This is a useful grocery store for cooking ethnic foods. If you like making sushi , Arabic cuisine, Thai food, Indian foods, or otherwise you have come to the right store. This location isn't their best store but it does the job. I find it busy most of the time. Definitely worth stopping by. read more

Groceries are pretty good, huge range of all markets (countries), pretty much find what you want! Quite a busy place! I'm particularly writing this review for the indian Cafe in the grocery centre located at the corner after billing counter! They have the typical indian pastries, chicken puff,panner puff, chicken -kheema puff,egg puff! We even got the go to Indian curries (chicken curry, shahi panner and cut Mirchi) these were tasting so good, freshly made and so reasonable.the curries are priced at $6.99 each! The cut Mirchi was ok types! But remainng stuff was quite good! read more

Terrible customer service Korean pop music was blasting so loud I asked the gentleman if you could turn it down please he said yes but they never did I asked the Indian guy what he what it was that he was serving he said he doesn't have time for me and he's closing so it was really rude and the store had two more hours to go before they closed I do not recommend this place and I would never go back and their prices are extremely too high just so you know I just bought some fruits and for one person it was $30 read more

Good to see Lotte plaza is selling international food items and fruits. But this one.. Indian mango.. @ $29.99... this comes with sealed that we cannot open. This place rules!!! They have this thing called the mushroom festival (sometimes) and the staff sets up stations in the very front with a wide array of mushrooms to try. They even wear Super Mario Bros. plush mushroom hats like it ain't no thing!!! When my budget is about tapped or I'm just feeling lazy about dinner I will buy giant bags of frozen dim sum dumplings here and bags of baby bok choy for less than $10. Lots of good deals here and sometimes they place Saturday night fever soundtrack over the music system. read more

If you want bad rotten fish, then buy there.....if not, then buy elsewhere. Fish that is suppose to be firm is coming out very mushy with no flavor when cooked. $9.00 worth of fish thrown in the trash after being cooked. Getting a refund on cooked fish, would be like pulling teeth, so why bother. I won't be back and would never refer my friends or family to this place. I think they try to preserve bad fish by putting stuff on it. A friend of mine had the same problem with her fish that she bought there and ending up throwing hers in the trash also. These were both fish that are suppose to be firm and white inside. They were dark gray inside and falling apart when cooked. How can you mess up a white fish like whiting. Plus it's cheap anyway..... and they are trying to sell it after it has gone bad...just throw it away for Gods sake! I would never ever shop there again.....I mean never! read more

It's smaller than the Lotte in Centreville, but I find the variety better and inventory well-stocked. It resembles more of H-Mart rather than Lotte. It is also cleaner and not as hectic as the Centreville location. read more

It's much smaller than the one in Chantilly but this one is also a lot less busy. The produce was being restocked as I was shopping but the selection seemed smaller than the Chantilly one. I was only there for a few items and I was able to find everything I was looking for so aside from the smaller store, a little less offerings by way of the meat and seafood department this deficit was compensated by the clam of the store and super quick check out. read more

This is one of the larger Lotte plaza out in NOVA. I walked in expecting wide selection of Korean/east Asian ingredients but they tried to be international grocery for every foreign country out there. As a result, you find limited selection at less than attractive price. Definitely taking my business elsewhere next time. read more

Decent. They have a wide variety and I could find pretty much everything I needed. I've still yet to check out Super H which I definitely plan on doing, but this is right down the street so it wins for me. Quality of products continues to be good. Vegetables are fresh. Prices are generally on the low side. The Indian and Korean food in the food court area is always good. One major area of improvement is customer service. First, the cashiers need to learn not to blame the customer for everything, particularly when there is an inconsistency on their side. For example, prices in the aisle sometimes don't match the scanned price. The cashier is rude about it and refuses to verify or even cancel the transaction with that item. I've seen that happen with us and other customers. Next, if a customer decides to return or exchange an item that has been scanned, for whatever reason, the cashier starts complaining. There are two or three sulky cashiers who need to be trained. The rest of the staff are friendly and polite. Overall, this is a good place to shop groceries. Great place to dine-in. read more

Great selection of ethnic (mostly asian) foods at reasonable prices. The produce seems to be hit or miss but frozen and dry stock seem to be fairly reliable in terms of finding what I'm looking for. So if you're looking for something more exotic than what you'd find in a Giant, check here. It can get fairly crowded though so be prepared to have to dodge people coming around corners. read more

