So I bought a rear diffuser for my bmw And had some issues with putting it on and I was ready to throw it away but doing a bit more research I figured out the correct way to put it on had to do some custom work but was able to put it on and Lou's did an awesome job with the tail pipe tips very little money to do the work and they also went above and beyond because my two rear tires were on extremely tight couldn't get them off and one of the guys they awesome awesome guy busted his ass to loosen them when he really had no business to do that since I wasn't even being charge for it . All of a sudden my car was really loud. Ugh! It's not even fully paid for yet! My boyfriend said, "Go to Lou's, it's right near your house," and he doesn't recommend places lightly, so I went. I just walked in without calling first, and there were a few cars in front of mine, so I had to wait a bit (but the entire process took less than an hour). While I was waiting the guy in charge came in and told another lady that it would cost $30 to fix her problem. Another garage had told her it would cost $1000. That's a pretty huge difference! The three other people I met in the waiting room were also gushing about the amazing prices and service at Lou's. My repair was well under $100 and I left feeling good, which NEVER happens with me and car repair places. It's too bad they only do exhaust work. read more

Scam! They billed me for new parts but they didn't even purchase and install. They just tighten up the existing nuts and said it's done. A few months later, the old parts failed. How did I know? When I drove away, they forgot to take a metal wire off and was scraping. I jacked up the car to rid of the wire and saw the old parts there. read more

Lou's Custom Exhaust in Worcester exceeded my expectations today. From the first phone call which was answered by a super friendly guy named John who was professional and answered all my questions including the hardest one "can we get this done today". The techs at the shop were great, all of whom made eye contact with me and either waved or said hello when I walked in. The Manager handled my issue, was friendly and easy to talk with. From the technical side, the guys did a fantastic job. The welds were neat and uniform the brackets and supports clean and technically perfect. Only one small issue-they left the pipes that had fallen off my truck in the back of the truck instead of throwing them out for me. But that's not worth a star. I could have just gone back but I threw them away myself instead. This is my second experience with Lou's and I'd highly recommend them to anyone! read more

I had a leaking flex pipe on my Sonata. One shop wanted to change the entire pipe assy including catalytic converter for $1000+. Called Lou's Custom Exhaust, they said they could cut out the old flex pipe and weld in a new one for roughly $180. Went there and they only took 20 minutes to do the job. These guys are pros and honest. I highly recomend them. read more

After having my car rejected and becoming a ticket magnet, for apparently having a loud exhaust with a cherry-bomb muffler attached to it. I made an appointment first thing in the morning, thinking I would be paying my life savings out of my pocket. Instead, I explained my problem to a rare group of concerned mechanics (hard to find), after providing my own exhaust parts, all at once. They evaluated what was wrong and needless to say after 30 minutes or so, the car gave birth to a quiet muffler!! For a low price of $114!! Without a doubt, they have my business anytime for life. I drive a 2011 Nissan Sentra for work . The exhaust was sounding a bit throaty and I brought it to Lou's. They did an awesome job, Fixed it in less than 1 hour and charged me less than 80.00. They are extremely honest and professional. I spoke to another Muffler chain shop about the issue and without even seeing it they stated right out of the gate that I was looking at replacing the entire exhaust system to the tune of anywhere from 500.00 to 1000.00. These guys were SO great! There pricing was honest and they were polite and efficient. I brought my car in today for what I thought was just going to be a leak in the flex pipe. After they got it up they realized there was more rot towards the y piece (sorry not a car expert) of my dual exhaust. They called walked me through it and told me the adjusted price before doing anything. I said to go ahead and do the work unsure of what they meant but trusting the friend who sent me there that they knew what they were doing. When I came to pick my car up; he had saved the piece on the back end to show me exactly what he was talking about and was able to back up his work and the additional money I was spending! I've had a few things done to my Monte Carlo here in the past few years and I couldn't be happier with the results. Professional service and these guys really know their stuff. Instantly on the phone when I said my problem and the car, the guy on the other end of the phone knew exactly what part I needed and how much it cost. Cheaper than the competition as well. I had my mufflers put on at a local shop in Fitchburg and I can highly recommend that you do not go there for work, shoddy work and full of shortcuts, not a good place. Don't be afraid by the front of the building!! It is not fancy but the customer service and workmanship are fancy. I needed my exhaust checked and fixed before I went on vacation. Other places "couldn't take me..." I understand that... I called Lou's... they were so nice on the phone and found time to repair the car later the same day. I waited for the repairs, made some business calls and in a short period of time not only was my exhaust problem fixed but I got an oil change as well. Were unable to assist me in my request for a custom tip setup, in addition, the establishment was run very unprofessionally, including a manager directing profane language at an employee. The person assisting me was rude and dismissive, and told me he had to get back to work and walked away 5 minutes after I showed up, when I scheduled an APPOINTMENT for them to help me out. I took my truck to lous because I had been there before and had no problem, but this time it was the complete opposite. The quoted me two prices of course I went for the cheapest one... They said they added a y pipe but my mechanic in oxford looked at it and they had lied.. They had welded the same piece of pipe the truck already had and charged me $175 for a new one they never put in. After I got home from picking up my truck they had busted a transmission fluid line and within a weeks time the exhaust was leaking again. I had to take my vehicle to another muffler shop wich I am not going to mention because I don't want anyone reading this to think this is a fake review favoring a specific shop... That is not the case this review is specifically about my experience with lou's custom exhaust... As I was saying I had to take it to another muffler shop who confirmed my mechanics suspision... I was robbed of $175. I do not reccomend this place to anybody. If u want an honest shop that will value you ad customer and as a person lou's custom exhaust is not the place to go. They quoted me for a Cat-back exhaust system yet they only replaced the mid pipe to the muffler. They did not change the down pipe from the Catalytic converter and also charged me an excessive amount to replace the rusted flange from down pipe to mid pipe. I will never go there again. read more

OK here's my story: my wife was driving her car down the road, when she heard a loud "thunjjkays@hotmail.comk" and then her car was very loud. She called AAA and had the car towed to our mechanic but what he saw, he wasn't comfortable trying to repair but he said he would take it over to a guy he knew that did great exhaust work. I get a call the next day and he says the guy CAN fix it, but it will be around $1000 and there is no guarantee for how long it will last. While I was waiting for that call I called Lou's Custom Exhaust (in Worcester) and although he couldn't see the car, he looked it up in his book and assured me the MAX cost would be around $550 (that was if I needed everything from exhaust manifold back) So when I got the $1000 est. I called Lou's back and made an appointment for Tuesday. We ended up getting the opportunity to drop the car off Sunday night. Not expecting them to have a chance to look at it before the appointment. But Monday morning I get a call from Lou's telling me they got the car up in the air. Some things were going to need to be replaced but others still looked and felt solid. So worse case just turned in to $320 and it would be ready that afternoon. I was totally blown away by the guys at Lou's. They were all professional and extremely friendly. I don't ever remember a car repair coming in under the estimate but the guys at Lou's aren't out to fleece you, They are not going to repair things that don't need to be repaired. From what I can tell they do excellent work at a fair price plus you get a 2 year warranty. (probably longer than we will keep the car) and my wife is thrilled...(happy wife..happy life) So if you are looking for a good deal with honest people give Lou's a call. I think you'll be very happy you did. By the way I did talk to 2 other mechanics and both suggested Lou's. When you have other mechanics suggesting a place, you know it will be a good place to have your work done. read more
