Sunny liked Frank right away, after a few minutes playing with him they were like best friends. Still for massage Frank asked to put a mussel to prevent possible biting. I can not say that I liked that as Sunny never bites. I guess I understand that other dogs have sharp teeth and maybe bite but ok. At first I was really nervous since you cannot go see the dogs she breeds or the puppies without first putting down a deposit. But then she explained to me that they are bombarded with inquiries and they can't possibly have hundreds of people showing up at their home all the time. I took a leap of faith and paid the deposit. Cheryl is absolutely one-of-a-kind and was fantastic while looking after my cat, Biscuit, while my…read morehusband and I were away for 2 weeks on our honeymoon. She visited ahead of time to meet our cat and assuaged all of our fears within a few seconds. Our cat has a really hard time trusting humans who are not my husband and myself. She is friendly enough when first greeting someone, but she will not let other people pick her up or come running up to them until trust is built. Not with Cheryl. Cheryl is one of those people who really has a special connection with animals. I was amazed at how quickly Biscuit just came up to her and let Cheryl get close and asked for affection from her. The entire time we were away Cheryl sent us updates every day, with pictures. It really helped me feel better about leaving her alone. Cheryl would even do little things like turn the fan off in a certain room so the cat could get warmer (As she thought it would be more comfortable for her). And she asked to put on some ambient noise for the cat so that it wasn't so quiet in the time between visits. She even sat down with Biscuit and enjoyed her lunches with our cat while visiting, sometimes watching videos of birds with her to get biscuit interested. :) Working with Cheryl was easy, and honestly the best person we could have possibly wound up with. We lucked out finding her I think... I mean sure Rover has options, but none of the sitters seem to focus on cats (solely or primarily). It was important to us that we found someone who could give Biscuit her pills. We did not expect to find someone who could give our cat her pills, and who would gain her trust in such a short period of time. We love Cheryl and are forever grateful for her having looked after our cat during our honeymoon. It's a very trusting concept to give a…read moreperson your keys and have them in your house while you are away; Needless to say, a naturally uneasy feeling for a stranger to be doing it. I approached my search wearily and was careful who I chose to drop in to check on my animals while away on a trip. As I inquired with Cheryl about using her services, she was very warm & friendly. She was approachable with questions, and was an excellent communicator. After our initial conversation about dates and services needed, She scheduled a meet-up with me and my wife at home before we booked anything with her so she could get to know our animals, and communicate with us first-hand about exactly what we needed from her. The meet-up was important, as we got to know each other and I got a feel for her background. She is a semi-retired professional and has decades worth of experience with ALL KINDS of animals. As we gave her a tour and explained exactly what we needed, she took a copious amount of detailed notes: referencing where everything was located, what exact steps were required to feed/water/ clean, areas to avoid in the house, off limit areas for the animals, and even which exact key words served our animals for commands or companionship. While we were away, Cheryl helped clean, feed, water, and spend time with our 2 cats and crested gecko. Every time she came in, she took pictures or videos to keep us updated on how they're doing that day. It was nice to see her interacting with our lonely fur & scale babies and our our minds were out at at ease that they were in good hands. She also helped bring our mail in and make sure things were tidy around the house, assisting with messes the animals may have caused. Recently over Christmas, we had severe winter storm Elliot slam into a majority of the country. Because of this, thousands and thousands of flights were completely cancelled. My flight back home to AZ from CA was no exemption. After reaching out to Cheryl and explaining the last minute situation, she was easily able to fit checking-in on my house and was VERY accommodating! Of all the stresses of being stranded away from home, not exactly sure how long of a wait to get back home, she was such a huge blessing for me to at least not to have to worry about my animals! Cheryl is the exact kind of friendly person you want to have in your house, loving your animals while you are away. She is very people savvy, animal savvy, smart, well organized, and most of all dependable!

Approx 1 year ago I brought my dog into the same clinic with now new owners and it was horrible start to finish. Gruff greating from front desk staff, the vet handling of my fur baby was also not reassuring. My dog tried to bite her and she's never done that. I was there cuz I thought she had an ear infection. The vet claimed to have viewed bacteria on a slide from an ear wax sample and said the only way to cure it was using their antibiotics to the tune of $175. She also tried to sell me a special diet cuz my dog was "over weight". Needless to say, I cleaned my dog's ears out and there was never any further concerns. Def more interested in your money than your pet. This was NOT true with these guys. My dog was handled gently during a very thorough exam and recommendations were made that were reasonable and not at all car salesman pushy. Thank you so much for caring - start to finish
