We went with family in a Sunday few weeks ago. We got a Caesar salad, 3 pizzas (summer delite, mixed grill and yard sale) and drinks. Pizzas were amazing, salad was perfection and the dressing was a bit garlicy but I loved it. Service was great. Fast and efficient. Delicious!! Came to Arrowhead for the weekend with some friends to check out Oktoberfest. Planned on eating there but decided we were craving some pizza. Hadn't been here before but heard of it so we decided to check it out. First, walking in, it smelled sooo good! It's a cute place, busy for sure! It was 4 of us and we ordered 3 pizzas and a salad. It was over an hour wait for the pizzas but we were okay with that (our friend said that's normal of a wait time so we were expecting it). Walked down to the bar area to get some drinks and sat at a table. We got there at night and it was cold but if outside is super cute with the lights and such, so if you can, absolutely sit outside! It was too cold so we sat inside, which was fine too and comfy! And right there by the bar so that was nice! They bring the food to you which was cool too (even though we had walked down to the bar section). The salad was good - STICK TO THEIR ITALIAN DRESSING (I believe it was Italian. Whatever it is, stick to it. It's house made and literally SO GOOD!!). For the pizzas, we got: 1. White Out: This was what we wanted before we even got there. I'm a HUGE garlic fan so this was immediately a must. I already felt like maybe it would need some meat but I also just love meat on everything. The outcome-good but actually was my least favorite. Maybe I hyped it up because I was so hungry but definitely could have used meat. BUT a great vegetarian option as it is even listed as a vegetarian option. 2. BBQ Chicken: All around the favorite. Yum!! You can just never go wrong with a BBQ Chicken Pizza! And we all used ranch for dipping sauce. My favorite! 3. LouEddie's Special: Delicious! Be prepared for a two hour wait. Most people order their pizza and just come back later. We really wanted to give it a try so we ordered and came back 2 hours later. Got the margarita and the Lou Special, they were good, I'm just not too sure about the 2 hour wait time... but they do have a sign that says something like.. if you're in a rush, this isn't the right place for you. Love the honesty. We really like the atmosphere, very warm and welcoming. There seemed to be a lot of locals. The drive up there is very dangerous tho, not sure how people do it. We were in town on vacation for the weekend and it was super foggy and dark driving up to get our pizza. I totally regretted it. I would never drive there at night again. Back to the pizza! The pizza is worth the hype! I came here after seeing it on Instagram or some thing. I need to check places out when they have really good or really bad reviews just to see if the business is getting a fair shake. it has a really good location even if it's right off the road which can make parking and pulling out a little TTS. It's attached to a lodge which looks incredible! There is an upstairs and a downstairs! The view is very cool the vibe is amazing. The people are very nice upstairs and the music is very good downstairs. there is wine and cider and a few other items downstairs and the pizza is ordered to go or to eat there. You can sit outside which is absolutely breathtaking. Even though you don't get a complete clear view the trees are massive and gorgeous. It just gives you a vibe of treehouse and mountain experience. I got the pepperoni pizza because I wasn't sure if it was going to be good or not for sure otherwise I probably would've opted for a make your own. Here's where I was blown away! They have real crust in the proper way of making it which is nice and thin in Italian. So the flavor is fantastic. The cheese is delicious. Here's where it got very good! the pepperoni that they use is big and for some reason whatever they do it was not dripping oil all over the place. That's probably one of the biggest reasons I don't typically get pepperoni pizzas because it's overly oily and it usually ruins the crust and the bottom of the pizza. The oil can be overwhelming and sometimes the pepperoni doesn't have the best flavor. I almost ate the whole pizza right there I had to refrain it was delicious! It was not oily and the flavors were popping! they were really great and very accommodating. Downstairs I had a Moscato and a hot apple cider. I think the hot apple cider stole the show! It's homemade and fresh! This would be an epic date spot and I don't usually use that word very often! Can't beat Jim Morrison playing on the speakers or the conversation from the employees. Our bnb we stayed at suggested this place to eat at. We had heard this place gets crazy and the wait can be very long. We got in on Friday afternoon and tried to call to put in an order but learned that they don't accept phone orders and that you'd have to go in and order. It was almost dark and we didn't feel like driving so we decided to have it the next day for lunch. We arrive around 12 PM and there was ample parking and the line to order our pizza wasn't bad but the wait to get our pizza was about 45-55 minutes so we ordered a beer and waited outside. About almost an hour later our pizza is finally ready and we bring it back to eat. I'll be honest, it's good but it isn't GREAT. I've had better pizza lol I think it's all hype. Oh another thing I think I should mention is the pizzas aren't that big so definitely order more if you have a larger party. Anyhow, definitely not worth the hour wait in my opinion so next time I'm in arrowhead I wouldn't mind skipping out on this place. read more

