This is a great floral place for nice bouquets and arrangements you would like to send to your loved ones. they have quite a large variety including beautiful tropical flowers which is a bit more of a difficult find post covid. Their service is friendly and reliable. Tooka makes sure that your floral arrives on time and as fresh as possible. the cost is quite reasonable for what you get and there are small items you can add on to your floral arrangements as well. read more

Tooka has a good variety of plants in bouquets, pots, etc. The store itself is very pretty inside (good presentation and organization). They had autumn-themed flowers which was perfect for the event we had to go to. They had exactly what my mother-in-law wanted (Yay!) Prices are reasonable in my opinion considering the quality of the service and presentation. The owner, Nazanin, was a pleasure to deal with. She was not only friendly but she also took her time to wrap our bouquet nicely, and make suggestions on how to present the orchid and the best way to take care of it. She was very professional. Street parking is limited during busy hours. We were not able to find a designated parking spot behind the store's building, but I'm not sure if they have one... read more

The staff at Tooka Florist went far above and beyond what one hopes for in customer service and creativity. I am sitting here on the other side of the world from my daughter in hospital. The staff at Tooka (particularly Lindi) made it a mission to create a gift that would bring our love and some comfort to her. From "Pearl" the cuddly bear to the Tim Tams, puzzle books and chocolate you created a masterpiece of love. Thank you all! Donna from Australia read more

I called Tooka in October for a Thanksgiving Arrangement to be sent within one day. Tooka was amazing. I told her the colors that would be best for my friend and she made the most amazing centerpiece in a White Pumpkin. It was gorgeous and my friend was overwhelmed with it! We included a candle with pine scent for Christmas and she was thrilled. After Thanksgiving the White Pumpkin went right through Halloween. My friend added some fun black feathers and Halloween decorations. Tooka could not have done a better job!! Will absolutely recommend her!! Candie Udell read more

Horrible staff specially during this pandemic they have so little empathy. I called form USA to ask if they can deliver flower to my mom and i choice them b/c the person who picked up were Iranian and he said he was one the owners, he was the only nice one actually, his name was Mohssen I believe. I had to answer another call so I said I call you back and when I called back I spoke to Persian girl. very rude and heartless. I was told that she and Mohssen are the owners. I called back again just now and spoke to Mike which is was even worst than her. I asked can you please whats app me picture of the planter you have since that was only thing you have within my budget and he refused and said we are not allowed and if Mohessen told you he can , he would be fired. I said is't he one of the owner? he responded no Amy is...I said well please have Amy call me back. I need an Iranian to deliver this since my mom does't speak english, he was so rude and insensitive. I said listen I am paying almost a dollar to call you form USA ...can you please help me out here and just txt me the pic of your planter which you do not have avail on line. he refused and kept arguing with me. I asked to have Amy to call me back and he said "nope not going to happen" Amy if you are reading this ...I hate to say that your flower shop customer service specially during this crisis that people need to be nicer and more understanding is horrible and really hope you will be one the business that goes out business. Your employees are horrible and if you are the Persian girl I talk to yesterday, you are not that much better either. No one should buy flowers from you guys. I told Mike I am going to write a review and this entitled kid said "go head" very disappointing ....for sec pay attention to what's happening in the world and show kindness, he could of easily txt me the picture instead of arguing , your staff and you Amy need to be more human than ignorant heartless people. please North vancouver specially Persian community DO NOT BUY ANY FLOWERS FORM THIS PEOPLE. and this is why people do not support their community because instead of you being nicer and understanding ...you act so selfishly specially now .I am also sending an emails to everyone i know i Vancouver to make sure they NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. Now Mike ..."will you tell amy to call me back ?" you horrible heartless selfish rude human... Who is the owner ? Nazaneen or amy or Mohessien??? I will make sure you no one will buy from you . read more

This is close to the hospital. I came here to get some flowers for a friend who was at the hospital due to a sporting injury. It was also a tie in with Chinese New Year, therefore, it worked out perfectly. He is going to be fine and has a lot of company, however, I was so busy during that period with school and work that I FELT a little guilty about not visiting so I had some really nice flowers delivered. The customer service was awesome and they walked me through some options and a cool way to incorporate Chinese New Year into the theme. read more

Received delivery of floral arrangement in a pumpkin as the vase. Pumpkin rotted in 2 days - there were flies and a mess on my wood coffee table. called the store and they said come in to get a bowl to hold the flowers. When I went to the store, they refused to give me a bowl (even a plastic one) and then said it was my fault because the pumpkin and flowers are supposed to be put outside and not inside the house. No instructions to this effect came with the flowers. The owner said this is common sense and was rude. read more

I complained about getting wilted roses on Mother's Day and I emailed the florist twice and got no reply..... Sara from Tooka called today to apologize. They could not get to their emails due to a system failure and she sounded really sincere about the whole thing. I was very happy that they showed serious concern about an unhappy customer and I was impressed by their effort of reaching out to a dissatisfied customer. She even proposed to send me a fresh bouquet to make good for the bad one I got. I told her that was not necessary. But within a couple of hours, someone came to my door with a dozen fresh roses along with a written note of apology, compliment of Tooka Florist. I am impressed. That shows how serious they are about their reputation and goodwill for their business. Yes they have gained a customer, for sure. read more

This company is the most disrespectful, unprofessional company we have ever seen. We ordered a premium bouquet of 28 stems of alstroemerias for our father's birthday through a major online company from London and Tooka was their representative in Vancouver who delivered a dying, embarrassing, 10 stems of not even a standard bouquet. When we called them to ask for an explanation and a replacement they completely ignored our request and instead blamed it on the online company and said we should deal with them ourselves and then they hung up on us. We should not be the subject of miscommunication and lack of management between the two. We only wanted a nice bouquet for our father and we paid about 100 pounds for a bouquet that was a disaster. Tooka didn't take any responsibilities even though they know exactly what we ordered. We are so disappointed of this company and will never buy or recommend anyone to buy anything from them. They have no costumer satisfaction let alone a costumer delight. read more

I remember the day I went in for a consultation - I had no clue what I was looking for and I did not know anything about Tooka florist and I had only a week left before my engagement ceremony. I only knew what I do not want. Nazanin was able to patiently sit down with me, look at a few pictures I had found on Instagram or Pinterest, and figure out exactly what I wanted for flowers and made something even more amazing than what I had in mind!!! It was a dream come true. My flowers were beyond beautiful! The place looked like HEAVEN after they brought the flowers, the colors were just breathtaking... She designed my table arrangements, the bridal bouquet, flowers for the cake and knife and headpiece flowers and we received so many compliments for each of them. She is such a sweetheart, she was even present at my place at the time of delivery on a Saturday morning and I didn't have to worry about a thing! I only saw her once but I think it's not just the great taste they have in flowers and design, Nazanin & her husband and Mom are just full of love, and I think that's what makes their work magical! Good vibes in their flower shop. I am very glad I trusted her. Extraordinary... read more
