First off it was a steady flow of customers for a Wednesday evening. Many birthdays! We were sat immediately and waiter came to take our drink order. I ordered the shrimp fajitas and my husband ordered the chicken and steak molcajete. Our food was brought out super fast! The portions - humongous! But the food is so good! My husband is super picky when it comes to Mexican food, and he said this molcajete is his favorite so far compared to other Mexican restaurants we've been to. The bright colorful colors and great music selection really make it joyous and fun dining experiences. Highly recommend.

A Delicious Stop After the Farmer's Market!…read more Stopped by Mas Bella after the farmer's market and had such a great meal! We started with three drinks: the Tullum Bloom, Strawberry Margarita, and Strawberry Lemon Drop. All three were delightfully fruity and refreshing, making it hard to pick a favorite! For food, we ordered the birria bao buns, shrimp bao bun, chile relleno, crispy beef taco with refried beans and rice, and camarones with refried beans and soft tortillas. The birria bao bun was my absolute favorite! The mini bao is packed with flavorful birria, and I absolutely loved the consommé they serve alongside it for dipping. It's such a fun combination, and that consommé takes the bao to another level. I also really enjoyed that they make their salsas in-house. They served both a verde and a roasted red salsa with the buns, and both were delicious. The chile relleno was another standout. That melted, cheesy goodness inside was everything you want from a chile relleno! The crispy beef taco was an unexpected winner. It was served with what seemed to be the same delicious birria-style beef, so it was instantly a favorite. The crispy shell paired perfectly with the tender, flavorful meat. The camarones with soft tortillas were also really good. The shrimp were well seasoned, and the soft tortillas made them perfect for building little tacos.

It's fairly new to this location and I've been passing by it several times on my way home, finally today I decided to pull over and give it a try even though I was not hungry but I was craving some good tacos. To my surprise they had all my favorites on their menu. Asada, Chorizo, Pastor, Lengua, Buche, Pollo, Cabeza, and TRIPA!! (Love tripa). I'm not sure if I missed one so my apologies if I did. They had burritos, quesadillas and other items. I like that they keep it short and sweet, and stick to the more popular items. Okay, so how were the tacos? In my opinion I've had better but not bad at all. I would definitely have them again, more so because it's the closes street taco place in my side of town. Their also affordable and can appreciate the grilled jalapeño and grilled unions on the side. Only true negative is the location, it's parked 4-5 steps away from the street and there's a lot of fast moving traffic in this intersection. I also don't like all the cars coming into the gas which is located behind the truck and the limited to no parking. Overall, if your craving some tacos and don't want to drive too far this is definitely the place to stop but would recommend taking them to go. *One last thing, I liked that they give numbers instead of calling out tacos. It seems to confuse people and in occasions I've seeing people touch other people's plates and then give them back because it wasn't theirs.
