Tiny Ass Umbrella and Ice Cube's a Pimp are hazy IPA's that are smooth and delicious. I am very impressed with these beers and will be back to try more.

This place is awesome! My husband and I grabbed beers here on a Friday night. The beers are delicious, the space is cool, and the owners are the best. The place was packed, but we got great service. We loved the beer so much that we bought 3 packs of cans to go. We served them at a party at our home the next night and they went quick. The flavors are so on point, and the Southern Range beers are the best. This place is a must try!!

Another one of those breweries that's out in the middle of nowhere (sorry Monroe) that you wish was so much closer!!! I just happened to be in the neighborhood on the way back from Wilmington. I had previously had one of their IPAs at a tap room near me - and thought "who are theses guys - this beer is really good." Out front is a fairly large patio with picnic tables and umbrellas. Wait a second, was I just misted? Oh, yeah - they have misters. Average size tap room with all current beers listed on the screens. My flight consisted of all IPAs. The menu is pretty heavy on IPAs but these guys know how to make good ones, so I can see why they stick with that formula. If you're good at something, why not do it all the time? Flights come in fours here. Mine: 1) Softer than Alize with a Chaser - awesome, light (only 20 IBUs) - session IPA 2) Bittersweet Hophony - I think it's their flagship IPA - not my favorite but solid nonetheless 3) Citratron NE style IPA - now we're talking 4) Unicorns and Lollipops NE Style IPA - this one was the Holy Grail - so damn good - so good I bought a growler and gave it to my Peeps at Birdsong Brewing to have for after shift staff drink. And... I had a full pint of Now That's What I Call Juice (Guava) - another solid NE (a bit sweeter/brighter than the others) that apparently is so popular they can't brew enough of it. So word on the street has it that they're looking at real estate for a tap room in Charlotte. Hooray! In the meantime it's totally worth the trip from Charlotte!

It always brings my heart joy whenever I stumble across uncharted territory and discover a new beer! Today happens to be one of those days. I'm very grateful and blessed to say that I got to visit Southern Range Brewing today in Monroe, North Carolina. The brewery is ticked away to the side of the main road, if you don't have a GPS yiu might be jebuo doing some searching, but it shouldn't be too hard to find. There is plenty alofnoarkint available for guests. I can only imagine how busy Southern Range gets on the weekends. The brewery promotes a saloon style vibe, as the inside appears like a classic Wild Wild West saloon. I really liked how easy it was to choose from the available beers, the menu is legible and attractive. Big thanks to a Justin for helping me with brew choice. Im thrilled to crack open a caco if this Guava IPA goodness! :)

    Dead roach in pint glass

Rude bartender and roaches in pint glasses.... We went a couple of times and while the atmosphere was meh, but we went back for the beer. Just went to swap out some busted merchandise I purchased as a birthday gift for my husband and the bartender was a total jerk. He was the guy who sold me the merchandise and was an rude then too. He even asked if we had a receipt for Southern Range merchandise with tags still attached. Also, hope you like roaches in your pint glasses.

Monroe definitely needed a brewery--and this is a great establishment. I'm very much interested in going back. There didn't seem to be much on tap for those who weren't a fan of the IPA or Stout style beers. I tried the Orange, and it was good--but I was looking for something a little lighter. They do have some guest taps, but I was really wanting to try Southern Range brews. They have a nice outdoor space with corn hole, and inside they have TV's a large bar and board games. There is definitely potential there, I plan on going back.

Food truck and a delicious sour!

I got there early and sat at the bar. Wasn't crowded yet so was served right away. I tried the spinach and artichoke dip and pepperoni flatbread, both were good. I didn't partake in any alcohol but they have plenty of wine options and a few cocktails as well. The whole vibe there is great for girls night, date nights or just solo. Great ambiance.

Gross. Was not able to drink the wine as per my research, a disintegrated cork is indicative of a larger problem. I tried calling back multiple times but no one answered. UPDATE: I called multiple times the next morning too and finally got through to the rudest man I've ever had the misfortune of speaking to. He was in an immediate hostile, angry, and yelling state. I was bewildered. He said he was the owner. I told him what happened. He NEVER apologized. He was hostile and yelling when he told me to bring the wine back in if I wanted my money back. I told him driving with an open container was a felony but if he wanted to get it I could meet him in my neighborhood (where I could walk and hand it to him). He misunderstood and yelled that he's not coming over to my home. I knew then that there was something seriously wrong with this guy. He seems very MAGA which is ironic given that most of his patrons are "non-MAGA." I even called the police asking for assistance. They told me not to drive with an open container. I went to this place after reading the good reviews about the music and the wonderful service from the woman owner. So I asked to speak to the woman that was indicated as the owner. He angrily and loudly refused. I had to hold the phone away from my ear. He acted like I was at fault and bothering him. He was the one selling bad wine and greasy food (now I question the food after dealing with the owner). He told me not to come back. And I won't. He finally told me to pour out the wine and give him my Venmo details. But I just called back and left him a mailing address so he could mail back my money. I feel like crying and have a headache now. I don't deserve this. I feel like I've been punched. I have never been so disrespectfully treated.

