I was in the middle of writing a 1 star review for this nail salon. I came back to the salon after my toes started chipping after a couple of hours. I could go into full detail about how the owner accused me of pulling my own nails off and chipping them myself while on vacation and refusing to fix them, but because Krissy is such a nice and genuine nail tech and actually helped me herself, I will not do that & gave 2 stars. She is truly the only reason why this nail salon does so well and the owner will be the downfall. If you see Tim, STAY CLEAR. He WILL give you an attitude and will embarrass you in front of the whole salon if you have a problem. I came to the salon and got a full set and regular polish on my toes (with no pedicure, just polish). I paid $70 total and left at 4:30 on Thursday 6/16. Within a couple of hours my toes began chipping whole on Friday 12:30AM (just a couple of hours after i left the salon). I had a 5AM flight the next morning which is why I was so upset and didn't contact that exact minute (because they were obviously closed at 12:30 AM and wouldn't be open at 4AM before I had to be on my flight.) I have time stamps and pictures that I showed the owner & he proceeded to tell me it's my fault. He refused to help me. Krissy took care of everything and even consoled me because of how embarrassing Tim is. Oh, Tim also took pictures of my nails on his own phone (I guess to use against me???) and then proceeded to yell throughout the salon about how I'm not staying to dry my nails after KRISSY fixed them. (He told me he wouldn't fix them, but I guess had a change of heart after he saw me on my phone typing) SO embarrassing. Everyone in the salon was uncomfortable because of him. The nail salon is very clean and quiet but one thing I did not appreciate is that I ask for what I want and they tell me what they think I should get. I have been getting pedicures done for a while now and I do not appreciate you telling me what it should look like or be. It makes the customer feel uncomfortable because we do not want to argue with the employee that has your foot in his hand. I just do not think I will be back. read more

I was honestly on the fence about writing this review because it's kind of a mixed one. Let me start off by saying that the salon is beautiful and very clean, and everyone there is professional and very polite. The woman who did my nails did a nice job on them and ultimately I was happy with my end result. That was up until my nails started breaking off not even a week into having them. They were pretty pricey, I paid $110 for a gel mani /pedi with acrylics on my finger nails with design. Quite frankly I was a little taken back by the price because even though I did get a design it was only on four fingers, I don't remember when nails ever became so expensive but it was never like this before. I remember the days where you could get a full acrylic set both nails and toes and it wouldn't charge you more than $65, including design. So I shrugged about it because I know that Bensalem shops can be a bit pricey. Okay well only four days later, I had 2 nails break clean in the middle, followed by one of them entirely popping off the next day, then two days later a third popping off. Also, I noticed once I left the shop that my design was actually backwards, I just didn't notice it while I was there or else I would have said something. So not only was I charged that much for a design that came out not matching the other hand, I also had nails begin to break only four days into having the set. I've been getting my nails done since I was a little girl and never had an issue with nails breaking or popping off like that that early into a set. Your nails should last you AT LEAST up to two weeks before they start needing to be re-done. I honestly did not want to write the review just because everyone there was very nice and she did work hard on the design, but unfortunately for what they are charging people I feel morally obligated to at least put the word out there that it might not be the best salon to go to if you're looking for your nails to last long. I would go back to enjoy a pedicure, but unfortunately I could never do acrylics here ever again after knowing what I experienced. I currently have SIX broken nails.. I got them done only 8 days ago. I'm sorry but that is terrible. And I am not being rough on them either, so I truly do not understand what happened here but I felt the need to say something because after spending that much and including a very generous tip I now feel almost robbed. read more
