Churros (8) + Sauce (1)
Vinia N.

i would leave 6 stars if i could deadass. i dont even like churros like that but this place is mind blowing..... so light crispy and fluffy.... try the guava it surprisingly worked (porto's guava pastry vibes) and the service too they are so sweet. this place deserves a line at all times and i would wait.

Favorite churro spot, freshly made to order can't get better than that. Story behind owner's recipe is beautiful.

This was 8 churros with ice cream and chocolate dip

Best Xurro I've had in SoCal. The flavor was great and not too sweet. They also have different dipping sauce ( chocolate, caramel, strawberry, guava). The price were very reasonable $8/8 churro/dipping sauce. I would definitely recommend them. The guy was so friendly. His business partner went to Spain and got the recipe. It's so good.

The BEST churros in LA. Even better than Disneyland (that's saying a lot coming from me.) The churros were perfectly crunchy with a soft, warm inside and the dipping sauces (strawberry + guava) just elevated the sweetness. Even without the sauce the cinnamon was perfectly dispersed. And what a deal! $8 for 8 churros. The guy running the stand even gave us some stickers and made us feel super welcomed. Will be back!

Delicious churros and amazing customer service! The owner, Eric, is so friendly, down to earth, and kind. We really enjoyed chatting with him while he made our churros. Everything is super fresh, vegan, delicious dips. Highly recommend if you're looking for a sweet treat that'll make your day!

These are the best churros in LA. The food and service here are exquisite. Most people will walk by and miss this but this is a true delicatessen. A box contains 8. Just as good as the food is Eric who handcrafts these churros. Quite frankly, they're the best I've had in 8 years of eating churros in LA and if you're in West LA you need to come here after 6 with a quickness. Thanks Eric!!!

Definitely the best churros hands down. Perfection to say the least. The customer service though is unmatched. You need to come down and meet Eric and Andy personally and grab yourself a box of churros and some of their dipping sauces.

Delicious churros! You wouldn't know how good they are until you bite into it and hear that crunch. Great flavor all around! Underrated!

Delicious churros! Underrated! Little mom and pop stand in the Ralph's and Staples plaza. The guy was chill and easygoing. He gave me a stamp card and sticker of the business. Wished there were places like this in the SF Bay Area. Options include 8 pieces with dipping sauce for $8 8 pieces with dipping sauce and a small ice cream for $10

Churro box with lechera And guava sauce

Owner is really nice and friendly, he recommended the guava sauce and it's surprisingly good with the churros, churros were perfectly cooked,

I wish they have this pop up in San Diego!!! Yummy fresh vegan churros cooked to order! Eric was so friendly and helpful! The guava sauce was the bomb!!! It tastes like it has a hint of passion fruit. I wish it comes with more sauce! I should have asked to buy extra. When we got there they already sold out of the chocolate sauce. Eric also instructed me on reheating the churros in an air fryer for the next day. Looking forward to my next trip to LA to buy more xurros!!

It's been a while since I tried some incredible, savory churros in the area. While shopping at Ralph's, I came across the Los Xurros stand and I couldn't resist buying some. The owner is incredibly friendly and willing to assist you with your purchase. I got a churro box, which includes 8 pieces for $8. You can also add ice cream to your churro box for $10. Then you pick your dipping sauce (chocolate, strawberry, caramel, or lechera/condensed milk). I opted for the caramel dipping sauce and it made the best combination with my churros. They're crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside... delicious and sweet! I had a couple and then saved some for later. Since they were cold, I put them in the microwave for a few seconds and they were still delicious!! I will be back when I have my next churro craving.

These churros are VEGAN and the BEST vegan churros out there! He serves vegan and non vegan sauces. No non-vegan could tell that these are vegan! SO delicious. Incredibly personal service and genuinely so kind!

I hear the line gets insane here, but we got lucky on a Wednesday evening at 7:30pm and were able to order right away. I ordered the carne asada burrito with cheese added and it was incredible. They handed me an open face tortilla covered in meat, had me add my own toppings at the condiments table and then they wrapped it up real tight for me. It was massive and lasted me two meals. My friend ordered the al pastor burrito and there were massive chunks of pineapples added on top. She was a fan! Next time I will try the tacos, as that is what this spot is known for. Despite this being a taco stand, there was a decent selection of provided chairs and tables. We took our food to go, but lots of patrons were eating outside. It smelled amazing and everyone working there is super nice. The tacos are $2 & filled with meat. I ordered 4, but only finished 2 and the next day the corn tortillas held up so well after I reheated it. Which is solid because most street tacos tortillas will usually fall apart. They had option of hot sauces, including a mild cactus hot sauce. Also a variety of toppings you can stick In a little bag instead of using those plastic ramekins. This is a cash only establishment but they take Venmo. I will absolutely be back more often since I usually never have cash on me, which is why I didn't go over before. This is truly such a LA Vibe for amazing street food.

