I often shop at a Wegmans store in the Baltimore suburbs, but we don't allow wine or beer sales at grocery stores in Maryland, so this was the first time I had seen a Wegmans wine selection - and I was impressed. She was thoroughly impressed and on top of that, we managed to get out of here without a cart full of snacks. But still, so much to browse on here. Sushi, cheese, fresh grab-and-go heat-and-eat food, great wine and beer including a huge section of non-alcoholic options, pizza, fresh deli, a tremendous produce department and a massive butchery with fresh fish. There's just so much here. And Wegmans doesn't cut out on checkout either. Despite the store being rather busy on this Saturday afternoon, there were plenty of registers open and no queue at the self-checkout. Impressive. Getting out was a little bit of a challenge as Village Market feeds into the small mixed-use "village" they have adjacent.
