The nail salon is pretty and smells nice. All the women are kind and sweet. I did get Acrylic with gel polish. Had a pedicure and both were fabulous. I've had the spa pedicure previously and that was incredible. Let me tell you, the head reflexology felt phenomenal. Especially when I'm prone to migraine's. I felt a headache coming on turning into a migraine and leaving with no headache!!! Health Insurance companies should cover this for migraine sufferers like me. This was my 3rd time giving this salon another chance. $148 wasted bc I'm now home taking it all off so I can do it myself. I will say the girls in there are nice but if you as a nail tech cannot do a great job on even simple nail tasks then I'd rather you tell me and I'll gladly sit and wait for an experienced tech. Been there 2 times so far. They have people like students doing an internship they charge at you at the door. My nails were done on Monday it they were good for my rush job. My feet were done the following week and the lady in charge probably the owner took care of my feet I have bad nails and she took the remainder of the nail of my big toes off and made them new again. I kid you not she did the Damn thing they look real and new. I will go back for both. Now the prices to me are a little high priced but these two times were worth every penny $60 but I haggled alitttle. I work next to the salon so for me it was also very convenient after work to just pop on over. The prices I guess are about average depending on where you go. I went to Lavendar Nails & Spa for the first time today. I just moved to the area. I have to admit I was completely spoiled at Elegenat nails in Carver and that will still always be the best, but this salon might become my local go to. I got a gel mani and regular pedicure. The prices are pretty average unless you choose one of their delux peducures. The woman who did my gel manicure (I didn't quite catch her name, tall thin older asain woman) was personable, professional and efficient. She put on at least 3 coats of gel and did a nice job with my pedicure as well. Also, regarding COVID safety it could not be better. Everyone wore masks even when not with a client. There are plastic shields at the manuicure tables and plastic curtains in between the pedicure chairs. Trust me, I am wear my mask, but when I have had on for 7 hours or more for work, it's nice to enjoy a salon service and relax with it off. I will be back to this salon. read more

I showed a picture of light pink/white ombré nails for my wedding day. The girl who did them clearly had no clue how to do powder or ombre but never said so. They were so uneven, bumpy, and looked like a pepto bismol pink color. I had another appointment so I didn't have time for them to fix them even after I expressed how much I didn't like them. My sister had already paid, they never offered a refund. All they told me is that they could remove them and paint my actual nails. I ended up having to spend way more money and time to get them completely redone elsewhere. I have been going here for pedicures for years and now I will never go back And neither will my sister, daughter, or anyone else from my family. So disappointed in this salon. read more

I've been going here when I need a quick mani or pedi for a few years. I've had some good experiences and some really bad ones. One time, in 2018, I had really long natural nails and the girl filed them so unevenly and misshapen that I came home and cried. I gave this place another chance because I like how they dipped your hands in the wax during a mani (I think they've since stopped this) and it was always quick. Additionally, my mom never complained, so I figured I kept getting unlucky. Well, I haven't had any polish/acrylic/etc. on my nails since September 2022. I went to get my nails done here in early December 2022, got gel polish, and it was fine, a normal gel mani. I went back right before New Years with my nails a little grown out, and asked for them to redo the gel, this time black sparkles. The girl then went to TOWN on my hand. She didn't soak the gel off at all, just started sawing it with the little circular drill. the pressure was so uncomfortable that my nail beds were red and damaged when she was done. I got a photo of the one hand when she walked away (pictured), the other hand also had redness in my nail beds. My nails also felt thin and flimsy (remember, my nails were bare for months prior, and have gotten long and strong in the past). I was very upset but always feel awkward complaining and they were already messed up. I let her polish them, and it was a sloppy job where I could see the sides of my nails unpainted. Additionally, when she was cutting my cuticles, as well as the girl in early December, I bled in multiple spots. The one finger bled so much that the wound kept reopening and bleeding hours later. Ever since I went for these pre-new years nails, they have been splitting off and cracking low down. I just cut them all really short and got the gel taken off somewhere else (where the girl was very gentle and I did not bleed). I'm done with this place for good now. I'm very upset at how healthy they finally were and destroyed just like that. They literally bend and snap when I do normal things now. I'm leaving 2* and not 1* because it is very clean and nice inside. ** updating feb 8 to add pictures of my nails 5.5 weeks after the black gel mani that destroyed them. Red and thin at the ends. Omg!!!! Awesome seems like an understatement to explain the Lavender Spa pedicure I just got. It was $50 for the special Lavender pedicure but includes 25 MINUTE LEG MASSAGE along with hot stones and paraffin wax on your feet. If you have an hour and want to feel totally spoiled you have to try it!!! My feet never felt so soft. Sandy did mine today and she is the best!! I've been searching for a place in the northeast that does stiletto nails properly and doesn't rush pedicures.. Let me just start out by saying how much i love lavender! Everyone is very nice and friendly! Lisa is the only nail women who does my nails prefect and meticulous. I am in the beauty industry as well. She never rushes and always takes her time! Yes I might be there for two hours sometimes but it's so worth it! (Refill & Spa pedi) I would rather go to someone who's going to take their time and do exactly what i want.... I've went to a lot of other nail salons. I've always gotten stiletto nails that were on the shorter side! Everyone one else said " you're nails need to be long for stiletto!" Not Lisa! My friend and I visited Lavender for the first time a few days ago. To say our experience was horrible, would be an understatement. The nail tech who I had service me happened to be the "manager". Before starting my manicure she sat on her phone in front of me and checked her notifications, that should have told me something. I have cuts all along my cuticles from her snipping them (I left bleeding). It looks like I need a refill already because she used the electric file and literally took polish off. Unfortunately my friend had a worse experience. Her nails (gel powder) were completely cracked and after THREE HOURS the woman said she would redo them. Instead of redoing the whole process she asked to just have them put gel polish over top. Her gel polish came off the next day. We paid over $70 to have a terrible experience and now have to pay even more money to go somewhere to have them done correctly. read more

