This review is from my mom:…read more On June 24, 2021, I tripped over an empty paint bucket coming into a dark house from the garage which was also dark. This situation caused me to fall on my right hip breaking the very top of my hip. Surgery for a new hip replacement was necessary. I was kept in the hospital after surgery overnight. The next day I was transported to a recovery center for care and therapy. I had no idea how long I would be there. I was dischaged on September 19th. I was in a panic, "who will take care of my babies?" It happens that I have a contact that works at PET PARADISE located at 1675 W Happy Valley in Phoenix, AZ. She suggested they could board there, and would have the best care ever. I was reluctant because I was not sure how they would react around other dogs because they had very little contact with others. Besides, I thought they would be so sad missing me as I missed them. Well, that was not the case. I could sign in on my cell phone and watch them in certain areas. I could not believe how they interacted with the other dogs. They were playing and wrestling with the others. It was necessary for them to stay there from June 24 to Sept 19 when I was discharged from the care center. Because I could not visit them, I was totally amazed at the great care and attention from employees that cared for my babies. I do not know names of employees because I never had the opportunity to meet them, but I can say they are all GREAT CARING EMPLOYEES THAT LOVE THEIR JOB AND THE ANIMALS LEFT IN THEIR CARE FOR WHATEVER REASON. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PET PARADISE LOCATION TO ANYONE IN NEED OF CARE FOR YOUR DOG!!! They are also available for other pets. BIRD (my nickname)

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Pet Paradise. I dropped my dog, Samson,…read moreoff on Wednesday, February 25th, for a stay until Sunday, March 1st. After arriving at our destination, we received a missed call. When my husband called back, he was told that Samson had attacked another dog completely unprovoked, would no longer be allowed in group play, and would require one-on-one sessions at an additional $20 per day. When I called to get clarification, I spoke with Savannah Solomon, the regional manager, and her behavior was completely unacceptable. She was extremely rude, dismissive, and lacked any empathy whatsoever. Her tone made it feel as though my concerns about my dog's well-being were an inconvenience. As someone who works in customer service, I understand how to handle difficult conversations and this was handled terribly. What concerned me most was knowing that someone who spoke to me with such coldness and hostility was involved in overseeing my dog's care while I was out of state. It made me genuinely anxious about leaving Samson there. Instead of reassuring me, she made the situation worse. I spent the first half of my vacation extremely worried that my dog would be judged, neglected, or treated differently because of how she characterized him. Savannah claimed Samson was "nippy" and stated he would never be allowed back into group play with no discussion of reevaluation, training options, or probationary return. However, when my husband reviewed the footage with another representative, it showed the other dog was nipping and harassing multiple dogs in camp. Samson appeared to have had enough and jumped toward the dog, but he did not pin the dog down as we were initially told, and he showed no aggression toward staff when separated. He was not acting aggressively. I understand that dogs will be dogs, and normal play can escalate. If Samson had been placed in a temporary timeout, that would have been reasonable. But a permanent ban from camp play along with additional daily fees felt excessive and unfair. Thankfully, when I called back the following day, Olivia was kind, professional, and reassuring. She made me feel much more comfortable about Samson's care. Unfortunately, the way Savannah handled the situation left a lasting negative impression. Because of this experience, I will not be returning.

For dog sitting, in our home, we've used Michelle several times now and she is great. Our 3 dogs love her and she clearly loves them too. We have 2 Great Danes and Beagle/Boston Terrier mix who are getting up there in age. Our male Great Dane has a number of health issues and Michelle handles it all so well. There's a laundry list of medications for the dogs and she does a great job keeping up with it all. She doesn't mind when I'm that helicopter dog mom and I check too often on my sick boy. Regardless of his illness, Michelle sends many pictures and text updates on how things are going with all the dogs. As a very protective momma, I trust Michelle completely with my furbabies and home. We love having Michelle take care of our babies... so much so that when we were planning the August trip we just completed, she wasn't available on our original dates, so we moved our trip to make sure she was available. I appreciate the freedom Kristie and Michelle offer us to get away several times a year. I completely trust them. Give them a shot!

I was referred to this business by a local Boston Terrier Facebook group. Their reviews were…read morestellar, so I reached out to them. I needed to board my pup while I went on vacation and passed their initial free assessment and complementary play date, filed his health records with them etc. A week later I dropped him off for his week of boarding. When I arrived home I quickly dropped off my luggage and immediately went to pick him up. Once I arrived, excited to see my little dude they brought him out. He was not himself. Not excited, and lethargic. I figured he was just tired from his week of playing with other pups. As soon as I put him in my car he fell asleep, and once home he did the same thing, which for a 6-month-old Boston Terrier is unheard of. The following day was the same, I chalked it up as he must have had a great time playing and was still exhausted. The next day he was extremely ill, coughing, diarrhea and weak so I rushed him to the Vet. Their diagnosis was an upper respiratory infection a fever and Kennel cough. My pup is completely vaccinated and was perfectly healthy when dropped off. I understand things happen, but this was infuriating to me. When I picked him up I was curious why he was just handed to me and shuffled me out the door, now I understand why. That same attitude was received when I called to inform them of his condition. The young lady just said "I'll tell the owner and hung up" and that was it. I wanted to like this place, but on top of their boarding fees, I now have medical bills due to their facility and lack of action when he was clearly sick while there, due to an illness he contracted while there, and hopefully, he recovers soon. The photo attached is him once loaded in the car after picking him up. Clearly not a 6 mo old Boston excited to see me after a week away. I am beside myself, and angry to say the least.

