Lake Arrowhead Pizza offers a very large space to come in and enjoy some freshly made pizza with your family and friends. Great for large groups or just dining at a smaller table. Plenty of outdoor seating with views of the village and lake. The pizza was tasty and came out fast. Just got a cheese and the small was big enough for 2. They offer pizza by the slice too if you are just strolling by in the village. The staff was friendly and offered plates and ranch with the pizza. Inside has a huge arcade for the kids. It was a slow day and some machines weren't on but they probably power them up as needed. There are big screen tvs everywhere with plenty of different sporting events on. I NEVER KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT! I have a second home on the mountain for 23 years. We were here 4 weeks ago and had a good experience. It was crowded. The help was good and food was good. Today we came and the pizza was undercooked. Not crowded. Not busy. Our pizza came out with the dough not cooked. We asked for them to cook it. It came back burned on top. They were having a plumbing problem in the kitchens and all we heard was the roto rooder going the whole time we were in the dinning room. The side patio had a charming camper that may serve drinks or desserts, but it was not in operation when we were there. The interior was very 'mountain-y' with local vibes and lots of sports TV's and memorabilia. Our 3 basic large pizzas cost over $70, which seemed high but we were OK with that as we expected a high end style of pizza. We get them back to the house and they are cold and very skimpy on the cheese and pizza sauce with a thin, dry crust. In truth, they were the worst pizza I've had for decades but the kids liked them. Okay, so normally we stay local in Orange for our cities 4th of July festivities, but those were recently cancelled so we needed to try something new. We found Lake Arrowhead Pizza & Deli and let me tell you, everything was a 10/10. We were able to make reservations to be able to see the fireworks over the lake and enjoy dinner at the same time. The whole night staff (KK, Marilyn, Danielle, Lisa, Christie, Dave, Audrey, Kaylie, Marley, Lily and Polina) ran the evening swiftly and smoothly. The patio had a great view of the fireworks, food was DELICIOUS, and the staff was full of friendly faces, even during a super crazy dinner rush on a holiday! I knew going into Lake Arrowhead that the options would be limited so seeing the reviews on this place made me hesitant. For a night in, I knew pizza was the way to go so I went ahead and bit the bullet with the place. I got the biggest pizza they had and went for a normal pepperoni and I was disappointed at that the reviews on this place was so awful compared to what I got. I took the huge pizza home and was surprised that I got a great pizza! A standard pepperoni pizza from here did not let me down and being that it was the giant pizza, we got a great deal. Again, I only went for take out so I didn't get to sit down and experience the ambiance of the place but the pizza itself was great. I'm a huge pizza nerd and make it at home so I can appreciate decent pizza but this was a good pie, don't understand the low ratings. For eight adults, we got two large pizzas and a family style salad. There were 4-5 slices leftover, so I'd say their portion sizes are pretty good. I recommend getting The Works and Meat Lovers pizza. They were both really good. The Chef's salad was also very delicious. It was a generous portion of meats (salami, turkey, and ham) for a salad. We asked for ranch dressing on the side, and they happily obliged. The pizzeria is located on the fourth floor. There is plenty of parking shared with CVS and Stater Bros. You can even park in the structure and go up the stairs/elevator to the fourth floor. You will see the Lake Arrowhead elevation sign. Seating is first come first serve. Tried this place last night on a whim. The pizza was great! We ordered the large (half cheese and other half onion+jalapeno). We took it to go and ate it in our cabin. While we were waiting for pizza I had their local Hazy IPA and it was really good! It came really close to the beer liquid candy (for those who have tried that beer). Then the kids saw someone order fries so we ordered it also. The hot fresh fries with the view really hit the spot for all of us. The service was great and very helpful lady at the counter. The view from the place is amazing as you can probably see from tins of pictures posted here by others. It was windy so we stayed inside but by the patio windows. I think this place needs to be visited in different seasons and I bet it really gets busy during weekends and nicer climate. read more

