This was our first time going here. We honestly didn't even know it was tucked back here we ended up showing up at 9:00 p.m. just an hour before closing which can make me nervous but they seemed welcoming and still seated us they were very friendly and checked in on us. The restaurant seemed clean and well put together. In regards to the food the cheese sticks were good the presentation was good my boyfriend liked his meal I really enjoyed the queso and salsa. The only bad thing I'll say is as good as my taco salad looked it was kind of bland which was surprising with all the ingredients the steak was very chewy I couldn't even swallow some of the pieces and it wasn't well seasoned. But I would definitely go back and maybe try a different type of meat maybe chicken overall if you're in the area definitely worth checking out. Also side note I got the sangria margarita it was good but man was it strong one even with the food is enough LOL. read more

Walked in to place a to go order. 3 customers in the entire restaurant. The "bartender" and waiter disappeared into the back and never came out to take my order. The waiter had an attitude when I first came in and said I wanted a to go order. Will NEVER give this place my business. read more

We've been going to Los Primos for years and I can't believe I'm just now writing a review. :) This place is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant. I've never had a bad experience, whether that be bad service, food, or drinks. The environment is just fun, it's located in a small town in Indiana so there's always lots of people there. I usually order a quesadilla or the Sandy's Special with a house margarita. Theirs are the perfect mix (not too sweet or tart). If you haven't been to Los Primos, go! read more

UPDATED FEB 15, 2016 Just moved to Bright , IN in May. Drove past this place in gas station plaza to try several others. We were in a rush one night and decided to give it a try. WOW! Very friendly staff. Nice size place inside. Food is very good and portions are ridiculously large for the money. 12 inch quesadilla LOADED with chorizo, steak and shrimp plus a bunch of veggies and really good refried beans for $9.98 . We, 've tried several items and all were way above average. This is a place we would drive miles to go to. Amazing it's literally 4 minutes away in little Bright,IN UPDATE: We have now been in Bright for almost a year. We have been to Los Primos on many occasions for lunch and dinner , weekdays, weekends and it continues to rate 5 stars. ALWAYS great food. Always friendly fast service. We just got home from having dinner at the new Harrison restaurant. Omg, We are so impressed by the food, hospitality, customize service, atmosphere, etc. I have been all over the country and to many Mexican restaurants and this one, by far, is the best on so many levels. Grace was our waitress tonight and she is the best waitress that I have ever had. She made guacamole for us at the table and my boyfriend and I both agree that it was the best that we have ever had. Being from Texas it's been hard for me to find a good Mexican food restaurant that is remotely close to the food I'm used to. And los primos has made me feel like I'm at home. So delicious. Everything I've gotten has been sooo good. He quesadilla that has the steak and shrimp and chicken is amazing. They cook the shrimp perfect. Queso is the main dish I have difficulties with and here it is scrumdittiliumptious. Love this place! And it's close and cheap! I go here at least once every 1-2 weeks.
