My nails from Elite spa, Thanh Le was the woman who did my nails. She left them so sharp I scratched my friend and myself multiple times. I had to go straight home and file them as much as I could. I asked for rounded and she said I do it squared everyone loves squared, obviously I didn't. Not to mention she clumped up every other nail with dip. I didn't want to get these done in the first place but my friends convinced me, I put five photos of my nails and one singular of the one I wanted. This place is horrible. My 13-year-old daughter went to get her nails done, not only did they cause her pain they messed up all the nails and refused to give us a refund. My wife had to fix her nails when she got home. They actually said, " if you fix them then I don't know why you're on the phone with me anymore." and hung up. Elite nails is conveniently located in the Pembroke commons plaza (off university and Pines). They offer everything from manicures and pedicures to eye brow threading and eyelash extensions. They are little above average on their prices because they are a bigger spa with more openings so there's rarely a wait time , however it would be wise to make an appointment especially if you are coming on the weekend. I've been here well over 10 times for multiple services and I have to say their service is very inconsistent. The front desk staff is friendly sometimes but rude sometimes as well. One thing that I do like is that they have the widest variety of pedicures offered in comparison to other nail spas. If your not so focused on customer service and you just want to get in and get out I'd recommend it but if customer service is your main pet peeve you may not enjoy it as much. Worst customer service ever! Took my 16 years old to get a full set gel manicure, she had an apt at 10:30, the nail techs was late so we asked to have someone else do her nails. She was sent to another tech( a male) how starting ripping her old acrylic off instead of soaking and using buffing machine. After ripping her nails off he told her to go back up front to wait again for someone else. He then immediately invited another person of Caucasian race to come and take the seat instead. The front desk did nothing to help with the situation. If I wasn't in the middle of getting my gel done, I would have left immediately. I had to ask several times to get someone to help her. Finally the tech completed my nails and assisted my daughter. I spoke to management only to get excuses for the bad service. This was my go to nail salon but after that experience, I know I am only person and that will not affect Elite Nail salon but I will not be returning. EVER.
