Ooo I am so coming back! Y'all! I started with nachos which were very tasty, crispy chips and lots of meat. For $16.00 I got a crab salad with grilled fish and a chicken breast topped with shrimp and crawfish. Definitely worth checking out. They have a huge variety, so take your time when ordering. I drank some drinks including the pina colada and 2 crown berry, which is crown apple and cranberry for $6. Our total came out to $72 for two. The deserts are basic but everything else including the service is genuine. If you have a fear of birds beware lol. read more

Stated with large queso and added taco meat. It was good. A large is enough for 6 adults. Comes with a side bowl of jalapeño and onion mixture. We had the guisada...and it was tender, flavorful. Plate is huge...I took at least half home. Others had the fajitas: chicken was good but a little over cooked, the beef was tender and had a charcoal sort of flavor that I liked, and the shrimp was probably liked the most. Chicken tacos al carbon: they cut up the chicken into chunks, which makes it difficult to eat. The burrito special: was extremely lime-y. It was the least favorite. Salsa is very thin, served warm. Great drinks and great fajitas! This is a great date spot or a family friendly stop.

Disappointed in personnel and management. We ordered online off their online menu and was really pleased with the price; however, when my husband went to pick up the order, the price had DOUBLED. The food is very good; I just wish that, after multiple calls to management to discuss which no one responded, management would take responsibility and call me to explain why the prices are different online as opposed to inhouse. If you also take life with a grain of salt, a slice of lime, and a shot of tequila --- then Los Pericos may be just right! I met up with a friend on a random Monday night to try out their Margarita's and have a quick bite. It was unexpectedly busy, but luckily we were seated right away. It's always a good sign to see lots of patrons on a traditionally slow week night. Good- The staff is super friendly and the chips and salsa better than most Mexican restaurants. When you look around the location of the restaurant near downtown Willis isn't that great, but don't let that discourage you from walking in this festive establishment. It has your typical brightly painted walls, but seems sparsely decorated compared to other local Mexican restaurants. We both ordered a round of Margaritas. She tried the frozen and I went on the rocks. Hers was definitely more potent than mine. They are known for making fairly strong ritas so BEWARE! Los Pericos was the first restaurant we tried when we came into Willis for the inspection of our new house. We ate lunch and sat in the dining room for a couple of hours waiting for the inspection to be finished, so we were able to observe how busy the place was with people coming through on their lunch hour. It was obviously a hot spot for working people in the neighborhood. The food is always delicious, my favorite dishes are the queso asado and the diablo chicken. The service is very friendly and you will probably have more than one waiter checking on you throughout the meal. Best Mexican food in Willis, in our opinion. read more

Food not to bad just watch your ticket when you go in with a party of 6 or more, they add gratuities automatically. I had to wait over an hour for food even though they were not busy. They try to give you a final ticket first, you need to ask for the itemized ticket before settling your ticket. I don't mind tipping at all when service is good, but I sat there for a hour then another hour after I ordered. Then, when I received my ticket they automatically charged 20% gratuity, service sucked. When I questioned the ticket he sad "Oh Well" I just shook my head. I hate shady people, just be honest! I had no choice to give 18% tip instead of the 20% automatically added to my bill. I'm done with lousy dishonest service, good luck Los Pericos I'm sure you will continue with your shady antics. I'll give this place 3 stars, mostly based on the wait staff. Super friendly, and on top of everything. Glasses were always full, they were super quick getting me a sling for my carseat (I've stood around waiting on a sling in some places for like, 10 minutes before it's the worst). The food is ok. It's not good but it's not disappointing either. Rice is pretty good, beans are odd. Queso and sweet tea didn't disappoint. Chicken is ok, it tastes fresh unlike some places where the chicken is fatty, dry and tasteless. All in all it was middle of the road for food, and great service. read more

Nice restaurant, clean, spacious, good service but the food was beyond mediocre. Tacos al carbon little squares of old tasting beef, what was supposed to be an enchilada turned out to be a quesadilla fit for a toddler again with some questionable tasting chicken, queso dip was fine suitably old school velveeta faire. My better halves food was worse, first plate she barely touched second plate arrived cold ten plus minutes later with possibly the worst cheese enchiladas I've ever had,, sauce from a can metallic and very stale/old. Oddly chips were excellent but the salsa was so bland one would think it was made for hospital patients absolutely no spice. Clearly this place caters to bland Caucasian tastes, absolutely completely inauthentic for Mexican food and utterly subpar for TexMex. Prices are reasonable, but the food frankly SUCKED. Try the torta place across the street, far better food quality or Willis supermarket get some fajitas norténa or al pastor and grill them at home for a fraction of the price, this place food wise was a dud which was a true shame. read more

Service and ambiance merit 2 stars, but the food and drinks are a poor shadow of what they were. Beef was too salty to eat. The Margarita, which used to taste nice and fresh now has a flavor of cheap sweet and sour mix with no lime. The queso, beans and rice are your basic canned paste glop. I have no idea what it was that they called an enchilada. Save your money and go to Taco Cabana, where at least they don't pretend to be a family business any more. this was the worst restaurant i have ever been to. i tried to order enchiladas and they charged me 21$ for fajitas. when i went to pay i tried to tell them that it was messed up and he was laughing saying that's what i ordered when i clearly pointed on the menu at what i wanted to our waitress, then the waitress came up and said i was lying and they said i had to pay for it. i will never be back and suggest that you don't waist your money here. read more

Lets start with the salsa, we didn't care for it in my opinion it tasted like someone just dumped chili powder in some tomatoes and the chips were definitely store bought. The margarita was good but my first sip the straw was in the bottom and I sucked up a mouthful of salt so next time no salt. I recently ordered takeout and was charged $27, but when I got the order the ticket was $23. The beef fillings had absolutely no flavor, didn't even taste like unseasoned meat. Customer Service= Perfecto! They came and checked on us often, and were very friendly. Food= very good. I got the shrimp enchiladas and my husband got cheese enchiladas. Oh and the salsa was warm and tasty. Chips weren't stale. Dessert= Churros tasted delicious. I'LL BE BACK! read more

We heard good things. Ordered the #121. 2 cheese enchiladas topped with steak fajitas!!! Sounds awesome right? Well we also wanted to add shrimp so we would have shrimp and steak fajitas on top of 2 cheese enchiladas!!!! Well, what came out was 2 patio dinner, ya know, the frozen Mexican dinners at the grocery, enchiladas, topped with about 10 pieces of 1/4 inch cubed steak. It was like they chopped up a small handful of meat and literally threw it on top of the horrible cheese enchiladas. Ohh, and they charged us $2.25 per shrimp. DONT GO. So we got 12 shrimp which were $27, plus the $10ish per order of the "fajita on top of cheese enchiladas" plate... $27 for 12 shrimp!!!! $27!!!!!!!!! Decent food, inattentive service (they were busy), fajitas a huge disappointment. Chicken ones were dry and tasteless; beef ones had an unpleasant whang. My guess is they were a frozen restaurant-supply version. Good fajitas are not difficult. You just have to care about what you serve. Buy fresh, marinate it yourself.
