Cheese burger
Tallulah B.

My hamburger got mayo on it when I asked not to. They also put blue cheese instead of ranch on my friend's dad's food when he hate blue cheese. My friends order was correct and me and my mom split the huge hamburger. Their fries are really good though they taste good. Over all it's okay.

Great place in Arvada. Located in the Five Parks area near Standley Lake, Lot One brings a whole...lot. Brunch menu was extensive with so many options to choose from. While I had food envy from my fellow diners' order, really the food here is terrific. The server was absolutely fantastic. She checked in frequently with our group of 5 and was on top of things in terms of customer service. She was very kind when I had to return my Greek Grilled Cheese because the bread was burnt. She made sure to get a new one out to me asap. Pro-tip - the Greek Grilled Cheese, while it sounds tasty, is really hard to get right in terms of flavor and cook time for feta. Not my most favorite dish even after it was remade due to the burnt toast. Brunch cocktails are on par. They make a great, spicy bloody mary. (add the bacon for $1 - it is soooo worth it) Lot One also makes great espresso drinks. If I lived closer, I would stop here before work for my caffeine fix, It is a great space with lots of seating - inside and out on the patio. I will definitely be back.

Went here for brunch with a group of 5. The brunch menu has plenty of options to appeal to various tastes. Bottomless mimosas are reasonably priced at $15, and creative cocktails are also a brunch option. Our server was terrific. She was friendly, super attentive, and apologized when one of the meals had bread on the sandwich that was burnt. I had the Goat Cheese Leek Omelet, a favorite on their menu since opening. Inside the folded eggs are grilled tomato slices, shaved leeks, creamy goat cheese, and an arugula pesto on top. Paired perfectly with crispy breakfast potatoes, this plate will leave you satisfied.

Came her for happy hour with a friend. The place was pretty busy at 4:30p ish but we were seated quickly. What we swallowed: *MARGARITA: Yum! It was so good and hit the spot. *FARMER's CHEESE: Yummy cheese with honey and grilled bread. Soo good. *BLUES FIRECRACK SHRIMP: Shrimp with spicy sauce and crusty bread to dip. Yes please! *PARMESAN TRUFFLE TOTS: These were sooooooo good. I mean, crispy tots and a hit of truffle. Now I'm craving these! Our server was great. The atmosphere was chill and my company was ever better. Love it here!

Huge portions. Split plates if you don't eat gigantic meals. (Hate to waste food) All our dishes were seasoned well! Plenty variety and unique drink concoctions.

Wedge salad

Food is generally good offering a variety of options. The wedge salad was fresh and the dressing light and a thin consistency. Service was decent as they seemed to be busy so not a big deal. Overall it's a great local option!

A super fun place for brunch! They have a cool patio if you can get a spot and the bar area is hoppin'. The waitress was awesome and was on top of our bottomless mimosas! The green chili was really good, not too spicy. All the dishes were really good and they have a good assortment of sweet vs savory

I walked into Takiza expecting... nothing special. You know the vibe--new taco spot, cute name,…read moreprobably decent, maybe a little overhyped, I'll sip a beer and mind my business. WRONG. IMMEDIATELY WRONG. This place said "lower your expectations so we can absolutely destroy them." First of all--Karina. Bartender. Waitress. Possibly a time traveler?? This woman was at every table, shaking cocktails, dropping plates, checking vibes, probably solving world peace in the back between orders. GIRL. HOW. DO. YOU. DO. THIS. Fast, sharp, funny--Karina is the moment. Promote her. Protect her. Build her a statue out of limes and taco shells. Now let's talk about the chicharrones, because this is where we separate the amateurs from the legends. This is the one thing you cannot fake. Either you nail it or I start planning my dramatic Yelp exit mid-bite. These?I nearly fell clean off my barstool. CRUNCH that echoed through my ancestors. Juicy, decadent, perfectly salted--OH. HELL. YEAH. I haven't had chicharrones this good in years. YEARS. I blacked out for a second and came back whispering "we're safe... dinner is going to be amazing." Then the street corn showed up like it had a personal vendetta against bland food. Juicy, messy, unapologetic. I'm talking juice dripping down my elbow, chin glistening like I just ran a marathon through a summer street fair. I could feel the heat rising off imaginary pavement. If your food doesn't make you slightly feral, what are we even doing? And then, brace yourselves, the street tacos.FRIED. OUTER. SHELLS. WHO gave them permission to go this hard?? I stared at them like they just told me a secret. Golden, crispy edges with that soft, flavorful center... I was not emotionally prepared. Asada tacos? Oh she's elegant. She's balanced. She brought friends: fresh lime, guac, onion, radish, slaw, pickled red onion--like a full cast of characters and every single one understood the assignment. The steak? Tender, flavorful, not out here fighting for attention. Just a lovely, confident bite. We love a secure queen. Now... ceviche.Listen. I am insufferable about ceviche. I know this. I accept this. It was good--delightful, even--but I like mine to slap me across the face and steal my wallet. This one leaned a little sweet, a little polite. And I'm over here like, "where's the chaos?? where's the lime that makes me question my life choices??" Remember the rule: pain and poor decisions.(In my food. Relax.) Final verdict?Takiza did not come to play. It came to dominate your tastebuds, ruin lesser taco spots for you, and leave you texting Karina like "u up?" 5 stars. No notes. Okay... one note:I will be back, and I will be hungrier

Beware the bait and switch "birthday gift". Totally false advertising and for a "buy one entree…read moreget one free up to $20" and (no exaggeration) 10 text messages reminding me to use my "coupon" they comped us a single $5.50 taco. Good way to make sure customers never return.