The food is over the moon delicious with plenty of options and reasonable serving sizes. Even with the slightly high price point, it is well worth every penny. And they take allergies SO seriously! Literally went through a bunch of ingredients to find what would and wouldn't be dairy-allergy safe. Atmosphere is fun but cozy, too. 100% recommend! In-depth: Postino has quickly become one of my favorite places in the CLT area after my 10/10 experience here. To start, the food. My word, it's amazing! Everything my friend and I tried was delicious. The bruschetta is 100% worth trying (the spinach artichoke one is my favorite), and the west coaster panini + romaine salad was tasty at every bite. Their wine is also good quality, with a decent-sized portion poured. Allergy safety is a major thing for them, too. Our server (Lee = the best waitress!) and her manager looked through their bread and ingredients for about 30 minutes to confirm what was and wasn't dairy safe (I asked how dairy allergies are handled for when I bring my husband next time). They also had quite a few gluten-free options, too. The manager explained that she wants people to be able to just come in and relax for a few hours without worrying if they'll get sick, which I truly, truly appreciate. Lee shared a similar sentiment, which was amazing. Now price... Yes, it is a *bit* pricey, but it is well worth it. Nothing felt lacking as far as flavor goes, and the allergy safety is a huge thing. This is one of the few places I felt my sandwich and salad were worth every penny, even if it was $17. Also, their rewards program is great. I got a free bruschetta board, and they offer several other perks. Make sure to sign up before or while dining there to get some good deals! In addition to their sincere care for allergy safety, the service is fantastic all around. They do group service, meaning you'll have several servers, and they encourage you to grab anyone if you have questions. This takes the pressure off of waiting for one server to walk by and really helped me relax. And the atmosphere? I could stay there all day! It's a really fun vibe, but the lighting and seating are very cozy. Overall, I've already recommended this place to 5+ people and will be returning soon

The staff was amazing and I was astounded by their dedication to their craft. The best part was the food. We started with the chefs board which had an array of cheeses and spreads. The most memorable was the whipped feta. OMG. The Ambiance was the only thing I feel could use some tuning as there's not enough sound deadening to make the music out? It sounds like a heart beat and makes it hard to make out conversations. Major shout out to Leigh for taking care of us all night and making it a memorable night. Also big thanks to Odhie for the tickets to the concert. This was definitely a night to remember. Thank you Postinos Staff!

I had bookmarked this spot due to its decent Yelp reviews and since it was within walking distance of our stay, and open, we decided to go here. What a great spot! Our server Angela was nice and attentive. We ate and drank inside, which was great for us because my GF didn't want to deal with bugs and 73° outside was too warm for me... We were seated at high top tables near the bar. Pretty cool interior space, lots of wine on display, and one wall was covered with old wine boxes. It wasn't noisy at all and it was nice not having to shout over a booming music. As for the main event, the food and wine: 1) I'm writing this pretty buzzed so my recollection may be hazy, but I got the "Here Comes the Sun" flight and my GF got the "Bubble Me Up, Scotty!" flight. Not only a good value (3x 2oz tasters for about the same price as a glass [6oz] of wine), but all six of the items in our flights were quite good. We ended up getting two more glasses each of our favorites of the three (Lambrusco for the missus, Grüner Veltliner for me). As for food: I got the shrimp cocktail (4.5/5) and my GF got the lamb sliders (also 4.5/5). And we split a Caesar salad with grilled chicken, which oddly enough to say, was the best Caesar salad we've ever had. Perfect dressing-to-lettuce ratio, the dressing was excellent, and the grilled chicken was perfect. And then we got 4 doughnuts for dessert. We are only here for five nights but I'm sure we will be back. 5/5 would definitely recommend.

We were greeted warmly and escorted to a table right away. I chose the bubbly wine flight and the chicken Milanese. My husband chose the rigatoni and a German pilsner. We shared our meals because they were both so flavorful but at the end were still a little hungry and wished there was bread service available to order along with the meals or sides that we could add to our meals for a little extra $. We did notice that on the menu for the burger, you could add a side of fries for $3. Otherwise the appetizer of fries goes for $13. We ended up ordering a slice of the chocolate cake. It's a slightly dense version with ganache and was very good. Overall we were so happy with our food and drink choices and look forward to coming back. The only little disappointment was when I made the reservation, it asked if there was a celebration and I checked the box that it was a birthday celebration. There was never a "happy birthday " wished to us or any mention at all. In no way, do I want or need somebody coming out and singing happy birthday to me but it's always nice when a restaurant will actually wish a person a happy birthday or maybe give a small dessert after the meal. I specifically look for restaurants that do this when choosing where to eat for a special occasion. So will I come here again? Absolutely, it will go into the regular rotation. Will I choose Foxcroft for our birthdays or anniversary? I would probably choose somewhere else where they acknowledge it.
