I love their queso and fried Avacado. Though I wish their drinks were better and the servers knee what they were doing. Or at least moved faster. read more

Great food however I've gotten take out twice and they get my order wrong both times. However, I've eaten there several times and they don't get my food wrong when in person at the restaurant. read more

The restaurant was not crowded and it took a long time to get service. When the food came out, it was cold. The fajita enchilada burrito plate turned out to be two fajita enchiladas. Tacos al Carbon plates was cold. Overall, the food did not have much flavor, maybe because it was cold when it came out. Not many options for Mexican restaurants in the area. read more

Didn't bother with Margaritas this time, so that issue is to the side. Chicken Enchiladas were pleasing to me, wife had simple quesadilla. Both good. Excellent prompt reasonably attentive and responsive service. On the whole, this is a popular place: always a good wholesome crowd. Gotta be good reasonS for it growing and remaining successful over 20 years. Congrats Los P.... read more

My spot for margaritas! Friday night is almost impossible to find a parking place. Food is fresh, visually appealing, and tasted good. May I suggest sopapillas for dessert. read more

Looked for a place to grab some tacos on taco Tuesday which landed on Cinco de Mayo this year. We had 2 orders of the 3 crunchy tacos today. Yummm! read more

It's not the best out there but it's pretty good. Service is always great. Prices are fair also.

Their Mangoritas are very good. Also, they started to make margaritas with Amaretto - Italianoritas if I am not mistaking. These are girly and very delicious! read more

Well, all is forgiven. It turns out I just don't like their Spanish sauce! I've narrowed it down to about 6 things I rotate through and they are consistently good. They know my margarita order before I sit down. Bravo Los Pericos! read more

This is my favorite local mexican restaurant. The rice is really great as well as the salsa, which are my top two determiners. The staff knows us since we have been coming here for years and are super friendly! My boys love the decor and the "big man" in the front! read more

I was overcharged by $3.50 for dinner because I didn't call the same meal the special vs calling it by name. The waiter was inattentive and did not know enough to inquire I had to do things for myself. Getting the busboy to get things for me because the waiter was unavailable. When I asked for the manager he was rude and refused to Make the adjustment. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS RESTAURANT EVER AGAIN. . I DO NOT RECOMMEND LOS PERICOS UNLESS YPI ESNT TO BE TREATED BADLY SND IGNORED. read more

Absolutely the best Mexican food around! The tacos are my favorite but the enchiladas and tamales are also wonderful!

Wish I could leave a zero star! We sat at bar for convenience as we were only a party of two and the place was full. The wait staff kept piling up dirty dishes and glasses beside us. We asked numerous times to remove them from beside and now in front of us. Really? I shouldn't have to ask that! They don't own a dirty dish tub or cart? They just put it on the bar in front of customers waiting for food or in the middle of eating. Never never again! read more

This is a pretty typical Mexican place. Multiple waiters help and check on you, so that's awesome. You never have to wait long for anything. read more

I have been eating at this establishment off and on for the past 14 years. The last 3 or 4 times I have visited this restaurant the food has been absolutely terrible. Now granted I did get a couple of to-go orders and your expectations can't be quite as high when you get to go orders however the food still needs to be edible. And it was not, not only did I throw my burritos away but my guests also threw their enchiladas and whatever else they got to the dogs. I'm not sure what they have changed but whatever it is they need to go back to it. I will never spend another dime at this establishment. read more

Best Mexican Food around . They have been around many years expanding with growth - the quality of food never changed to meet the faster pace . I love this place read more

It's the salsa! The salsa is what keeps me coming back for more. The food is pretty good. I usually order the enchiladas or fajitas. Their drinks are usually strong, but thats not a complaint! It's a favorite of mine when it comes to Mexican food in the area. This location is the original one, but there's now one in Huntsville. They're both gooooood. read more

I have eaten Mexican food all over the United States. This is some of the best I have ever come across. Chips are tender, salsa is exceptionally good. I had chicken Enchiladas which came with a beef taco, cheese puff and guacamole. Without exception, everything was delicious. I will definitely come back. I had number 75 combo. read more

