They were all really positive so I decided to try them out. My stylist was Olga, and she was just wonderful. I went in with a inspo pic of what i was thinking of, and she really made it happen. My inspo was pretty blonde, and she told me that realistically it wasn't going to happen in one session, but she got me closer than what I was and it really looks beautiful. She's also so sweet. I visited the Lotus Den for the first time and was truly impressed. The front desk was friendly, the wait time was minimal, and the space itself was clean, cute, and very welcoming. My stylist, Jessica, really listened to what I wanted and gave me one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time--light, fresh, and exactly what I'd hoped for. The cut is flattering and easy to style at home. We talked about the products I use, and I appreciated that she offered guidance without any pressure to buy. Ironically, that made me trust her even more, and I ended up purchasing two products! Parking was a little challenging, but definitely doable--just give yourself an extra minute or two to find a spot. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Really cool space, with good vibes and friendly atmosphere! I got a chocolate balayage and a haircut. The balayage came out really beautiful, but I'm not 100% satisfied with the haircut. I admit it's partially my fault, so that's why 4 stars. I asked for 3 inches off the bottom with layers, the shortest being at the collar bone, and face framing pieces. At the end she explained what she did and offered to take off more of the bulk of my hair. I did want more layers, but I was surprised to see how short it was. I said it looked good because it was a nice haircut. At that point I was away from my baby for several hours & was scared I was going to walk out with even shorter hair. TLDR: Nice haircut, just not what I wanted. Hair grows back, but still a bit sad it's so short. read more

I just got my hair cut and colored by Ava last week. It was a fantastic experience and she understood EXACTLY what I wanted. I was a bit weary about getting a balayage due to past experiences at other salons but she set me at ease and reassured that I had picked the correct color. My partner has his hair cut by Katy and really likes the vibe of Lotus Den, so I made an appointment with Bethany to do my highlights. She is awesome. Fast and efficient but very fun to talk with. She is the owner and has a lot of demands on her attention, but that never takes her away from the job at hand. The end result was great. Then, I broke my elbow in a bicycle accident and was unable to wash and dry my hair. Each week I came to Lotus Den to have Jessica do a wash and blow out, She is so sweet and Shari, the manager has been so sweet. It's always a healing experience. I look forward to my next highlight.
