I'm going to give the rating mostly based on food since that was the most positive. First, parking is atrocious. Got a spot thankfully but the lot is very awkward. We walked in past the 6 tables to the back where the stand is and were told we could seat ourselves. Mind you, 6 tables fill the restaurant, that's it. Odd? Felt like it. Some tables outside in the blazing sun, no umbrellas, weren't gonna cut it. Chose a table and definitely saw minimum 6 different staff, seemed a bit much for 6 tables and here's where they need a lot of work...no one person seemed responsible for anything. They all seemed to be aimlessly walking around. We were out of chips and salsa and had to ask 3 times for more. One person at our table was using the restroom and thats when the waitress asked for our orders?! The menu was fairly minimal, which is fine but not representative of a typical mexican restaurant. We ordered some chicken dishes, a burrito and enchiladas. Portion sizes are not huge but not tiny either. Food tasted good, not earth shattering and definitely not very authentic. Pipes from the ceiling above us leaked consistently onto the table and our shirts from condensation. Frustrating! Bathrooms were very clean. Just not super impressed. Would I eat here again if that's what everyone picked, sure. Would I go there of my own choice? Not likely. Too small, staff is far too green and there are too many other places that really outshine this one. I truly hope they do well, but not likely. read more
