One day, I walked in with my mask on my face, but down on my chin. I apologized that I had forgot & pulled it up over my face. She STILL kicked me out the store for no mask because she said I should have had it completely on before I entered the store. As she was walking behind me screaming to get out, a customer came in with NO mask & went right to shopping without a mask. She I.D.s me every single time she sees me. Even if I walk out the store & right back in. I have no problem with that because it's the law. What I do have a problem with is how nasty her attitude and delivery is. One day I left my I.D. in the car and told her I was going out to retrieve it for her. I went got it & walked right back into the store & she STILL refused to sell tobacco or liquor to me because she said that I should have had it for her the first time she asked. This past Tuesday we both walked into the store. I carried the bottle to the counter and my husband pulled out his wallet to pay. She started rolling her neck & snapping that she needs my ID & not his. I asked if she was serious & she said, "you carried it up here didn't you?!" She said she was not going to ID my husband because HE is a REGULAR & I am not a regular. (Mind you, I go to the store more than my husband because he does not drink or smoke tobacco, but I do. He stops in for me on his way in from work.) I have come to grips that things with this lady will NEVER change so I vowed to find somewhere else close to home to buy. Unfortunately the next store is not conveniently around the corner so I stopped drinking and smoking tobacco altogether. I now save my (& my husband's money) so I guess it worked out after all.
