Apparently if you have a "deep chemical peel on the off season" they use OLD stuff. It doesn't matter that this is the one week, in a year, in which you are not entertaining a 6 year old or working. My ESTHETICIANS told me, " this bottle is getting low and it might be olD. If you don't peel let me know. IF IT DOESN'T WORK, PLEASE, LET ME KNOW AND WE WILL DO IT AGIAN." EVERY synapse in MY body wanted to YELL, " ITS NOT THE MONEY, ITS THE TIME. I HAVE ONE WEEK A YEAR TO DO THIS. PLEASE USE THE GOOD SHIT!" But I did not. I wanted to be polite. FFFF me. My lower face flaked, and my upper face did absolutely nothing. My upper face has the MELASMA.. I tried to collect myself, figure out my timing....but surely ELASE would see their fault. NOPE. Silence. "Maria" tried to convince me that it was normal. IT IS NOT NORMAL MARIA, I have had this peel before. PLEASE STOP TRYING TO GAS LIGHT ME!

Nothing worked. I didn't want to get on accutane because I'd heard a million horror stories of people losing their hair, getting such bad dryness their skin flakes off, or their face turns red permanently. At this point in my life though, It was my last shot for clear skin. A couple days before I went to the dermatologist to get on the medication, I saw one of my friends who had like myself, been through it all with acne. Her skin looked flawless and I told her WTF. She told me to go to Skintherapy and I booked a consultation the same day. It has been almost a year since I decided to go to Jil at Skintherapy and I have never regretted the decision once. I used to cry myself to sleep at night because my acne was so bad. Now, I leave my house without makeup and feel a hundred times more confident and beautiful. I haven't had an actual, big, red, "Hi! I'm right here!", real-deal pimple in months, which is completely baffling to me considering I used to have an army of little red friends living on my face constantly. I feel so lucky to have been referred to Skintherapy because it has transformed my life immensely in so many ways. The lovely ladies at Skintherapy are so sweet and caring, and will really stop at nothing to get you clear. As long as you comply and follow the regimen they give you based on your skin type, you will not have problems. If you are struggling with acne and don't know what to do next, call Skintherapy and set up a consultation. It's worth every cent and second of your time. I could not be happier with my skin right now and I want to thank everyone at Skintherapy for helping me through this journey!