I had ingested several bites of it, (with hot sauce), but I couldn't take another bite. The meat was chemically contaminated & I got sick not long after for the whole night. It was important for me to tell the person that runs the stand. I had the best of intentions to help this business and wanted nothing in return. I walked up to the stand & asked the woman who takes the cash, (with the sharp eyebrows), if I could please speak to the person in charge, (or owner). At first she ignored me & then said, "I don't understand - no speak English." I asked who speaks English and she sent me to the back of the line by the cooks. I stood there for another 10 minutes and no one wanted to talk to me or answer my question. I told them that there was a big problem with their meat the night before & had brought back the entire meal, so they could try the meat. No one did anything except talk to each other in Spanish, (which I understood). The cook graciously offered me a replacement meal & tried to problem solve. The tall man, who spoke English, (as shown next to cashier Karen in the photo), was going to give me a replacement meal. I waited 15-20 minutes. I asked for the chicken quesadilla, and the vitriol that came out of cashier Karen, who said she didn't speak English was unbelievable. She refused to give me any food and said I had to pay $6 for the replacement taco. I tried to tell her that it was a replacement and she kept yelling aggressively at me and said, "no - you pay $6. You're not getting anything " and that I, "never bought any taco." She became angry and verbally abusive because I was getting a replacement meal, as a solution to my getting chemically poisoned. She was a bully and aggressively yelling at me to humiliate me in front of the other customers & personnel. By this time she had no problem speaking English. (A group of young ladies started talking to me, felt bad that I was the focus of cashier Karen's rudeness. They complimented me & wished me a good night.) The guy next to cashier Karen handed me the bag with the quesadilla. I asked cashier Karen for her name and she ignored me. Then I asked the guy next to her what her name was and he put his hands together like duck lips and rudely opened and closed his hand at me, (meaning that I'm talking to much) This was extremely inappropriate & as soon as I left, I threw the food out, because I didn't trust or hold it past any of them to have put something nasty in my food. By the way, there was never a possibility that I would be refunded. By this time I was so upset, I was sorry that I had generously tipped them the night before. Even cashier Karen's response to the tip had been of surprise; but then I remembered she had not even acknowledged it or said thank you, after receiving it. What this staff does not, is that I owned and operated a successful fine dining restaurant & wedding venue for 17 years. I have done consulting for small restaurant businesses, pro bono, in order for the businesses to financially thrive. I know how food is cooked, how it should be stored, when the oil needs to be changed, marketing, accounting, et al., as well as the health dept's requirements, in order to keep the public healthy and well. What I believe happened to the meat and reason I took my food back to the taco stand; is because they had been out of chicken. Since there was a meat shortage, more carne asada needed to be barbecued quickly. An abundance of lighter fluid was used to quicken the process & it possibly got on the grill, where the meat is placed; and the cooking process started well before the coals were ready. It shouldn't matter whether you go to a restaurant, food truck or taco stand, customers should be treated with respect, kindness & consideration - and it's called customer service. A customer shouldn't be lied to, yelled at, insulted and humiliated by any employee of the business. It should be run in a transparent and professional manner. I'm 64 yrs young & have never written one negative comment or review about any restaurant. Nor have I ever been treated with such disrespect, malice and ill intent. I felt it important to tell my story because nobody should experience what I did; in eating compromised food and then being made to feel like I did something bad. This is what bullies do and I've never had a problem in clarifying right from wrong, as well as responsibility and accountability. I didn't have a choice and had to give a star.

Yes, they do vary, ranging with the number of table options and meat with an occasional fatty/chewy part. However, luckily those marginal days are limited enough to keep my wife rolling with me. The truck puts out a nice spread of salsas, chilies, and sides. My wife really likes the potatoes and nopoles. I like the green salsa (which appears a bit spicier than the red) and the roasted jalapeños with onions. On those really special nights, they have the a very spicy chopped habanero chili salsa that will burn you a new one. Yes, habanero is one of my biases to move this truck to five stars. After a night of drinking and having a good habanero sweat, it makes the reward complete for those difficult weeks. As far as the meat, I can only speak for the carne asada and pollo. The steak is mostly consistent with being lean, flavorful, and tender. My wife gets the chicken which is lean and not goopy. She's picky when it comes to her meats. I cannot speak for the pork options. The tortillas are not soak in oil and/or fat when they warm them on the grill. Only one tortilla is used per taco (which is our preference), so be careful with loading them up. I've been eating at the local trucks and taquerias for the last seven years, and this one is my default go to for grabbing some carne asada tacos. This truck has evolved some during that time from when they were off of Bundy and Nebraska, but they have remained good. I stopped by to grab dinner with a friend, and was surprised at the amount of food we got considering the prices they were charging. We started off with a sizable Cecina Taco ($1.50) that came with two layers of corn tortillas, thin Oaxacan marinated pork, pico de gallo, guacamole and a drizzle of mole on top. The marinated pork was meaty and tender but the salty marinade was one-dimensional at best. The guacamole was not as thick textured as it should be, but the sweet flavors overlapped nicely with the pointed onions, cilantros, and chunky pieces of cecina. It was mouthfuls of deliciousness. I also ordered a Lengua Torta ($4.50) that looked like a humongous whopper with wide torta buns, a spread of black beans, chunky lengua with easy to shred texture, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, and mayo. The buns were a tad on the frail side and I'm not a fan of lettuce in tortas or other types of sandwiches. However, it is the largest torta I've seen in a long while, and they also threw in a lot of chips, pickled carrots, a jumbo jalapeno, and a side a dull spicy lingering salsa that could use a hint of smoke to complete the value meal. Overall there was little to complain about as they were very thoughtful at wrapping our food so the temperature and freshness can be maintained without making a mess by the time it was brought home. The best part of the meal was their bottled non-dairy Strawberry Horchata that served as the perfect finisher. I love horchata and have been struggling to find the non-dairy version so from now on I'll know where to get it. To sum it up, I'd characterize their cuisine as one that puts a strong focus on freshness, good value, and a breadth of ingredients that were tasty when layered together. I can't say this trick is better than the authentic taquerias in the Mission District, but for a food truck, their extensive offerings beat the heck out of the many gourmet trucks where a generous wholesome meal and hard to beat prices can be expected. I'd love to return to try their Tlayuda and Tasajo plate.