My daughter needed a refill and her normal place was a 2 hour wait, so we figured we would give this place a try. Since we were literally 2 minutes away. They said they had no wait and that it would be $15 for a refill. So we get there and they tell us to have a seat and someone will be right with her. Two other people walk in about 10 minutes after us and they take them right away. I figured maybe because they were getting pedicures and had different people do them so I let it go. A half hour goes by and another woman is waiting to have her nails done, so they try and take her first. So I speak up and they finally take my daughter. Like I stated she only needed a refill. Well 2 hours later they are finally done. Her nails are now crooked, she is bleeding and it still looks like she needs a refill. We asked the tech to fix them, which only made it worse. Then they tried to charge my daughter $28 for a refill. Not realizing that I was still in there until she called me over. I said I called and was told $15, they said well it's $3 for coffin. I said so that is $18 not $28 and they said no it's $28. I ended up paying $18. They were trying to rip off my daughter. We will never go here ever again. read more

She stops serving me , says I'll be right back , One Minute ..... she goes to another station sits down and starts doing her nails , wrapping them in tin foil , she finishes her and then takes her to the back at the pedicure chairs and stats her hot water while discussing what color would she like . She rolls up her pants for her client Takes her sock and shoes . My daughter says to me .." mom where is your nail person !?" And by the way , the woman who was doing my daughters nails who I assume to be the boss was truly turning , squeezing my daughters hands and knuckles My technician comes back I told her that What she did was completely unprofessional and reminding her that I am her present Climet and that I do not appreciate you leaving me to sit here for 10 minutes or so . I told her forget the gel polish just to finish the manicure. She ZIPPED through my nails like she was on fire ! No clear polish , barely pulling at my skin to give me a manicure . I came here for a manicure and they were able to take me right away however rushed it to the max. Each nail was a different length and I had to keep asking her to even them out. The polish was too thick and they didn't thin it out so it made for a very messy paint job. Best manicure I've ever gotten. However, evenings and weekends, be prepared for a long wait - this place gets packed! Also, not all the employees know English very well so it's hard to communicate what you want. They call one of the few employees that do know English and you kind of have to play telephone to get the message across. Also, not all the nail techs know how to do acrylic nails. I waited about 45 min after my pedicure for a nail tech who knew how to do acrylic to be able to do my manicure. Aside from those two points, I have to say, it is the best mani/pedi I've ever gotten. The manicure comes with a paraffin dip, hand massage (common) ad a mii back/shoulder massage (not common). The basic pedicure (not to be mistaken for the "regular" pedicure) is only $20 and the regular includes a timed 10min massage ad is only $5 more. A gel manicure and pedicure is only $40 and is $5 off if you pay with cash - what a deal! And you'd think that for that price, the manicure wouldn't be so good. But like I said, it was the best manicure I've ever gotten and is now my go to spot. read more

The salon was spacious, bright, and clean. I got a mani/pedi for a really decent price ($25) -- they also give longer than usual massages -- which is awesome! Admittedly, not the best mani/pedi I've ever gotten, but it was still good and with everything being said, I'd come back. Personal preference: I'd prefer to work with 1 person throughout, but I had a difference person for each service and they weren't really busy. I love coming do love coming here. Their system is the best. I love their manicures and their pedicures. The only problem I have, would be the employees. It's a hit or miss. Either they are really kind and deserve a $5 tip, or they are really disrespectful and make u feel like a $1 is too much to give them. You have to do your job to ask the questions because they will not tell you anything. This is for the salon: have some patience, it's a spa I should not feel rushed. This place is new. Is very clean very friendly they do a wonderful pedicure if you get a spa pedicure and a Gel manicure is very poor. I've been getting them done since I've had my acrylics taken off which was back in August. Every time I get a gel manicure I have to go back and have at least one or two nails repainted because they chip! They try to tell me it's because my nails are weak! Great nail salon! So happy I was brought their to get my nails done for a wedding. They have multiple pedicure options - i messed up and got the basic one as opposed to the regular. The basic does not include a massage which was super disappointing. The gel nails were great and am very happy with the result. My only complaint is the bride was getting a full set so she had to wait for someone who could provide that service.. I ended up having my nails finished before she even began. For two years, I came here every two weeks to get my mani & pedi & wax. I even brought my friend from Jersey here along with me. On a typical day, my services would be well done and I would tip well. But last week I was pressed for cash and could only afford to cover my services without a tip. I assumed it would be OK, because I am a regular and I would make up for my missed tip the next time I came. But the lady that did my nails was very rude and even yelled in her language when she saw that I didn't tipped. She even refused to sign the rewards card I have with them, which they must sign after every visit. I was utterly shocked at this behavior, and did not feel like my patronage was appreciated. She did not even touch my heels, did not file my toenails and it is the worst polish job ever! I have to go pay again somewhere else to get another pedicure.
