I don't think it matters what you get; beans, rice, meat, cheese, or all of the above in your pupusa. All of them are tasty. I would recommend putting the sauce and slaw on to make everything come together too. So good! The service is good. The food comes our pretty quick too. Hard to beat the prices either. read more

My favorite tacos in town. We usually come on Thursdays when tacos are 2-$1. I usually get a blend of carne asada and chicken tacos. My husband enjoys their flautas and orders a side of rice and beans. 9/10 times we order it to go. If you are looking for authentic street tacos, you found it. read more

Terrible! My husband and I do a date night once a week which usually consists of going to a local restaurant and eating dinner. Last Friday we chose this place, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! My husband received his food and was more than 1/2 done eating (he was eating slow but didn't want his food to get cold) when my waiter finally came over and said, "you're still waiting for your food?" another 20 minutes I received my food. When it was finally brought, I asked what the problem was, and he just lowered his head and said he was sorry. I told him at that point I didn't think I should have to pay for it. He said he would check with his manager. He NEVER came back. When we went up to the register to pay the bill, I asked him what the manager had said. He said I still had to pay. The food wasn't that good, the service was TERRIBLE (and please note I am very understanding of the fact places are understaffed and I make allowance for this) and the desire to make sure customers have a pleasant experience is NON existent. As previously stated, we go out every week and this is the first time I felt I needed to complain. If you are wanting a nice experience, I would AVOID this place. read more

went here for the first time and it was just 'ok' The waitress really pissed me off. I ordered one soda and she brought me two so I figured 'What the heck...ill just drink it' but it tasted really off to me. I asked if I could just not have it and have it removed and I would stick with water. She said no, that she could not just take it off. So I asked if I could get a different soda and get a free refill of what I actually liked. And again she said no. This was not possible. Next they were out of quesadillas and pasteles de pollo...uhm...ok? We were done for about 15 minutes and she still didn't come back to check on us. The food was ok but it lacked flavor. The slaw (which I normally love) was bland. pupusas were decent but the tamales were all masa and no flavor. Maybe going again will give a different experience. I'm pretty bummed actually. I really needed to update this review. The old place shut down and is now under new management. Huge improvement - especially on Tuesdays when they have a deal on their pupusas. I'm giving this 5 stars, partly because it is in Logan. The pupsas and slaw are great - I always get the mixed ones with beans cheese and pork. Fried yucca was good too. All very reasonably priced now with friendly service. I sure hope this place stays busy because I love coming here. read more

Incredibly delicious for excellent prices! I ordered several pupusas of different flavors and all were fantastic. Maduros were also good. The place seems family run; even if not specifically family, everyone was very friendly and full of smiles. I even scored an extra bag of curtido. Probably 2/3 of the customers were Latino-appearing, but people who don't speak Spanish will be fine. read more

So, as with all reviews. I compare the restaurant against others in the area (Brigham, Logan and Tremonton). To that end, this is the best pupuseria in town. Food: The portioning is just right. You can almost try one of everything without leaving overly full. The flavor is FANTASTIC. It makes my mouth salivate when the thought of going enters my mind. Makes me giddy when i'm at the table and WHOLLY impatient after I've placed my order hahaha. That said, you should know that they make very few accommodations for the american palette and keep things very authentic. Trust me, that's a good thing. You will enjoy yourself. It's as such that, you could not get a better flavor if you took a 3000 mile trip to El Salvador. But at the same time, if you're the type of person who does not enjoy exploring new flavors. Strictly a meat and potatoes kinda person. This is not the place for you. That said, I think 80% of the items on their menu are within reach of the average american palette. If there is perhaps one complaint is that their menu is very limited. Not many options. However, I don't mind too much. Almost everything in their restaurant is made by an experienced old gal that knows how to push out quality food. I can't imagine her keeping up with a larger menu and sustain that level of quality. YES, this does mean they will run out of X if you arrive later in the day. YES, that means you should get off your rear and get there earlier and YES its worth it. Although, the one thing they NEVER run out of is...pupusas. Its their signature dish. The reason you go there. The reason El Salvador exists. Drinks: They have Coke products and Jarritos (Mexican soda), keep in mind that some of these (including coke) are not fountain drinks. They are imported, taste different (better to some) and not all that cheap. So, dont expect free refills. That said, you should really try their water drinks. They are home made and very delicious. Ok ok, they're not always out-of-this-world delicious. Clearly they like to experiment and they dont always hit the mark. But I've not had an experience with these i'd classify as bad. For the extra cynical: When I say they're home made, I dont mean they opened a bag of powder flavor and mixed it with water. :P Price: I do not think its an exaggeration to say: I can order one of every menu item (including a water drink!) and still not break 30 bucks. This makes going there an easy choice and you won't have to worry about your bank balance if you take the whole family. Conclusion: Go for the pupusas, go for the water drinks and keep coming back every time you got five bucks. You wont be disappointed. read more

This restaurant is a a very nice place to eat at, the people there are very friendly and whenever you can decide on what to get they help you out. Something that is nice is that they have the menu both in English and Spanish and there are some people who can speak English for those who can only speak English. As soon as you sit down they are already starting on your food, when they give you your food they say to enjoy your food and to let them know if you need anything. As soon as people are done eating and leave they hurry and go clean the table to be ready for the next people. Something that I like is that they do things quick and easy, they never fall behind. My first time eating pupusas (2/$1 on Tuesdays) and they were good, what I liked even better was the curtido, a little salty, but delicious! My wife had their asada tacos (2/$1 on Thursdays) and enjoyed them, especially with the green salsa which was amazing! With only one wait staff (when I went) the service can be slow, I guess this is how they keep their prices down... If you're expecting fancy atmosphere and fine dining you've come to the wrong place, but if you want good fare at great prices this is the place! read more

Worst wait time. Just for four mediocre pupusas, we waited a half an hour for them to finally bring it to us. When we brought this to their attention they said they were busy. I looked around and only 3 tables were filled. Two families and two singles. Busy my butt. Worst service. Not worth your time. We also asked for revueltas (mixed with pork, cheese, and beans) the girl attending us yelled that order to the cook but when we got our pupusas and took a bite they were all beans. Clearly, they exaggerate their business but they can't take orders correctly nor do they try to keep their customers pleased. read more

This is one of the best restaurants in Logan. It is inexpensive and delicious. The papusas and tacos are amazing. We also always order the fried plantains. The service is not always the fastest--there is only one cook (Grandma) and so you have to be patient sometimes. The servers are family (son and daughter) and are always friendly and remember us.
