery 3 weeks or so, radiation therapy pending. Your mind is just not in a good place yet. Coming to this pretty shop, lots of pretty lingerie (not for post mastectomy but still nice to see). With a compassionate understanding lady helping you. This shop TOTALLY works. read more

So many people take for granted being able to walk into any standard bra store and purchase one! Unfortunately I am not able to do this due to my smaller waste and much larger cup size. When my favorite bra store in LA closed I was so sad because I didn't think I would be able to find another store for my needs. I found out about Bra Garden through Yelp when I was trying to find somewhere to get sized/fitted since I hadn't been sized in a long time and I was sure I was wearing the wrong size (turns out I was way off ) I called to make an appointment for my boyfriends mom and I on Friday afternoon for the following day. The person I spoke to on the phone was so polite and we scheduled the appointment for the next day at 2 and 2:30. We arrived a little earlier than our appointment but decided to just check in and they were so accommodating telling us that we could start the fitting right away. We met the owner Windy and she was training someone new so she asked if I'd be comfortable having her in the room as well and I of course said it was no problem! As I mentioned previously I haven't gotten a fitting done in quite a while and this isn't like the traditional just measure over your shirt, Windy really took her time to measure and give pointers about how to wear the bras correctly as well as ask if I needed bras for a certain occasion or just every day wear. She really made me feel comfortable as our appointment went on. Not only that, she also hand picks bras for you to try on so you aren't having to look through inventory yourself. She provided me with 5 different options and all of them worked out great! I ended up choosing 2 bras and put the other 3 on my wishlist. They can create a wishlist in their system for you so you can come back for anything you didn't take at the time! The 2 bras that I got will last me for a while and for the price, I couldn't beat it! This was my first experience getting a bra fitting outside of Victoria's Secret. I didn't have an appointment but they saw me almost right away on a weekend. They actually had band sizes under a 32! I don't have a lot of chest but they still pulled a lot of options for me. I can't remember the name of the employee who helped me but the women were all so friendly there. I appreciated how they asked if I was comfortable showing my bare chest to them, and they respected when I said no. This is the place to go if you're looking for quality pieces, even if they are not $15 bras their prices are pretty close to what you'd find at a department store. The customer service with these ladies is amazing! We actually went as a walk-in needing measurements for a bride to be. These ladies did not have the appointment available, however they managed to squeeze us in anyway. The bride to be needed a strapless and just the correct bra size in general. She not only got the correct bra she needed for her wedding gown but went ahead and picked up more bras. Theses ladies were so sweet, helpful and informative all together. When we were leaving, Wendy was giving out hugs and I was heading out the door, I ran back just to get a hug. Very personable people, reliable, and have what you need on top of the best customer service. I wasn't getting service but was so impressed I had to leave a great review. I've been a customer of Bra Garden for nearly 10 years; and have always been grateful for the wonderful staff, inventory, and customer service. However, I recently found out the business sold and is under new management. While I am so happy for their previous owner Kathy (she was a literal lifesaver and I will forever be grateful for all of her help over the years!), I was not as impressed with the new staff. For example, at my most recent visit, one of the fitter's used a tape measure (Kathy fit by eye), and tried to tell me I needed a 36 band and a different cup (I'm a 32-and the last time I wore a 36 I ended up with welts since it was the wrong band size). When I explained she was incorrect; the fitter didn't believe me until I showed her the bra I was wearing (which Kathy had fit me just months again- a 32. The bra was fine; just old and stretched out). I have been bra fitted at other stores as well; and they always confirmed the same size (or relative size) to what Kathy fit me in. My concern moving forward for Bra Garden is the quality of fittings, as well as their lower stock in the larger cup sizes. While it's nice to know this store still carries my size, it's frustrating when there is only one or two in stock that I can wear or try on. It was also frustrating when I appeared more knowledgeable about how a bra should fit than the fitter herself (then again, I learned from the best). I'll definitely try again, but this was not the same store that I've come to love (even driving over 1.5 hours just to shop); especially as a longtime customer. read more