I'm impressed, plain and simple. I'll admit it, my expectations were low at first glance. With an overuse of window tint and a surprisingly empty parking lot on a Sunday evening, I wasn't expecting much from this Los Pericos (I've frequented the Huntsville doppelgänger often). Upon entering the bar, I knew this place was run like a well oiled machine. An immaculate and highly organized bar welcomed me, as did a trio of servers rolling silverware while a hotly contested Barcelona v. Madrid Liga match raged on behind them. I was greeted with a smile and a rather strong, yet delicious, frozen, strawberry margarita. After taking my time on the menu, I ordered the fajitas, a true test of any TexMex restaurant's mettle. They were fantastic. Grilled to perfection and marinated in the what I'm assuming was the basting sauce of the gods. The onions, which were obviously tossed in with the meat at exactly the right time, delicately balanced against the carne asada, adding another robust flavor to the palette. Daringly hot and freshly diced jalapeños from the kitchen topped everything off with a perfect spice. For a single serving fajita plate, the portion was more than generous. The rice and beans, however, were overwhelmingly standard. This restaurants only average mark in an otherwise perfect score. AIl in all, it was a perfectly pleasant experience. If you're rambling through this sleepy and charming town, I would highly recommend a visit. It will be worth your time. read more

One of the better Mexican places in town. I've never had bad service or bad food here. That being said, it's a Mexican restaurant. It's noisy, can be really crowded, and is very laid back, which is why I like it. If you go in for lunch, and need to get back to work, just tell them and they'll speed up your order. We can drive up from Conroe, eat, and be back at work in under an hour. The food is consistently good, the prices are comparable with any other Mexican place around, and the people have always been friendly. We go regularly, and I don't see that changing any time soon. The ONLY down side is that they're so popular that you may have an extended wait if you go during the peak times. IMO, that just shows how good they are. read more

Pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, lots of choices, quick service, very easy on the wallet. I like that you can get a dinner combo platter with several items + rice and beans for $6. You can tell by the enormous parking lot and how many cars there are that this is a local favorite. I love the salsa. I wish I could buy a jar of it. The prices are good, and the portions/platters are well-rounded and sufficient, but not excessive. I felt nicely filled but not stuffed. I like that. read more

This is the worst Mexican food I have ever tasted! The manager was unprofessional, rude and incompetent. The chicken was as dry as Jerkey. Refused to compensate or replace my meal. read more

We have been coming here since the day they opened. Initially service and quality of food for the price was their top priority. Over the years we have seen a decline in concern for the customer. We have tried to return to the restaurant in the past few weeks, but have now been overcharged two or three times and we're never sure where our server is, or which one is ours. Today it got worse. Got our bill after chasing someone down and we were charged for top shelf drink when we ordered well vodka and also charged for tortillas to go with a Mexican Omelette. ...which I've been ordering for 20 years. We won't be back and I strongly suggest you double check your itemized bill before paying. P.S..there was no apology from the manager. read more

Good food, quick service, great atmosphere. The salsa is pretty terrible, tasted like watery spaghetti sauce....

Great food, great service. Recently went up on their prices A LOT BR still good and worth the trip!

We have been coming to Lis Pericos for 19 years. Their food is good, prices are reasonable and they are close. The staff knows us and we are always treated well. There are times when they are super busy so you might have to wait, but generally their service is great. It's why we keep going back. read more

We had a large group (40) attend a reception/lunch that I set up in advance with the manager. I couldn't be happier! The area was set up when we arrived, the service was excellent from start to finish, and the food was great. Everyone in our group was so pleased with the whole experience. Thank you so much for your professionalism and hospitality. read more

In love with their queso and fajitas! They've become a bit pricier with smaller portions, but still love their food!

Excellent. Great service and salsa. This place deserves much better than 3 stars. Very clean. Food is fresh. I had the special burrito and my wife had sour cream enchiladas. We got salsa and 2 drinks to go. We were just passing through bit we will be back. read more

Food was bland. It has a separate section for smoking but the whole place still wreaks of smoke!

Have loved going here for years. However within the last few months, service and food have to say the least have gone down hill. Found a hair in my food month ago. Then my friend found a hair in hers today. Price on food and drink increasing, size of food and drink decreasing. Never see manager out checking on patrons. No real appology, no hope you return, Mangager just said and I quote "sometimes that happens." read more

The salsa had a weird taste and it was not made from fresh ingredients. The fajitas were not made from quality chicken or beef. They are now using cheap ingredients and the food was awful. We will not be going back ever. read more

I love their chips and salsa. Food is delicious! Personally I love the steak fajita enchilada and sopapilla with honey(: They are busy but staying on top of our drinks and everything. Great food, friendly atmosphere, and always great service. This place has survived because it is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in the Conroe area. read more

We enjoyed our first meal there and my husband emptied both salsa dishes! That's right everyone gets his own serving salsa dish. (Double dip to your heart's content!) Went back a second time to try other menu items and were not disappointed. At lunch the multitude of windows makes it bright and cheery. The noise level was typical of most Mexican restaurants, but conversation is still possible. I cannot wait to return to the area next year just for the salsa alone. read more
