I tried the honey lavender latte, it was good! Better than the one from Verve, imo. Service was a bit slow, as there was only one person working. Not sure why that was the case on a Sunday morning, but this may have just been a one-off thing. Regardless, they were very nice and helpful! Comfortable coffee spot with fun seasonal offerings including a delicious honey lavender latte put together using all house made syrups. Fans of decaf will appreciate flavorful and chocolately flavors from Counter Culture beans rather than the usual something bland. My absolute favorite local spot! I'm not a coffee drinker and they have the best tea drink ever invented (the Black Sea tea latte). The employees are incredibly friendly and always remember my order. It always feels good to be a regular. My mornings would not be complete without a stop in to Love Mar Vista and a the entire team. read more

I love this little coffee bar - especially the Mexican mocha - iced or hot. I especially love(d) their baguette sandwiches. They are a little pricey but taste great. Disappointed today to find they've decided to reduce the size of the baguette and contents (still keeping the same price ofc). Still going for coffee tho. ‍ read more

Had a baguette to go to eat for lunch at work. Wish it had a tab bit more Brie and arugula. Other than that it was good. Luckily I had a garden at work with arugula to put in. The croissants were eaten in house. They didn't toast it or offer to toast it. But it was good. I think what could make this place a 5 star shop is the customer service. The ideas and flavors are brilliant. What creates a magical moment on top of good food is thoughtful service. And it doesn't have to be with so much intention. Mexican mocha was nothing like I've ever tasted. My child loves the hot chocolate. I really like the location and the way the place looks but people really make the vibe. Hope that changes to joy. This place just opened last week. It is on Centinela, just south of Palms. The place looks great. There's a bit of street parking, and a lot in back I had a latte, which was solid. I also tried the Turkey and Cheese sandwich. It was good. It came on a mini baguette which was just right, not too crispy. I look forward to visiting again soon. read more

This is still my favorite coffee spot in the neighborhood (with a parking lot - bonus points!). I love their coffee/lattes, but I wanted to also give a special shout out for their tea selection. I love an iced chai latte and theirs is one of my favorites! The perfect amount of spice and milk. I also love the cold brew tea selection as the weather warms up. I really like this place, it's a local spot that you can come to work. The music kind of drowns in the background, not too loud. Specialized drinks are $6-7, they have alternative milks but I forgot to see if they charge extra for it. The specialized drinks are pretty good, espresso shots wake you up but don't give you the jitters. Wasn't sure on the outlets as I was working with a full battery and not doing intensive battery draining work. Staff is really nice and they do dried pasta instead of straws so they're sustainable which is always great to see. Would definitely come again, nice place to get some work done. Chairs aren't as comfortable though so not sure if I would chill here and read though. read more

Ever heard of hair in your coffee? Yeah me neither. I didn't request for protein. Finding a hair that is not yours, swirling in your mouth after taking your first sip is going to make someone gag and not come back. I was too embarrassed to tell the employees it was in my mouth, but I hope management fixes this issue by implementing hats or hair nets. I was hoping I was going to like this place, but the employees need to work on their customer service. No warm welcome when we walked in, just blank stares and no smiles. It could've been overlooked, but the hair in my mouth was the last strand. I mean straw. read more

Love the coffee. Love the ambiance. Love the baristas. Don't love the dripping lids. They don't fit the cup, so there's a steady drip. For a couple months I've had to deal with these drippy lids while driving to work. Luckily I wear dark colors, otherwise I'd show up to the office with a stain on my chest. Their coffee is amazing, but be sure you have a napkin handy to wipe the puddle off your table... or your shirt. read more

I love this place! It just opened up down the street and I'm so happy. They have the classic coffee menu with lattes, espresso, etc., as well as a menu of signature drinks which all look incredible. I have tried the rosemary latte and the Green Day (matcha latte with a bunch of other fun ingredients). Highly recommend the rosemary latte. I also tried a sandwich with Brie and arugula - very tasty, felt like I was in France. The ambience is great and the barista (Daryl) is very nice and provides great service. They also have fun coffee-related and California-related gifts. And a fridge full of other beverages like fancy oat milk and juices. Will be going back regularly for sure. read more

I was excited about this place but I don't think I will be coming here anymore, the " Cuban coffee from Mary " does not represent Cuba at all, we might as well have asked for milk, in this order we requested to add a 3rd shot and if you look at this picture below, seems like it was just one shot, milk to coffee ratio is off, employee communication was off, Place was dead and they still got the order wrong, you can definitely get a better vibe and coffee down the street for half of the price. read more

Love is a good local that could make a few tweaks to be truly great. Feels super industrial and there is too much space turned over to tat for sale. Coffee is expensive, though delicious. Id invest in more comfortable chairs and create a bit more warm ambiance to make this a must-go to. read more

My drink was great the only reason I am giving 2 stars is because if the customer service. Stopped by on my way to the veterinary with my dog and she peed on the floor. I let them know what happened and was promoted to clean it up. I was given towels and cleaning spray to clean it up myself. Never going back. read more

The coffee and pastries were amazing, biggest downfall was the service. The cashier and staff were rude and none of the employees welcomed us in. When my family and I asked about suggestions nothing was really suggested. The lady in the front had a resting bitch face, and her customer service skills were a 2/10. Will I be back? Inconsistent at best. I was super excited that Love Coffee came to Mar Vista. I frequently go to the one in Santa Monica. I have tried it a few times and each time the drink taste different. Today I ordered a lavender and a rosemary latte. The both taste the same and did not have any rosemary or lavender flavor to them. At $7.50 a latte I was hoping to at least get some flavor. A few weeks ago I got a flavored cold brew and the same thing happened. read more

Stopped in ordered my first chai and was deeply underwhelmed. My drink tasted of oatmilk with spice sprinkled in. They don't have coconut milk as an option. I absolutely love LOVE! Have you been to their other location on Ocean Park? It's just as good as this one. The coffee is exceptional (made by extremely skilled baristas) but most importantly service is excellent and the staff is genuinely nice and thoughtful. Reliably high quality espresso drinks every time. I'm picky about coffee. They get it right. If you aa flavor and generally prefer things less sweet, ask for "half sweet". Easy parking and online ordering. Usually no line. Limited outlets but plenty of seating. The rosemary latte sounds weird but it's really good. read more

You can tell the baristas genuinely love what they do, and they're amazing at it. It's the perfect spot to get my creative juices flowing as a writer, and I always leave feeling inspired (and well caffeinated). Breakfast menu had a lot of delicious sounding options but I went for the breakfast burrito with hot sauce and it was fantastic. Breakfast burritos are very hit or miss IMO and this was a hit. I also had two cappuccinos bc I am a caffeine fiend and also jet lagged and they were both very good. Highly recommend to anyone in the neighborhood. I just realized they have other locations throughout LA too which I'm sure are also good but this one did not disappoint at all.
