I wish I had trusted the other 1-star reviews here. What I received was shockingly underwhelming for the price I paid. The bouquet was tiny, the flowers are already old, yet the cost suggested something much more substantial. The pricing vs. quality feels completely out of sync, and the presentation did not match expectations at all. This location is the much worse lotus florist than the Brentwood mall location. This experience felt misleading, and I wouldn't come back or recommend it to others. RUN. UPDATE: In response to the manager's private comment--some issues can't be resolved behind the scenes. When customers pick up flowers they've paid for and pre-ordered days in advance, they reasonably expect them to be fresh and presentable. Receiving withered blooms and leaves damaged by insects on an important occasion is unacceptable. Not everyone has the time to wait for a fix, especially on the day the flowers are needed. This review is public and remain on the top so future customers can be aware of real experiences and make informed decisions, rather than risk running into the same situation. Natalie is kind, generous and very knowledgable about her craft. I stopped for some flowers for a friends birthday and she put together a beautiful bouquet that was so cute and colourful! She even added a pink celosia for free! It's evident that she cares about her customers and is grateful to be apart of every milestone and celebration. And the owner went above & beyond by adding on more flowers, misting it, and bagging it all prettily for us since it was a gift. I had come to get sympathy flowers, but wasn't sure what I wanted except for the traditional white lily. The lady at the counter was helpful and showed me the lilies and what options it could be matched with for fillers and foliage. I ended up with a bouquet of lilies with baby breath and leafy greens. The flowers were decent, but a few stems were not the freshest. I was impressed they were able to help me immediately, and was pleased I did not have to return. I don't buy flowers too often, but the price seemed okay and with the Yelp checkin discount of 10% off I was happy with the price I paid. The lady was not too sure about the discount, and requested that I email them a copy of the coupon so she could show the manager before she applied it. Will be back if I need flowers again in a pinch! read more

Helpful, polite, attentive, quick, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended! I dropped by earlier today to pick up some flowers for someone who had just went through surgery. At first, I wasn't sure what to get but with a little help from the owner I was able to find what I needed. I picked five roses to be made into a custom arrangement. The owner was incredibly helpful and dropped what she was doing to help me swiftly and proficiently create, on the spot, a beautifully arranged bouquet. Each individual rose even came with its own water! I can't stress how well she created a wonderful arrangement from a few flowers! Overall, wonderful service, and I could not be happier. I will most certainly return. PS they also have some wonderful dried flowers which make for incredible decorations. read more

Not being a local, I did some research on flower shops in Vancouver, BC and came across Lotus Flower Boutique. I wanted flowers for a girl I've been seeing so i had went into Natalie's boutique with an idea for a bouquet and I ended up something even more amazing. Natalie is awesome and has a lot of patience. I spent about 20 minutes in her shop, bouncing off ideas with her on different flowers, colors, and even the wrap. I gave her my order and went back to pick up the flowers in the evening, after my movie date. Here's were Natalie is such and awesome person. I had shown up minutes after closing time and Natalie reached out to me to see if I'm still picking up the flowers. Then she came back to the shop, reopened it, just so I can pick up bouquet and present it to my date, that same night. Thank you for everything Natalie. We live at the apartment complexes near by and my boyfriend decided to buy me flowers here for my birthday last Sunday (of the shop keeper is reading this you will know that this is a legitimate review by the orders places). It was a dozen of red roses. To my dismay the roses were all opened already. The leaves used as decorations were also old, and I can see the stems and parts of the leaves that were dead cut... I can't believe they would give this to customers. The roses only really lasted for 3 days. By the 4th they were dying and drying up and had to throw it away. I felt like these were "left over" stock and she gave us the tail end. Save your money - go to Costco, they have fresher flowers that last longer. We will not be coming back. read more

The initial conversation was great. Let her know that I want a blue hydrangea match with some white florals. Second bouquet I didn't have a specific colour, but I pointed at the Crimson roses, and said absolutely not that colour! Would love purple themed. On the day of pick up, I got a bouquet of (1) blue hydrangea! with an assortment of other random none white flowers. The second bouquet didn't have the Crimson roses, but it had a bunch of crimson chrysanthemums mixed with orange flowers. I was most disappointed, these flowers were for mother's Day. I paid $50 each. Maybe I don't know the price of flowers these days, but $50, only got me (1) blue hydrangea, is that not absurd? And the Crimson orange bouquet didn't have any outstanding species of florals..... This shop is either not to what people have listed as a $$ shop, or it wasn't calculated correctly. The batches I get on South Granville had lilies and peonys, with $50, I had a few stems, not 1! read more

Excellent arrangements, if they do not have what you are looking for, they DO go out of their way to make what you want happen. Ive found the GoTo florist here and having experienced others in vancouver/burnaby/surrey, from experience I can say this is by far the best place to go. My business has switched our weekly orders to Lotus' arrangements and cant be happier. read more

So patient and with good ideas - from colours to flowers to type of ribbons to wrapping details; ones which I may not have envisioned myself. my parents have both prearranged their services at forest lawn before their passing. their package included flowers. but when it came time to choosing from their booklet of arrangements, i felt they seemed a bit boring and generic especially for the price point. fortunately, they allowed us to opt out for that so i was able to choose my choice florist. the flowers at both my parents' services were full, colorful and sophisticated. we had many comments on how beautiful the arrangements were. ty lotus flower boutique! read more

The customer service was excellent! Friendly and free of attitude. Over the phone, I asked for a $95 arrangement after tax for pick up later the same evening. It was beautifully designed and filled with fresh, quality stems. They didn't load it up with cheap fillers, I thought what they included fair for the discussed budget. My experience here was not the greatest. When I walked in, the place was empty. It took a few minutes for someone to come out from the back. I ask the lady there about a beautiful bouquet arrangement I saw on their website. The lady informs me that they did not carry the same flowers in the picture; which I didn't mind because it was easy to find a replacement. The lady also told me that the roses they had were currently bigger so I would have less roses than what was advertised on their website. Then, I asked about the yelp 15% off discount. The lady tells me that she knew nothing about it and that I would have to wait to speak to her manager (she also did not know when her manager was coming in..). Since I didn't feel like bargaining and wasting time I just asked if I could arrange my own bouquet. The lady seemed quite annoyed because I kept asking her questions on the arranging and pricing. This was my first time buying flowers so I needed the extra help and the store was empty so who else did she need to help!!? In the end I paid $70 for 10 roses and some fillers. I don't know if that's worth or not because I have no experience in buying flowers. I mean they looked beautiful and were very nicely wrapped. Not sure how I feel about this place. read more
