I called to see if they could take a, "Walk-in" appt. for a Refill and a Pedicure. They stated they were full and suggested I made an appt. for an hour and a half later. I showed up for my appt. and NOT ONE Individual stated, "Hello, Can I Help You or even Recognized they had a Client." The Salon was PACKED!! I finally stated aloud, "I'm here for my 3:15 pm appt. "Okay, Sit down!!" There was one seat and after a few minutes the smell of Chemicals was beyond overwhelming!! I started having a hard time breathing. They definitely were Over Capacity and are in desperate need of New Ventilation System. After waiting over 30 mins. and Not being, "Recognized". A Lady walked in, stated She was a Walk-In and could they, "Fit her in?" "Sure Come on Back!!" They took her right back!! At that point, I was DONE!! OVER PACKED, NO Care for Customers , Poor ventilation... As I was waiting, a younger girl walked-in and decided to wait. As I was leaving,, I gave her my name and told her to take my appt. In my opinion, when their previous Salon was a few stores down... They had shown Much more Care for their Customers and Customer's Satisfaction. It's extremely Sad, Lotus Nail used to Show Care and Appreciation for their Customers. Actually asking if you wanted a magazine or if there was a special movie you'd like to watch!! Extremely excellent Customer Service and Care!! It feels as though Now, they'd rather have bodies filling a chair than Caring for THEIR Customers' Time and Satisfaction. I just received a 20% off coupon for my Birthday. I would have loved to take advantage of that offer, especially since Everything is so expensive. Made an appt for 3:15 for my daughter and a pedicure for myself. They could care less about time. I ask at 3:30 when they thought I would be able to get my pedicure and they said maybe 20 min. Why do you make an appointment if you can't stay on time. I understand running behind 15 min behind but 45 min is terrible. They just say yes to everyone who calls or walks in and could care less about your time. Ignorant and dismissive. I would gladly pay more for better service. read more

RACIST!!! I went here with my partner, We are black and got no greeting at all and only spoke with us after greeting another customer. My nails were rushed and chalky under most of the nails on my right hand. They persisted my partner saying they couldn't have charms on all of their fingers and then restating the price of the charms. My partner went back and forth eith them for the charms to be placed on every finger as they wanted and the experience overall was micromanaged, we felt talked about and just wanted the experience over with. I never understood whats the purpose of having an appointment, when you still have to sit for over an hour! I usually schedule an appointment and wait for no more than 20 minutes (which is still horrible) but today, it seemed like they were more concerned about taking in all the walk-ins prior to the clients with appointments. Just went to get my nails done here, and I had to bring my son who is very little and he started crying halfway through. And even though I had to keep stopping to give him a pacifier, the girl who did my nails was very patient and did a good job, I know some of the people getting their nails done were probably judging me for bringing my kid, but we have a funeral to go this week and I had no other time to go when I didn't have work, so I'm grateful that people who work there were kind even without knowing. I was a walk-in for a pedicure and a refill. The pedicure was horrible, no exfoliating scrub, a 10 second message per calf, and 0 seconds toward callus removal. She put the callus remover on and started scrolling through her phone. After about a minute she told me to put my feet back in the water then she applied the lotion to my legs. The whole thing took about 20 minutes with the presoak and gel polish. The guy who did my refill asked if I wanted a design before I even sat down in the chair, I said no thank you and he said, airbrush? Again, I said no - I just wanted plain gel polish. He seemed angry and started to do my nails. He didn't say a word to me except "k" when I asked for a coffin shape to my nails. The people on both sides of me were engaged in conversation with their clients the entire time. I don't expect a full chat session, but being polite would have been nice. When he cut the nails down, he automatically started to get the acrylic ready and I asked if he could make them a little shorter telling him that I have trouble typing with long nails. He "huffed" and cut them shorter but never asked me if the length was ok. He put on the stuff that goes on my cuticles and pushed my hands back toward me and said all done. No massage, no lotion, he didn't even ask if I liked them. He immediately got up and went to the front desk. All this for $111. I was not happy. :( read more

They do amazing work here! I love coming the staff is nice and the details that go into the nails are great :) One problem I noticed is it gets very busy very fast. Sometimes it can be hard to book an appointment (because they are appointment only) and other times I'll be waiting 20-40mins after my appointment had started. Verbally abusive to customers. Beware of this "worker" in this photo. Not only does he work under the table, but no one would tell me his name. I asked for ombré style nails, based off the vast yelp photo reviews. They told me they could do it! 2 hours later, the nails looked NOTHING like ombre. The color cut straight across. The woman could've told me nicely that she doesn't normally do ombre, and that I could reschedule with someone who does. Instead, the man in the photo told me they specifically wouldn't do the ombre FOR ME because I was "picky" and should go somewhere else. I questioned him after he threw a few more insults my way. I asked if he seriously just told me I was being picky when 2 hours prior, I made sure they could do the look BEFORE sitting down. I've never IN MY LIFE had a WORKER ANYWHERE talk to me or anyone else like this. IMAGINE insulting a customer who is paying for a service and is politely giving feedback to the ladly working on me. He then ignored me for the rest of the hour I was there. The manager admitted that the guy is not an employee. He refused to tell me the guy's name. I have reported the business to be investigated. There were over 10-15+ other "workers" and the manager got extremely sketched out when I asked how many were employees. When i first walked in, i was looked at but never greeted. Was just told to "go pick a color" then i think her name was Emma came over and i told her i was looking for like a pink French airbrush ombré and was told they don't do ombré like that, it had to be dip powder..... every other salon I've ever been to has been able to do airbrush ombré ‍ Should have listened to my gut and left then, but my nails really needed to be done at this point... so i pick another design and we go on our way. I must've told her to cut my nails down 4 times as i work in eye care and can't have long nails..... did she listen..... nope! Now my nails are so long i had to try to file em down a little on my own. When we were finished, she brought me to the register where i paid $45 for a fill in (ive NEVER paid that price before) and when i gave her her tip she looked at me like i should have been giving her more. ($8 on $45 is pretty good for not getting what i wanted.) Needless to say, i won't be returning and I'll be going back to my nail place in New Jersey. I've been going here for years even when there were new owners. Ever since they've gone downhill. An appointment means nothing to them, from 30 mins to an hr wait with appointment just to be put in a chair for another 15-20 mins. Their work is great, however that doesn't make up for the "appointment" they promise, why even bother scheduling. This is my second time coming in. I got a full set with designs and ombré and glitter and they were PERFECT. I spent a bit of time in there but I was sat immediately and they had a bunch of little glitter things to add to your nails. I was surprised they had so much to chose from!
