I love this place. The staff is always welcoming and helpful and the beer selection is fantastic. The owner knows a lot about the beers and they have such a great assortment it would be difficult not to find something for everyone! No food, just some snacks you can buy but the atmosphere is cute and there is plenty of food and food trucks in the area! They even have live music and trivia nights. Great place and easy to find parking!

Incredible Wine & Beer self pour in downtown Monroe. Across from the courthouse and easy to walk around town. It was obvious the owner was present and he was very engaged in his business. Pet friendly , friendly faces and parking available. Great for self & entertaining friends. Will go again and again.

This is our favorite bar in Monroe. It's always impeccably clean, the owner is friendly and helpful, and the beer selection is always great.

It's amazing that you can pour your own beer & wine! How many taps do you have?

30 taps! Five are wine with the other have beer, ciders, sours and a seltzer. Most of what we carry is local craft products but we always have one or two reserved for a major brewery. The lineup is always available on the Untappd app.…

Every FOH staff member was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is adorable, funky, hip, and fun. The food?! Yum! Had vegan grits and vegan chorizo on top. My bf had a breakfast biscuit with egg and idk what else because I was too busy looking at the stickers, decor, etc all around us. Picked up a housemade ciabatta and wow! Too good. Will def be back when in town! Forgot to take pics sadly.

It is in downtown Monroe with street parking and some public parking lots. Our daughter said she has been there around 11:00am and got a spot on the street right in front. It is very eclectic with decor and items for sale. They have indoor seating, seating along entrance hall and outdoor seating. You order at one counter, which has a large menu boards above the counter. The young lady that took our order was very nice. You pay over at the bar area. It was not busy at the time we were there. I had the Salad Sandwich. You can get it with chicken salad, tuna salad or chickLESS salad. I had the chicken salad in a spinach wrap with lettuce and tomato. There are other bread options. The wrap was filled with the chicken salad. It was nicely seasoned and tasted really good. My husband and daughter both did the Pick Your Burger, a build your own. My husband had the burger with bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, grilled onions and pepper jack cheese. My daughter added bacon, lettuce, grilled onions and provolone cheese. They both said it was a great burger. We enjoyed our food. Definitely will come back.

We arrived about 7:30pm on a Friday evening. Parking was easy in a nearby lot and we could hear what sounded like live music as we walked toward the building. Sure enough, lucky for us, a live duo was playing on a small stage in front of the outdoor seating. "Sweet Talkin' Johnny" began singing songs from Tom Petty and we knew we wanted to sit and listen for a while. The interior is decorated with fun pictures throughout, which we loved. The portrait of Kramer from Seinfeld was perfect. My wife also reported the women's room has the famous picture of a naked Burt Reynolds from the Cosmopolitan magazine circa 1972. The men's room has the vintage classic poster of Farrah Fawcett and artwork of a dude on a toilet. We did not ask much about their variety of beers after finding the "Big Ass Umbrella" IPA, but we believe they have 16 taps, which, we think include both a variety of their own beers as well as other hard beverages such as seltzers and ciders. They also have a cooler full of assorted 4/6 packs which can be purchased. Tonight we were fortunate enough they had a food truck/trailer serving Nashville Hot Chicken in addition to the live music. Overall, an awesome experience!

We were shocked to see some of the negative reviews that claimed it was a racist place & couldn't believe it since we have been here for 2 decades & never experienced any real discrimination. We walked in & saw people of all different races & backgrounds. We were greeted with friendly faces and a hostess who was a person of color & VERY friendly and welcoming. Our server was also a person of color & he was outgoing, friendly, attentive & flat-out terrific. The food was great, the Tsunami sauce is phenomenal. I think it's unfortunate that people will assume racism or bigotry when they simply just had a less than desirable experience. Our experience was top notch & we'll definitely return!

Their location, IMO, is not ideal making them a destination and not a passersby decision. That said, great food is paramount to draw the crowd, and unfortunately, their fare is good, but not great. There's a ton of places just like it in Monroe. Sorta the "been there, had that" type of cooking. Too much is frozen food from Sysco and dropped in the fryer. That ain't cooking. While I enjoy my visits here, nothing has my "Give 'em a Whirl" meter shouting, "Bro, did you see what Southern Roots is whipping up for the weekend?"

I got there early and sat at the bar. Wasn't crowded yet so was served right away. I tried the spinach and artichoke dip and pepperoni flatbread, both were good. I didn't partake in any alcohol but they have plenty of wine options and a few cocktails as well. The whole vibe there is great for girls night, date nights or just solo. Great ambiance.

Gross. Was not able to drink the wine as per my research, a disintegrated cork is indicative of a larger problem. I tried calling back multiple times but no one answered. UPDATE: I called multiple times the next morning too and finally got through to the rudest man I've ever had the misfortune of speaking to. He was in an immediate hostile, angry, and yelling state. I was bewildered. He said he was the owner. I told him what happened. He NEVER apologized. He was hostile and yelling when he told me to bring the wine back in if I wanted my money back. I told him driving with an open container was a felony but if he wanted to get it I could meet him in my neighborhood (where I could walk and hand it to him). He misunderstood and yelled that he's not coming over to my home. I knew then that there was something seriously wrong with this guy. He seems very MAGA which is ironic given that most of his patrons are "non-MAGA." I even called the police asking for assistance. They told me not to drive with an open container. I went to this place after reading the good reviews about the music and the wonderful service from the woman owner. So I asked to speak to the woman that was indicated as the owner. He angrily and loudly refused. I had to hold the phone away from my ear. He acted like I was at fault and bothering him. He was the one selling bad wine and greasy food (now I question the food after dealing with the owner). He told me not to come back. And I won't. He finally told me to pour out the wine and give him my Venmo details. But I just called back and left him a mailing address so he could mail back my money. I feel like crying and have a headache now. I don't deserve this. I feel like I've been punched. I have never been so disrespectfully treated.
