We've had Lou's cater several events for us, food was delicious and well presented and prepared. They have been in business for many years.

There's a consistent schedule of live bands playing, and they never have a cover charge. Affordable drinks prices. Moderately priced food, this place is mainly good for the basics like wings, pizza & fried appetizers. Super casual spot for a night time hangout - just be prepared for the music to be *very loud* if you sit indoors during a rock band. Each food item on our bill also came out to a few dollars more than the prices on their website menu (i.e. got charged $19.95 for the Sampler Platter appetizer, when the online menu says $16.95, and got charged $13.95 for the dozen wings when online menu says $11.95). Didn't notice this until the next day, and we can't remember if the printed menu pricing in-person was correct & matches the receipt, or if it was also lower prices that match the online menu (which would be disappointing). Will definitely be highly aware of that if we visit again.

Not actually has a full size bar, indoor dining area, and an outdoor patio. This is a slight variation from a traditional chicken Parmesan entrée. The cutlet was prepared differently. The edges were pounded thin and had a crispy texture. The center of the cutlet was thick and chewier. Hidden beneath the cutlet was house made spinach linguine. It's different from typical pasta, but it has an acquired earthy taste. The appearance of the vodka sauce isn't the most appealing, but it tastes a lot better than it looks. The sauce was thick and creamy and had chunks of tomato. I highly recommend requesting an additional cup of sauce for full flavor. Overall, I enjoyed this plate. The minor drawback was we arrived while our server was ending his shift during our meal. We were assigned another server and it lead to miscommunication. #stagehousetavern #chickenparmreview #parmesancrustedchickenbreast

The restaurant was not yet crowded, yet my husband and I were put essentially in an "alcove" seating area away from the main dining room. Absolutely no ambiance, right next to the beverage area where the servers gather and also where the high chairs and booster seats were stored. When I noted my displeasure, I was met with, "Sorry, we're really busy today and we can't seat you elsewhere." There were many other empty tables in the main dining room and also empty hightop tables in the bar area. The buffet food was overcooked and cold. The coffee tasted like it was made last night. Total of our bill was $157.00 (and we paid an additional 3% on top of this for credit card). Yes, we knew what it was a head, but they also added an automatic 20% tip and the bill still suggested that we give our server a tip, who we had to follow up with for another cup of coffee, milk and water. Extremely disappointed. We won't be coming back here for a holiday meal.

We tried the Boom Boom Shrimp, which were crispy and packed with flavor; the sauce was amazing. The Pan Fried Potstickers were also delicious, savory pork dumplings with a perfectly balanced dipping sauce (though I wish there had been more!). Lastly, the fried calamari was fresh and crispy, complemented perfectly by the sweet chili sauce. For our main dishes, we ordered the blackened chicken salad, which was just okay--not my favorite. The prime burger, however, was juicy and flavorful. The shrimp and sirloin dish was decent, but the shrimp were a bit small and overcooked. This place is great for enjoying a few appetizers.
