For a walk-in, the service was pretty quick, which I definitely appreciated. Ryan did my nails and did a great job he really mimicked the picture I showed him for inspiration and paid close attention to the details. I was happy with how everything turned out. We were also offered waters, and masks were provided upon request, which was a thoughtful and appreciated touch. As a birthday bonus, they gave me a discount, which was so nice. I also got to spin a fun lottery wheel for a chance to win a Louis Vuitton bag (no luck there ), but I still received an additional percentage off both my mom's and my services. She was able to achieve the exact look I wanted (exaggerated sides instead of straight across) and literally had me in and out within 40 minutes. I will say the salon is older and could use some renovations and some cleaning (soap dispenser nozzle was moldy, work station was stained with polish and needed dusting). The last time I was here, the nail tech (don't remember her name, but she was an older lady) was upset that I changed my mind about having a pedicure. I came in saying that I only wanted my hands done, then I changed my mind and wanted my toes done. She talked about me in front of me to another nail tech, emphasizing that she was upset that I had changed my mind. This Thursday (2/6/25), I came in for a refill and gel color change on toes. I asked the nail tech if he could make my nails shorter, to which he responded "you should've told me earlier." I also am unsure of his name, but he was a younger man. She wasn't rude or trying to get me out of the door. She was truly trying to help me and make sure that I was happy at the end .She was super sweet about the whole process. Mia at table 10 did my powder nails for me yesterday and i was unhappy from the get go. There were chips at the corners on the insides of the nails (hopefully you can see it in the pictures) and when i pointed it out to her she said it was because she "couldn't go all the way to my skin" whatever that means and if it makes sense to anyone please explain it to me. I also asked her about the black stuff all over my skin & cuticles and she said it would go away after a couple of hand washes... here I am after having cooked and done plenty of dishes and my skin still looks the same. This was my first time getting my nails done after having spent 5 years in prison and I am very disappointed. $55 Down the drain because I most definitely will be going elsewhere to try and fix them. They don't look anything like they should and Mia as a professional knows this, i shouldn't have to point it out to her. Im not the type to leave a bad review but I'm pissed. I'm really disappointed and upset with the service that was provided to me I paid $80 for acrylic gel refill 2 days ago and the color is already chipping. The girl who did my nails sits at table #10 Also the girl that did my nails did not remove the dead skin/cuticle around my nails and when I mentioned it said that's $15 extra!?!? Like wtf are these people on..... then I asked her to please cut around to remove some of the skin and she cut me.... my only compliment is she is did my design well and did drew clean lines on my nails. However she had a huge attitude and proceeded to speak in another language anytime I mentioned anything and that is completely unacceptable especially when I was being extremely nice and patient. Like excuse you are performing a service on me therefore you need to keep me happy and satisfied as the customer. I am paying for a service so I better have it done right now I want. How dare she get upset and then have the audacity to talk in another language. Like why are you being so shy??? Say it to my face in English my love!:). The older lady who did my pedicure was very sweet and took her time and removed all my dead skin and made sure I was happy. Moral of the story be humble and attentive to the customers. First time getting my nails done here. First off I paid $96 PLUS $10 tip and one of my nails fell off in 2 days then the rest kept falling off less than a week from getting it done. When I went to tell them to fix it they tried charging me $15 to fix THEIR mistake, then they began negotiating prices to fix it ofc some of them stared in annoyance. When I walked in this morning it was quite busy and I was thinking it must be good. Ha! First off, I agree with a previous review that said this place is filthy. There is no towel placed on the table top. Well, I take it back, there was actually a stained one but that was removed and the manicure was done on the table top. The young man who did my nails picked up his supplies from the floor. Maybe I could have overlooked that if I received a good manicure but it's probably the worst I've had in my life. There was no cutting of cuticles, no lotion on the hands, just a quick slab of nail polish (see photo). Everyone that works there appears to be Asian and there is certainly nothing wrong with that. However I could not understand what the manicurist was saying to me. It sounded like he was saying "medicare." WTH? I asked him to please repeat his question as I didn't understand and I still heard "medicare." I gave up. My 7 year old granddaughter could have given me a better manicure. read more