WHAT A CUTE PLACE!! i heard from my boyfriend that this restaurant in the area has the best pizza. i love pizza and happened to be craving so i made a small suggestion and we ended up here! we got a beginners run (pepperoni pizza) and an order of garlic knots. the pizza was sooooo good. the sauce was perfectly seasoned and flavored and the bread was nicely chewy. the pepperoni had a wonderful smoky meaty flavor. the quality of ingredients was simply superb. the restaurant is quite small, but is so nice to look at, and the staff were amazing on the phone and in person. we stopped in to pickup a phone order and were out quickly. what a fantastic visit. everything was divine and i will for sure be back to enjoy once again. if you're thinking of stopping in, i recommend! but be warned, locals say it gets quite busy, and the parking situation is not very good. read more

Spent the weekend at a lake house and immediately upon arriving we headed for Lou Eddie's. Seeing as it's real Italian food out in the forrest? Forget about it. I ordered the meatball pizza and pepperoni. The meatball pizza was amazing, it was topped with fresh basil and slices of meatball. And the pepperoni was delicious, thin crust but with perfect amount of cheese and sauce. It took awhile to receive our food (but they let us know that) and we could see how popular this place was so that was really no issue. We were able to relax outside with a table near beautiful oak trees and it was a vibe. We wanted to try the cannoli so bad, but we were so full! This past weekend, we took a family trip to Skyforest, which is nestled in between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear. Friday was our travel day so we decided after we unpacked all of the suit cases and the kitchen sink my wife decided to pack, that a pizza, a nice hearty salad and a nice glass of red wine was just what we needed. Since we had a large group of 12 in our cabin which were mainly kids, we decided it might not be a great idea to haul everyone out in the cold to a restaurant to try and fit us all in. So my sister in-law and I decided we would go, grab the food and bring it back. We called ahead of time and we're told the wait would be about an hour and a half, so we decided once our order was placed that we would go grab groceries to kill some time. After some time past, we went to LouEddies to check on the status. They said about 45 more minutes and that we were welcome to check out their saloon bar which was located down the steps. Saloon? Bar?? Enough said sir! Take your time on those pizza's, we will go check out the bar! So my sister in-law and I went to the bar and had a little adult bevvie while we waited. The saloon bar is a cool space, the girl behind the bar was sweet, and it made the remaining wait painless. Once we finished our drinks, we went upstairs, grabbed our 3 pizzas, Greek salad and headed back to the cabin. Before I could even dare take a photo of their amazing pizzas... the 19 kids swooped in on the pizzas and there went my Yelp photo. So I took my chance and grabbed the salad before it was too late and snapped my pic. Bottom line, the pizza was worth every single minute of the wait. The salad, it's toppings and the dressing were 100 percent on point. All I can say is this... LouEddie your pizza made all 12 people in our cabin very, very Happy! We will absolutely come back if we come to Sky Forest and I recommend you do the same. read more

Had seen this place a few times on social media and took the opportunity to take my kiddo and mom and aunt to LouEddie's. They are a very popular spot, a number of people placed their order in advance, they were honest and communicative about the wait time. I bought a deck of cards and a spiked cider for the adults and a hot cider for the kiddo and we passed the time playing a few games before our pizza came out. It was super delicious, their dressing is yummy. I also tried their homemade olives and they were so good! We ordered a large salad that came before the pizza it was enough for the four of us to all share.