I did a search online looking for a local dog daycare for my mom's German Shepherd. This was the…read moreclosest one I could find to her. It's located in Peoria, AZ which is northwest of Phoenix. It is near Bell Road and the 101 making it accessible for people like me traveling from nearby cities. The facility is in an industrial type zone. The building is sort of a large warehouse that is shared by several businesses. The backside has large garage type doors. I only know this because Google Maps led me to the back (south side) of the building initially. The map has been updated to hopefully prevent others from getting lost looking for the entrance which is on the northeast corner of the building. Every Doggie Has Its Daycare has applications online that you can download, print, and complete. The information provided online makes it easy for you to prepare for your first appointment. You'll need the latest copy of your dog's vaccination records including Bordetella. Plus, you will need the paperwork showing that your pet was spayed or neutered. Even though my dog has a tattoo indicating that she was spayed, the paperwork was required. I appreciate that the business has high standards and requests these records. It lets me know that patrons of the business care for their dogs and that my dog will be in a healthy and safe environment. Before allowing your dog to use their services, you will need to schedule a free, 3-hour temperament test. This allows the staff to assess your dog's energy level and comparability with other dogs. Based on this, your dog will be paired accordingly for future play groups. Please note, some dog breeds are not allowed due to insurance policies of the business. While the facility does not offer a webcam remotely or on site, the staff do actively take and post photos of the dogs on the business Instagram and Facebook pages. They post pictures pretty much every hour and try to capture every new dog entering the facility during that hour. Once your paperwork is in order, the temperament test has been completed, and your dog has been approved for services, you can start bringing them to daycare or make appointments for boarding services. Daycare doesn't require advanced bookings. I love that you can bring your dogs in and drop them off at the spur of the moment for a half or full day of play. This is so convenient for those days when you have extra work or maybe aren't feeling well enough to give your dog the exercise and attention he or she needs. My dog needs socialization on a weekly basis. She hangs out with humans daily all day, but benefits from the play and mental stimulation she gets from daycare. She always comes home relaxed and tired from her time at the facility. The facility is temperature controlled so your dog can safely enjoy play during the hot summer and cooler winter days. They do have access to an outdoor area too. It has high walls, so there is no chance of escape. You can pre-purchase packages of half day or full day passes to daycare. So far, I have just been paying as I go which is also acceptable. It's about a $40 saving if you buy the package, but you have to use it within 90 days. They take all credit cards. It's important to note that late pickups will be charged $1 per minute! That's a good incentive to make sure you arrive before they close at 7pm during the weekdays to collect your dog from daycare. I've booked a boarding reservation during the holidays. There is a deposit required during this time period because of the increased demand for services. They ask that you bring your dog's food measured out for each meal in ziplock bags. They provide everything else your dog needs for the overnight stay, but you are welcome to bring your dog's bed or blanket that provides familiar smells and will help your dog adjust easier. Also included in boarding is daycare. There is no extra charge for this ensuring your dog gets lots of exercise during the day so she can get a good night of sleep too. I'm delighted that I found this business. The staff have been super friendly in-person and on the phone. Their website has detailed information so you can get your questions answered, but call or stop by if you need additional information. I'm certain you will get the details you need and feel assured in your decision to leave your furry family member in their care.

I could not figure out why nothing was working. A colleagusuggested that I try a dog trainer named Bob Solomini that he had used in the past. His passion and confidence in Bob convinced me and even though I was very skeptical and worn out I decided to give it one last try. I am excited to tell you about my invaluable experience and what I learned from it: -my dog was only a small part of the problem, but the majority of the behavioral problems stemmed from me. Dogs aren't born knowing how to behave the way humans would like them to, so we as responsible dog owners need to teach them. -we don't automatically realize what we are doing wrong and unless a true professional who really cares can teach us the correct way we can't be sure that we will ultimately have a happy relationship with our pet. -after four years of pulling my hair out and stressful walks with my dog I wound up moving to a new neighborhood, and my dog was totally out of control when I walked him. When he saw people with dogs, he went crazy and I could not stop him from barking and pulling. In fact, he pulled me down a couple of times where I sprained my ankle and another time where I hurt my knee. In fact, most of my neighbors walked the other way when they saw us and complained about my dog's bad behavior. After the first lesson, I immediately knew that I had found something different. Humane, focused,, professional, and results driven. I am so lucky that I found all American K-9 and especially Bob Solomini. I love walking my dog now, and all of my neighbors have praised the incredible transformation that they see. This was literally a life-changing experience for my dog and for me. I am so thankful that I found somebody that really knows what they're doing and really cares -not only is Bob a great person, but also the Best dog trainer that I have ever met. I highly recommend this trainer and business to anyone who is serious about having a great dog!

My dogs, Buster and Rocky, had an amazing boarding stay over the July 4th weekend. The team--Melissa, Liz, Paityn, Taylor, and Brenna--were truly outstanding. They were personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making both me and my pups feel completely at ease. I really appreciated that while they offered some fantastic add-on services, there was absolutely no sales pressure. I chose a few extras, and I'm so glad I did. My lab mix got the detangler shampoo and the FURminator brush, and he came home like a different dog--smooth, handsome, and no more hair flying everywhere! The staff coordinated everything beautifully, scheduling baths on pick-up day, along with nail trims and ear cleaning. They even included snuggles, photos, report cards, and provided a webcam so I could check in while I was away. The attention to detail and level of care truly made this feel like a top-tier pet resort--but at very affordable prices. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow for both doggie daycare and boarding. The one-stop convenience and time savings alone are worth it, but the peace of mind knowing my dogs were so well cared for is priceless. We'll definitely be back!