This is a nice place to take the family if you are not wanting to leave the Lake Arrowhead bubble. There is plenty of food options and fun games for families. Ambiance: This is a nice place to take the family because there are so few fun places to take kids. The restaurant is crowded for a good reason. The seating is tight and floors are little dirty, especially in the arcade area. The parking is probably the worst part about visiting here. There is a parking lot right outside the restaurant, but open spots are rare. Tip is to park in the parking structure (free) and walk a few minutes. Service: Employees taking orders are friendly and will ensure you receive all orders correctly. They deal with a lot of customers and I can understand if they get stressed out occasionally. But our servers were very nice and patients Food: The Works Pizza was tasty and had lots of toppings. I liked the many size options of pizzas. The cheese pizza is convenient but not that tasty, a little tough. The wings and mozzarella sticks are good choices for appetizers but the sauce the comes with the chicken is served cold. We spent a weekend at the UCLA Lake Arrowhead center and liked having this place as an option to eat offsite. There are TVs, games and decent prices for family meals. read more

I've read some mixed reviews on this upper-village landmark, but let my first observation be that it's great to have the place back open after agonizing over its untimely closure and ultimate fate after the structural damage inflicted on the property during last year's harsh winter snowstorms! It was our family's first trip for the year, and we were relieved to find our favorite mountain pizza joint back up to speed and in good order. With a hungry party of six, their 24" Super Pizza immediately jumped out as our go-to size - and it definitely satisfied our pizza-loving crew's cravings (as well as providing a midnight snack later that evening). The pizza - a half cheese, half pepperoni - was cooked well despite its massive size, and the crisp crust was definitely a crowd pleaser. The pie was neither overly sauced, greasy, nor unevenly cooked as can often be the case with pizzas of such a large size. Two thumbs up was our group consensus! Not everyone in our crew is a pizza fan, so we also ordered a turkey sub which was an additional home run. The roll was flaky and soft with a generous portion of turkey and the obligatory garnishes of shredded lettuce and diced tomato, making the sandwich a treat for both the eyes and stomach. The side of coleslaw was also good, though only one of several options available, so french fry lovers need not despair. Waiting for our pizza to cook, we also ordered some mozzarella sticks and a pitcher of beer to enjoy while sitting out on the patio overlooking the lower village and beautiful, blue waters of Lake Arrowhead beyond. The mozzarella sticks arrived piping hot and crispy, which is important if dining outside on an early March afternoon. Things can cool down quickly - especially when a brisk breeze mixes with Winter's receding chill - but who can resist the crisp mountain air and serene ambiance this location provides? Of course, there's plenty of warm seating inside AND a small arcade for those with a desire to feed quarters to the hungry machines. :D We had a great time enjoying some fantastic faire and left with no complaints. Prices appear to be a little higher than down below, (what isn't in our current economy?), but this mainstay of the village is still worth a visit while in the area! We had a really bad experience at Lake Arrowhead Pizza. We ordered over $250 worth of food and included a generous tip. After our family sat down and the staff served our pizzas to us at a large table, a waitress came up to us aggressively and told us we needed to leave the area immediately because it was "reserved" for a party. When we explained that no one told us and that their own staff had served us there, she snapped back and rudely told us that next time we should "read the sign" that we "obviously walked right past." The tone was disrespectful and completely uncalled for--especially toward paying customers who were just trying to enjoy a meal with their family. The worst part? The party she was saving the area for never even showed up. We ended up feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and unwelcome. Really disappointing experience. After a long venture around the lake, we made the stop at Arrowhead pizza for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The location has tons of seating inside and out but due to the cold wind the outside was vacant and inside was packed. We were able to score a couple tables next to each other that didn't have much space so we pushed em together and made one big table giving all the room needed. The super pizza comes with 32 squares of pie and was the perfect option to feed a group of hungry kids. With a family salad, poppers and mozzarella sticks and a pizza for the adults we had a ton of food for just over a hundred bucks! Deal of the day. I was close panning this place because I ordered a Margherita pizza. And what was brought out was essentially a cheese pizza, with some basil and slices of cold tomatoes thrown on top after the pizza was cooked. We all know by now I take my pizza seriously and there are international standards for what can be called a Margherita pizza...and the tomato slices were an extremely odd choice...just serve cheese pizza!! It came with legit garlic bread and was cooked surrounded by sauce with the cheese on top browned, as it should be!! They also had great French fries and wings. Good beer selection, and an AMAZONG view of arrowhead lake. Seems like an awesome place to watch some sports, have some drinks and solid food. Please though, to management, u don't need to meet the international Margherita pizza standards, but at least have a pizza, with quality sauce, flavorful torn basil, and dollops of mozzarella...then cook it, no cold tomatoes!!
