He provided me with specific instructions and he was able to get everything working again all via FaceTime. HE DIDNT CHARGE ME ANYTHING! He was sympathetic to my time critical situation, and he genuinely wanted to be helpful. He would not accept any money despite my insistence. You just don't see this type of authentic integrity anymore. Excellent work ethic, extremely knowledgeable, quick response, and he didn't feel right charging me simply because he wasn't there in person. The FaceTime instruction was extremely educational and his thorough step-by-step guidance was spot on. He was very patient with me. Other companies said it would be $475 just to come out and take a look. This is the only company I will use for all my future pool service needs. Hard to find people like Rod these days. That said, I don't know if it is the lack of consideration and budget from the HOA or the lack of particular expertise and knowledge of the on-site technicians -- but our pool has gone from crystal clear blue to green algae bloom toxicity. The technicians have been asked on-site to scrub and vacuum - -and we were told, that's not my job. So I guess in our case, the pool is not quite so brilliant. Maricopa Environmental Services even came out and said that while the PH and chlorine are satisfactory, anyone could get sick or infected from the algae and mold that is not scrubbed. Hopefully they will do better or recommend to the HOA a better servicing. Aint NO ONE wanna get into that pool....look at the photos. Hopefully Brilliant Pools can help make our pool brilliant again. The pump had failed two weeks prior, and my replacement was still out on a scenic tour of Route 66. Austin notified the scheduling dept of the en route pump and they were ready to install it when it arrived. The pump arrived at 7pm last night and by 7 am today, Raymond had it installed, he replaced the water leveler and within 30 minutes the pool was up and running. Thank you Raymond !!! There was a small opening so a desert rat made a nest into the unit. Anthony fixed the first error, cleaned out the nest and helped to cover the openings so that hopefully it won't be able to get back inside. While we were talking over the repairs he realized that the heater stopped working again and found a new error code. Thankfully he had the part necessary to do that repair and we tried to use the heater again and it worked. Overall, I would say that he was very knowledgeable about our entire pool equipment issue and was upfront with the repairs and potential pitfalls of repairing an older unit. Hopefully the repair lasts a couple of seasons!

During their visit, I was informed that a $5 plastic basket needed replacement which they charge $35; however, no mention was made of a leak in my pool heating system. When I later asked the technician to inspect the heating system issue, I was quoted $195 for a service call, despite the fact that he had been at my home just the day prior. Due to these concerns, I have decided to terminate their services and file a complaint with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Then after Ryan finally was clear about that concern, he decided one morning to clean my filter without notice so he proceeded to ring my doorbell, bang on my door and ring the doorbell again to wake me up and "get permission" after waking me up. *Once cleaned my filter and charged full price after I replied to the notification email declining the service.