I wish I could give less than 1 star, but that is not possible. This particular store in Ashburn Farmwell Hunt Plaza is worst of the worst. Two problems: 1. What they sell: Be very very aware of the items that you purchase. I saw items past expiry date, and quite of few of them with no expiry date on shelves. I am not certain who is running this show; way too much greed in play and absolutely no sense to ethics. After posting this review, I shall do my bit in make authorities aware of this and lets see how it gets addressed; but as a fellow shopper, consider yourself forewarned. 2. Who sells it to you: Even after you read everything and verify each purchase, be aware that if, god forbid, you ever are in a situation that you need to return, exchange items or ever need to speak to Customer Service for an item that you purchased. Thats another hell hole from which there is no escape. The "manager" is unable to manage and workers are meek spectators of the manager's whims and fancy. I would consider it a win even if you could "communicate" with these guys, let alone getting your issue resolved. Horrible place and horror of a customer service. I am not sure how is this place still running. Hopefully not for long or not before some systemic changes. read more

I wish we had one of these where I live. I love how there's a variety of things! I'm of Southasian descent but my family shops at Korean and Chinese stores too. I appreciate that this place sells Indian stuff too and it's not that dirty. Unfortunately Indian/Pakistani grocery stores aren't that clean and are a bit shabby. So this was really exciting for me. I love the multiculturalism of this store! And so many samples! read more

This Lotte is significantly smaller than the one in Chantilly. The aisles are a little cluttered and messy. The products are waaaay too spread out in random aisles. Very little organization. The parking lot is big and roomy though! read more

Finally got a chance to stop by this place on Sat afternoon. The store was not extremely busy (compared to Chantilly), but ran out of carts. I've checking out to see if carts were pushed back to store for 10 mins, but no luck to get one. Selection is much less than Chantilly. Produce were not fresh. Place was dirty. Although I had few things in my basket, finally decided to put them back to the shelves. I will never shop there again. read more

I've noticed that the place is a bit smaller than the Chantilly location but cleaner and less busy. It also has an extensive stock of Indonesian groceries which the other locations don't have. According to on of the workers there, they just started recently. This is a huge plus for the Indonesian community in the DC area especially since the Asian Store in Rockville went out of business. read more

So much cleaner and nicer than the Lotte in Chantilly! The Indian section seems larger, or maybe it's just the organized layout. (In comparison to Chantilly Lotte, which is like a zoo in every way imaginable). The East Asian section here seems a bit smaller though, but has a majority of the mainstays. Prices on produce are great, but most of it is not local USA produce, despite what their sign says (I'm speaking about common American-type produce. They have a plethora of specialty Asian and Indian produce that is obviously only grown abroad). I know, I know... this is a store where 90% of the products are imported, but still, I prefer to buy my fresh produce local (emphasis on the term "fresh"). I bought some regular garlic and realized it was imported from China of all places (odd for something as common as garlic) and their lemons and limes are often imported from Israel/middle east. If where your produce comes from doesn't bother you, then no big deal. But, I've saved the best for last. The whole reason to come here is the little independent Indian cafe right when you enter the store. They have an assortment of delicious cakes (slices and whole) and all sorts of yummy looking Indian bakery goods. They make fresh roti, which looked amazing, but sells out quickly! But hands down, you must try their cafe food as well. The curries are reasonably priced (most under $8, which is good for for Indian in this area), but the chicken curry wrap is AMAZING. Curry chicken (a little spicy, but not overwhelming), lettuce, tomato, finely sliced cucumber, some delicious sauce, all wrapped in a fresh Indian style pita bread (a little different from middle eastern pita, it's a little fluffier), and then they grill the wrap so it's a little crispy on the outside. DELICIOUS. You must try. It's worth it to go to Lotte just for this little cafe/bakery. And the young woman behind the counter was so friendly and willing to explain anything you might be unfamiliar with. There are also tables and chairs to eat there if you want, but it's in the middle of a grocery store so not the best ambiance. read more

As usual like all other Lotte Plaza,during the inauguration they promised a lot about their prices as cheapest in the market and products are of best quality.First two months they advertised the lowest price in news paper and other displays but now they are like blood thirsty sharks. Neither their products are cheap nor the produce is fresh.The prices are ridicules and very high compared to any other substandard grocery store.Their weekly advertisement in the paper is also misleading.In simple words if you have fancy money to spend, this is the right place for you. read more

Please watch every single item being punched on your bill. I ignored couple of extra items in my bill that i never purchased but it is becoming more frequent now. My last bill had additional items that i never purchased. I paid $15 more for these items. Sad that they do this to customers... please watch out. read more

I had been waiting for longtime to see if they can improve, It gets worse n worse every week end i go there . Rotten Tomatoes, Rotten Apples , Rotten Eggplants . I have to spend so much time picking few of them and they are pricier than at global foods . At Global Foods i can complete my shopping in few minutes. Comparing with Global , the indian food items and drinks they are pricier from 20 cents to $2 depending on the items. Though Lotte is much closer to my house , i will never shop there again.
