What stunk was the amount of drilling, sanding, and buffing was far more than I would have ever wanted. My natural nails are so weak now that my nail beds are sore to touch and bend every time I touch something. I grew my nails out to the length of my preference and now I may have to cut them down and start over. BEWARE: If you want your natural nails to have strength, don't let them near you with that drill or sanding box.

Also, what's crazy is the entire application of oil on only one of my legs was spent on one calf and she probably spent 3 minutes on my other calf. This was a really, really, really bad experience. I want someone who knows how to do the service I pay for. He clearly did not know how to finish the nails. One hand has huge, fat nails and the other hand is slim and elegant. My thumbnail was massive on my right hand. I asked him to file them down. He said my right thumb was too wide but he would fix it... eyeroll... he only filed that one and barely knew how to use the filing machine. First, I was not offered any beverage or hospitality during the appointment. More importantly, I had to specifically request a paper receipt after payment. Upon reviewing the receipt after leaving the salon, I discovered a 2.25% convenience fee had been added to my transaction without any prior disclosure. When I called to inquire about the charge, I was immediately offered a refund. However, my concern was never the amount itself. The issue is transparency. Customers should be informed of any additional fees before a transaction is completed so they can make an informed decision about whether to proceed. There was no signage posted at the register, and the fee was never verbally disclosed during checkout. Additionally, staff engaged my minor child in personal conversations regarding her appearance without first addressing me as her parent. As we were leaving, we were also repeatedly encouraged to leave a 5-star review, which felt uncomfortable and inappropriate. Businesses have an obligation to be transparent regarding pricing and fees. Undisclosed charges, even small ones, undermine customer trust. I believe customers deserve full disclosure of all fees before payment is processed, not after they review their receipt. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we may think twice about returning.
