I've tried most places in Glendora... and it is hard to find a good nail salon where you wont be back in a few days because they broke off of lifted! This place is located right behind Baskin Robbins - Lotus Nails is a great find. Vincent and his wife own this shop, and are great people. Vincent does the nails while his wife does the pedi's. He takes his time to do them correctly and they last for weeks. They are not the thick type of nail that most places do these days. And when getting a clear fill (as I do) he buffs them instead of painting the clear polish - its looks so much better. If you need to get your mani pedi done - go here!!! If you're looking for decent quality for a cheap price, this is the spot for you. Tried this place out for my first time & they did a pretty decent job. I got a manicure & pedicure. The manicure was okay, I still had cuticle skin left on my nails but my nails did look a lot better. My pedicure was okay. My heels & toes are still rough, they never asked for a callus treatment on me. So I'm not sure if that's even an option here, so my feet look nice but they are still rough. Yes the place seems clean, but I had the WORST manicure there ever. She took 45 min to do a manicure, she made my cuticles bleed and then the polish job was horrible, 3 coats and she still had it uneven. I left with polish all over the finger tips. I was so disappointed, I tipped her prior to the finish, her request?? I will NEVER go here again!! I had a party that night and my nails look like a 3rd grader painted them!! Overall good salon, very nice people, I left a happy customer. I went on a Saturday morning with no appointment they took me in and I was out in less than an hour. I got a gel set and pedicure, was happy with the quality of the gel and nail polish. I read the reviews, which were very helpful. I specially paid attention to the review mentioning Dianne does amazing pedicures. I called Thursday May 4- to make my pedi appointment with Dianne. I walked in, everyone was very warm, very welcoming. It seemed very small, it was comfortable. I like my water hot, due to ingrown, this salon made sure my h2o was hot. I can say Dianne dig out my ingrown's, she is a bit rough, she is good! She even asked if I wanted calluses removed? Yes please. She did a good job. Before I left. I booked my next appointment. Regular pedi W/ scrub, plus callus remover, my total was $22.00 Parking in the back, you can enter through the back. *The only negative: " I am a clean Greek! I like things clean. The floors need to be swept & mopped." Staff, I would pay close attention to your floors, cleanliness of the salon. The spa chair's were clean. I like this nail salon for pedicures. It's clean, the people are nice, and the do a great job. Too bad they're so far from where I live (L.A.), so I time it for when I'm already coming out that way. No place else have I had a pedicure last so long! It's not low-end inexpensive, nor high-end pricey. The couple extra dollars you may pay is worth it for a place that's clean and the pedicure lasts longer! This nail salon was always my go to when I used to live in the area, and I recently decided to try it out again since I wanted to get a gel pedicure. Reasonable prices and their work is awesome. The 2 stars are because I noticed that this time around their spas did not have bags in them. Not only that but when they began my pedicure I noticed that the pedicure tools did not come out of a new bag. The lady was a bit rough but I figured she was just deep cleaning my feet. No blood was drawn while she was getting in my toes and cleaning but 2 days later I woke up to throbbing pain on my left toe, and noticed it was swollen red on the side of my toe nail, and now there is apses accumulating. I knew things did not seem sanitary this time around but because of previous positive experiences I figured it would all be ok. I should of spoken up at the time, so a fair warning to those getting pedicures there...ask for clean new sanitary tools and a bag for the spa tub. read more

i would give it no stars if i can. after searching around yelp for a good nail salon i took one of the fellow yelper's advice to give lotus a try. they do offer brand name nail polish like essie, opi and orly but the nail polish is so old! the manicurist had a hard time applying the nail polish, as she was painting my toe nails she was adding a liquid in to the nail polish to liquify the nail polish. my pedicure came out ok. the part that disappointed me the most was my manicure. the lady that did my nails gave me french tips. my french tips were crocket and uneven no matter how hard she tried to fix it. the worst part is i just got my nails done yesterday and its all chipped today. as she was painting my nails i noticed she used a orly bottle of nail polish, but the bottle seemed so worn out the words surround the bottle seemed to have fallen out and they labled it top coat. i am assuming they fill their bottles with cheap nail poilish. thats why my nails didn't last at all. in conclusion, the price is ok. but i would say the quality is horrible. don't bother wasting your time and money here. it took me almost 3 hours to just get a manicure and pedicure. read more

It's true, their prices are reasonable. After going to an overpriced place the last time. I wanted to go to an affordable place to get my gel mani and pedi. The lady that did my pedicure was really awesome. I have lots of cuticle/skin on the sides of my big toes but she meticulously took them all off. I love it. 4 stars because the guy that did my dark nail gel polish wasn't really great on putting them. I'm very picky on my nails, especially that I know that they would be on my fingers for atleast 2 weeks. But overall it was a nice experience. I got a design on my toe. Firs of all I would give zero stars I it would let me. I went in here because someone I know said they loved tis little shop. I went to have a pedicure on 8/29 and by 9/1 my so called OPI polish was already chipping off. Obviously it was not OPI because if it was it would have lasted at least 2 weeks. During the trimming of my big toe nail the lady cut it to short to the point it bled. And then when she was filing she filed that same nail and had it bleeding again. When she applied the lotion she only messaged my right foot, completely ignoring my other leg and foot. Then when squirting the remover on my nails before applying the polish she squirted the cut toe and wiped it causing it to bleed AGAIN! I was the only one in the salon, which should have been a red flag for me! The whole spa pedicure took less then 25 minutes and that was with me waiting to dry for 5 minutes. First of all I doubt this place knows how to use an appointment book. I have gone to this place several times with an appointment and always end up waiting because they double booked. Second of all I went in for a manicure and the guy did them, let me just say it was the worst manicure I have ever gotten. My nails were better of before and I wasn't in pain before! I have fairly healthy nails that are pretty long and have nice nail beds. After my manicure they just looked horrible and I was in pain! He cut my nails so short and to an awful angle , he then proceeded to try and file them some more which was a joke, because all he was filing was my skin. After he finished filing my skin he attempted to cut my cuticle but ended up ripping my skin off around my nails making my finger tips bright red and sore, he then tried to file some more, I was literally pulling my hands away from him at this point and all he did was mumble something and then started laughing! Then he painted my nails the color I chose was a silver , how bad could the paint job be? Really bad. The edges of my nails wernt even polished It looked horrible! Take my advice and never come here! I'm still in pain from this awful service! read more
