They have a great intro special and with the membership or even if you're paying for a class, there are plenty of other studios in the area such as Englewood and Ridgewood if you aren't local to Montvale. But this particular one is so amazing and great staff and customer service. I downloaded the app but it is not necessary. It is very easy to sign up for any class and you can cancel within two hours to avoid being charged a cancellation fee. When I attended, I stuck to the back of the room so if I needed to sit down for a minute or slow down I wouldn't be distracting anyone behind me. However, I've noticed everybody is just in their own mind space doing what feels comfortable for them. That said if you have any hesitations or nervous to start, don't worry. You will feel included and extremely comfortable. And let me tell you, sweating like nobody's business. ............. I have since tried several other classes, and found all the instructors are really great and you can go at your own pace which is super important, especially when starting out. I am actually becoming obsessed.

I've done yoga only a handful of times in a class and I've mostly followed along with yoga videos on YouTube. I wanted to learn proper yoga poses, not just go through the motion. So I searched and tried a few studios, Life's Tread Yoga was exactly what I was looking for. Adela explains each pose so well. Even what appears to be a simple pose, she will explain and make sure that you do it correctly. If you want a teacher who will give you individual attention, adjust your pose as needed, and also work with your limitations, you must check out her class. She uses many props so most poses are very accessible even for a stiff and inflexible person like me! As I get older, I worry about injuries from exercise but with Adela, I have complete trust in her. I don't hesitate to push myself because I know she knows what I can handle. And she really knows her anatomy. She used to train professional football players! But most of all, you'll love her positive, patient, and gentle energy. Her studio is in an adorable butter yellow house and there's no sign. Use the back door to enter the studio.
