Extremely disappointed with this place. I brought my 5-year-old daughter to get her nails done and get a fill for myself. From the moment we walked in, no one greeted us. A woman--possibly the owner--sat at the front, texting, and looked annoyed by our presence. Despite the red flags, I decided to give the place a chance. During my service, I mentioned something was under my nail, and she simply shrugged and said there was nothing she could do. You could clearly see the outline of my old nails, and even though I didn't want any color, I was pressured to pick one because they looked so bad. She ended up switching the color I chose with a gel polish instead--without asking--and told me it was "better." The total came out to $90, and she casually mentioned they charge extra for kids. It felt very intentional that she used gel when I never asked for it. On top of that, I had to Zelle the payment--very unprofessional for an established salon in Boca. What truly shocked me was when she confronted me about the tip and went on to tell me how expensive Boca rent is. That is not how you speak to paying customers. If you expect tips, basic respect and kindness should come first. I still left a tip--because I have class, and the Hispanic lady who did my child's nails was so sweet. I have no words!!! I got a gel mani/pedi at 2:00 today and by 5:00 my nail polish started peeling. It is now 8:00pm and my nail polish on 3 nails started lifting and came off in one piece!! I had to peel off all the nail polish on my nails! Gel does not do that!! I have had gel nails that last for three weeks and I have to soak them to get them off! Waste of $100!! Very unprofessional and scammy place. Two of us showed up for an appointment. They had people in chairs and claimed we didn't make an appointment. Then they did the nails, and the nail polish literally washed off the first day! Not only that we paid $20 extra for a design and it was horribly undone. No joke. After 10 minutes someone finally came to me and I said I had a nail appointment at 4:30. They said it's gonna take 30 minutes. This was hands down the worst service I've ever received. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The salon was extremely dirty there were bugs flying around everywhere, and when I brought it up, they brushed it off and blamed "the trees." Completely unacceptable. The technician was incredibly rough. I told her I was in pain because of how she was drilling into my skin, but she ignored me and yanked my foot back multiple times. It was not only painful, but disrespectful. On top of that, the wait time was ridiculous. I walked in before someone who didn't even have an appointment, but I was told I had to wait while they were seen first. The entire experience was unprofessional, unhygienic, and uncomfortable. HORRIBLE!!!!! Do not recommend for anyone!!!!!! ! The salon is cluttered with messes everywhere. It had trash everywhere and a door fell of a cabinet. Only 1 lady working in the salon that does not know how to do nails. I asked for French nails and left very unhappy and it took her over 2 hours and my nails looked horrible. I didn't even get a pedicure because I hated my nails so much. I let the nail tech know through out the entire process that I was not happy with the nails. She kept just adding more coats to fix her mistakes and did a very poor job. The lady additional charged me 82$ for these horrible nails and hovered over me while i was tipping. She then was mad at my tip. (Which she should have been thankful I tipped her in general.) Do not go here!!! Since my appointment I have now been getting harassed by the owner. Not once did I get an apology or a refund. I had to go and get all of my nails redone along with a pedicure and the nail techs were shocked at my nails and how bad they looked. Since then she been harassing me via phone informing me that my opinion is slandering her company. To slander is to make false claims. Nothing about what I said is false and I am entitled to my opinion. I think that as an owner you need to take this as a learning opportunity and reflect on how you run a business. Parking was descent. Personnel were not friendly. Only accepted Venmo and Zelle for payment. Credit card machine was down because of internet?. Wouldn't accept 20% off anniversary sale posted on the attached picture. Sent many sorority girls from a local college for first day treat. Left one girl in acetone for 1 1/2 hours. One girls nails are terribly done and has to be redone completely. Chased girls to their car demanding a tip for horrendous service. What a way to hurt a business. I had a pedicure and dip manicure. An elderly woman was there at the same time as me and she did not have money with her to tip so they told her that was unacceptable and never to come back. I paid a $10 tip and they informed me that my tip was not enough and it should be at least 20%. It is now three days after my service and the top coat is chipping off of my nails already. Staff and owner are very friendly and patient with requests. I believe the owner does the acrylic nails, and he's amazing!! I work in a restaurant and am constantly bumping my nails, carrying heavy plates, etc. things that are not good for acrylic nails!! The owner needs to do a better job cleaning their top coat nail polishes. I picked a light color base just to have streaks of red in the clear top coat nail polish from a previous clients nails. This was very upsetting and the owner knew it and still chose to ignore the obvious. The owner sat me down to dry for 1 minute then asked me to pay immediately. I already knew the experience was not pleasant. I paid for my service and still decided to give a tip. The owner counted my tip right in front of me and told me my tip was not 20%. Umm excuse me!? Tipping is based off of quality service and this was not. I found the owner to be rude and burning bridges with her clients. I don't recommend Lotus nails. read more

I was looking around for a nail salon nearby, I'm so glad I found this one. My technician was so kind and did an AWESOME job. Five stars isn't enough. I had a pedicure and gel manicure, the tools were all clean and I even got a hand massage and quick shoulder massage during my manicure all for an awesome price. No A/C (doors open when it's 90 degrees out); 2 people working; hidden, unmarked up-charge on certain color...and after being told the non-descript color I chose was more expensive than others and while I was picking out a new color, they took a walk-in right as she came through the door and I was back to waiting. This salon is literally THE BEST i have been to in Boca. Only open 6 mos and run by a sister and brother. Andy, the brother, did my nails 2 weeks ago...a full set of pink n white acrylics. I am very picky about my nails n when i left i noticed a problem. Andy fixed them right away with no problem. I made an appt for my pink fills to be done today along with a pedicure. Absolute perfection on pedicure. The sister did my pedicure n it was wonderful. Then Andy did my nails... again total perfection. I was falling asleep due to lack of sleep the nite before. Andy did a neck n shoulder massage n it was sooooo relaxing. I will be back again in 2 weeks. RUN, DON'T WALK TO THIS NAIL SALON! They are in a small new strip shopping center about 10 feet south of the Camino Real Publix on the same side of federal hwy. All i can say is they have my business. Im a regular here. I was pretty bummed when they were closed for so long during Covid but excited when they re opened. I've been back a couple times. I keep going back because of the employee/ owner and the work they do. If you hire someone New* and they are not as good as you are, I don't want them to do my nails. I could go to any salon but I -choose- to go to this one because of who does my nails. I needed to get my nails done so I called to make an appointment about 4 times with no answer, I don't think their phone works. I just drove to this salon to see if I could get my nails done because they didn't answer. I walked in around 12:30 and said I needed just a regular manicure. There was only one person working and 2 people needing to get their nails done ahead of me. They also said they tried calling and it didn't work. He told us to come back in an hour and I could get my nails done, so I did. When I came back. There was another worker there and she just sat down 2 people who walked in without an appointment. They said I needed to wait about another hour until I could finally get mine done. Once the worker realized I was there first she told 2 people who just sat down, I was there first so she was gonna do my nails first. They were unhappy so they left. This was a confusing and frustrating process just to get a simple manicure, that doesn't even look like it was professionally done. I will not be returning.