Most recently she fitted me for a bra style to support my back shoulders and limited mobility and pain as the result of an incident that happened during a radiation verification session. The reason I give them a 1 star is for their "NO RETURN" policy. I bought a bra there and I did try it on and it appeared to fit. When I got home to Arizona and tried it on again and as soon as I moved, my breasts fell out. This was a $68.00 bra and I didn't know of their policy, so I contacted them about mailing the bra back for a refund. That's when I was informed about their NO RETURN policy. That ticked me off to say the least. I cannot wear this bra, ever. To me, $68.00 for a bra is a lot of money, but the Bra Garden is the only place I can find my size. I cannot believe that they don't allow returns. Just be aware of this policy before you go there and make sure the bra fits you when you bend over or move. read more

When you are in your 40s you feel like you should've mastered this by now but alas the selection on women's bras are still not where they should be even though it's 2023. The shop is not much to look at from the outside but inside you'll find kindness, professionalism and quality selection. I was rushed during my fitting... and if you are at all a private person who doesn't want someone in the room while you are undressed, this isn't the place. The salesperson/ownwe will be watching you like a hawk when you are naked and exposed. Maybe they have had issues with theft, but I would prefer not to have someone literally staring at my bare body while I tried on items. I also do not need someone else to dress me. There is also not enough selection in the store. They never said this to me prior to my purchase, but all bras are final sale even if they do not actually work for you. It was also not posted (unless inconspicuously), but they write it on the receipt AFTER your purchase. I had been to the prior location and dealt with the prior owner in the past. Lesson learned. I will not return. Go to Nordstrom instead. Edited to add: As for arriving 20 minutes late, that's untrue. I was only 10 minutes late and had called 20 minutes PRIOR to the appointment time to state that I had to drive home and change because I had just had a hot tea spilt all over me at Starbucks. Apparently, they do not answer their phone or listen to their voicemail, but I also explained this when I arrived. Regardless of being late, they could have problem-solved. It didn't help that the next customer arrived 15 minutes early. If they really wanted a loyal customer, they could have asked if I could return at a later time or reschedule. I had also asked for specifics upon booking to help and explained my medical needs, but it seemed as if they had nothing in my size that met that so they tried to just make due with what they had to try and sell it to me. I had high hopes for this place. I'm a bigger person but my cup size is average, so I had called ahead to ensure they have larger band sizes, they do but it's definitely very limited in that department. I asked for Bras with thinner straps, or a push up cup, and was told they didn't offer that in my band size. This seemed a bit weird, since again, I thought they were specialist, but I continued on. I was sized and the salesperson was super friendly and SEEMED knowledgeable. I tried on a few Bras, and found a couple I thought seemed to fit. They do roll up on me, and the straps fall often but I was assured it was the right size and since these are "specialists" I really put my trust in them. I even placed an order for more. Unfortunately, the bad part is ever since I purchased these, my bras are CONSTANTLY rolling up in the back, and sliding off my shoulders and there is just no way this could be the right size. So now I'm left with multiple Bras in the wrong size that I'm constantly adjusting and uncomfortable in and are NOT flattering. I feel like not only did I waste my money, but my time too. Please I beg you guys just let people know you can't accommodate them first before trying to convince us we're being crammed into the right size. It's very disappointing. read more

They also have a HUGE range of bras, I read on the website that they have 28-56 band and AA-O cup...that's insane!! AMAZING! I had an appt and was a little late but she was incredibly kind and told me to take my time. The store is cute, clean, and organized. Kathy is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She measured me and brought me several options to try on. She helped me adjust the straps and explained how the bra should fit, the benefits of certain styles etc. I was so used to the dept store clerks where they measure you and then you are on your own. Don't be shy you will need to try on several bras and she will help you adjust from the back and teach you how to look for bras that will compliment your size and keep things in place. I'm a plus size and left with 1 sports bra and 2 beautiful bras and some detergent to delicately wash my new items. I'm pretty excited to call her back for more colors once I take the ones I bought for a test drive. No hard pressure sales, very knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly helpful. I read about the Bra Garden in an LA Times article entitled "Where to buy a bra in L.A. that actually fits" and let me tell you, they were right about this place. After suffering for several months in bras that once fit properly but had stretched out over time, I made an appointment online and was helped by Windy the owner. She listened to my needs, measured me, then brought in several options over the course of my half hour appointment. With a large chest, my options are often limited, but Windy has a nice selection and the last bra I tried on fit so well that I wore it out of the store. Windy is very kind, professional, and knows what she is doing, and same goes for her staff. The store is comfortable and its prices are reasonable - certainly more expensive than Target, but on par with Macy's and Nordstrom for better quality and customer service.
