I was looking for a slow and relaxing afternoon, and cuticle corner gave me just that!! After browsing polish colors, I was serviced by Lea, who was just so great. Recommended colors to help enhance the glitter color I chose, and she went above and beyond truly!! My nails were so short and weak but the gel building helped 155%!! A gel manicure that peels in under a week is pretty bad. Waste of money & time. In addition, in taking off my existing gel polish, they used a nail file which left my nails thin & weak. So much for trying a new place. read more

Inside of 2 weeks and for 2 people: 3 gel manicures, 2 "forced spa" pedicures, waxing. Cons 1) gel manicure peeled off in one week. Told the woman who was doing another gel manicure for me bc, well, the first one peeled off. She said she wouldn't charge me for this new one bc the last one was not good. I was charged anyway. $30 2) The eye rolling and generally disagreeable demeanor of several of the women who were working was fairly unpleasant (mind you, this is a laughable first world complaint - I get that). My daughter and I rarely get our nails done, so it was a treat for us. The people who did my daughter's manicure and pedicure were fairly rude to her (she's a very sweet 12 year old); I was particularly annoyed by this - and their rudeness was particularly obvious. 3) my daughter's pedicure is already peeling. We were there on a Saturday. It's now Tuesday, 3 days later. 4) I did not ask for a "spa" pedicure. I never do. They gave me one... and charged me $34 for it. Pros 1) No TV (I really liked that fact). 2) Two of the women who worked there were quite nice and obviously skilled. I got one of them for my manicure this past Saturday. This used to be my go to place for manis and pedis. They were great when they first opened many years ago but not anymore. They changed management so many times and the women that work there now are miserable and I don't think they know what they're doing. Each time I've left there after a gel mani my nails would start to chip the next day. Just terrible service and terrible workmanship. They need to just shut down altogether. read more

My nails never looked so good. They do a great job. They are friendly and professional. I have brittle nails and Joyce uses something on my nails under the polish that keeps them from breaking. I had tried a few other places when I moved into this area. Cuticle Corner is so much better than the others. read more

Two times I have been there and left annoyed. The one time I was literally in the chair getting my nails done. I told them I needed a wax, they told me to come back later because they were getting busy.....really?!?!?! Then, I said ok give it a second chance. I walked in, not one of the employees looked up and greeted me, I had to speak up and tell them what I needed done. Finally someone respondes and said oh there is a wait come back in an hour. I totally understand there can be waits, but to not be greeted. When they responded it was like a chore for them to take a few minutes to address me. I would NOT RECOMMEND this location. read more

Terrible. Went here for an acrylic fill and specifically told them I don't do gel polish because I can not have the uv light on me (I've had melanoma). The nail tech told me my acrylic was poor and she needed to use a better ($$$) kind. I said ok not realizing she used some gel that, guess what, required uv light. The total cost was $20 more than normal acrylic and barely lasted a week and a half! I just busted off the new "special" acrylic from one of my nails and I don't even know how. I got a pedicure, it's $27 (but manicure and pedicure is 35) girls that were there a good 10 mins before me finished up and bam I was done at same time. Maybe bc I'm a guy but it was very rushed and not a good experience compared to cheaper places I have been. I've gone here a few times, when they've had groupon offers. I've always had a good experience, they're good about doing upgrades such as going from a manicure to a gel manicure for an additional fee. Amy does an amazing job. Her gel manicures have easily lasted me 3 weeks, and I'm very rough on my hands (I work in a hair salon). She also does great pedicures with hot stones. read more

Just had a pedicure here. Very clean place and matter of fact service. Toes look great! When they were drying the nail tech gave me a nice back rub. Will definitely go back when in I'm in town and needing a little tlc for my toes. read more

Two strikes and I'm not going for a third. If you go for their $35 mani pedi mid week special, don't expect good service, It was rushed, no effort to remove dead skin on your feet and the manicure was bad too. The top coat did not reach the ends of the nail and it looked horrible when it dried. The main color was put on very thick so it took forever to dry. I prefer not to get gel because I need to remove polish, when I want, for work. No fan in between coats like other places do but they had one sitting right behind the desk! I was definitely rushed out of there. My first strike was wanting to be a walk in that they say they take, and when I walked in to everyone sitting around doing nothing, I was turned away because an appointment was coming in in ten minutes...ok, what is everyone else doing? Its a shame that unless you are one of their regulars that stores their own equipment on their wall of drawers you don't get good service. read more

I've been going here for almost 10 years. I get pedicures here about 4 times a year (maybe more). I love how very clean the place is! Someone is always disinfecting something or other when I'm there. The nail technicians are efficient and very good at their job. The regular pedicure comes with a hot stone massage and a nice neck rub while your toes are drying. It's a great place! read more

I had a great experience at this salon. I used a Groupon and thoroughly enjoyed the pedicure and manicure treatments. The polish job is the best I've ever had. One week later and my fingernails are still without a chip. I found the service friendly and comparable to other nail salons I've been to. I will definitely be returning. Is this place under new management? I have been going here for over two years, absolutely loved this place. So much so I hosted my friend's bridal party of 9 people here today. However the prices, and appearance was not the same as when I got my nails done a month ago. Compared to other salons around the area, cuticle corner is one of the more expensive but I have always felt it was more than worth it for the quality of service we always received there. Once I received the total for my bill I was in compete astonishment, never has a manicure and pedicure cost $58! The service was not up to standard, the nail techs were unfriendly and forceful when handling our feet and hands. The quality of the product was poor, several hours later the brides gel manicure chipped! I was so excited for my friend to be pampered before her wedding and this was such a disappointment. After two years of being a loyal customer getting services almost every other week myself, mother and cousin will not be returning unless these issues are resolved. read more

I recently purchased a Groupon and since I was in the area I went to the salon without making an appointment first. I knew there was a chance that they would not be able to take me, but I figured I would give it a shot. When I walked in to the salon, no one greeted me. It was actually very awkward and uncomfortable. So I said hello first and asked if they would be able to help me. They said yes and asked me to wait 15 minutes. I had no problem with that and the 15 minute wait ended up being only a 5 minute wait, which was great. My nail technician was not friendly and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. My pedicure, which was a hot stone pedicure, took about 15 minutes. It was very rushed. I could understand if there were people in the lobby waiting, but at this point I was the only customer in the salon. The manicure was equally as rushed. Overall the quality of the work was good, but I would never go to this salon again. I felt so unwelcome. Even at the end when I gave my technician her tip, she acted like she was doing me a favor by accepting it. It was just very odd and uncomfortable. read more
